A friend recommended I do a back ground check on a car I was buying privately,money well spent and peace of mind using motor check.ie,report on the car sent to me within minutes.

So happy I spent the money doing the full check on a fiat 500 we were going to buy! Car seemed immaculate, drove really well, guy selling seemed nice. I had done a free online check to see if the reg matched the car which it did and also did a cheaper check and all seemed fine. But decided to do full check and lucky I did because the car had reg changed and was a write off and I wouldn’t have been able to get it insured or been able to sell it. Definitely worth the money!

The check threw up an alert. When I asked for further information I had pleasant correspondence with a couple of staff. I was given as much info that was available.

Beware when buying this service for Irish registered cars. They say that they cannot guarantee 100% mileage checks. In reality I have not seen any evidence of them being able to do any worthwhile mileage checks. They should state the %chance you have and reduce the price if they cannot. A mileage verification is a fundamental part of a pre purchase check.

Buying a new car and spending a good bit on it. Did this check and it was really informative. What I like the most was the customer service. They were so helpful and guided me on what I needed to do next.
There was one part of the report I didn't really understand so picked up the phone. Stevan was so helpful. Roman has been emailing today to see that everything was sorted too. Not very often you get service like this these days. Highly recommend.

Would highly recommend Motorcheck for peace of mind when buying a used car. I recently bought a car from a private seller, Motorcheck confirmed there was finance outstanding. The seller could prove the finance was cleared but in order to be certain, Motorcheck contacted the bank on my behalf on a number of occasions until verification of clearance was received.

This service quite simply gives you the information you need when the seller wont. A must for any used car purchase.

Used them to check out a car that I was buying. Happy to see the record was without any concerns flagged. Mileage was not recorded but I was able to update it from the NCT records once I purchased the car. Communication was prompt and clear, excellent service and a must if you are buying a used vehicle.
