After a head-on collision, my wife searched Google for “aviva car insurance”. The result she clicked was titled “Report Your Claim – Aviva – Motor Claims Line”. She filled in the form believing she was reporting the claim to her insurer.

Within minutes she was called by an agent. The call lasted 32 minutes.At no point was she told she was dealing with an accident management company with no connection to Aviva. She had just been in a crash and was in shock, and she trusted that she was talking to her insurer.

During the call she was told she was “entitled” to a courtesy car and not to worry about the cost. She declined it, then confirmed that to both Enterprise and Motor Claims Line. The agent then called her back to try to persuade her to keep it.

Her car was collected by their recovery agent the next morning. When we found out who we were really dealing with and asked our actual insurer to take over, we were told the car would not be released to us, its legal owners, until we paid Motor Claims Line’s invoice. Meanwhile the claim had been passed on to Enterprise, and from there to a further firm to settle as a write-off, all without our knowledge.

We have written a formal complaint to them but they "normally reply to emails within 28 days", according to Natasha on the phone. Also the complaints team "isn't in on a Friday", all whilst our broken car is impounded by their partners, saying we will need to pay for it to be released to our insurer. £35 per day impounding fee's racking up.

Aviva confirmed in writing that we had been dealing with an accident management company, and they have reported it internally.

If you’ve just had an accident, call the number on your own policy documents. Don’t trust a search result that uses your insurer’s name. We’ve complained formally and reported the advertising to Google, the ASA, Trading Standards and the FCA.

Good response to questions.Pleased with rapidly of vehicle removal from accident site and independent valuation.
However kept referring to non existent hire car which I never requested

Initially I wasn't sure what My actions should be after being hit by another vehicle through no fault of mine. Im glad my decision was to contact my insurance. Motor claims line were very fast at gathering the information to go forward with my claim and helping to organise a hire car once my car was off the road.

This was my first ever accident but the people were so helpful and Andy who l mostly dealt with was very kind and helped me with my claim and dealing with the DVLA etc l can't praise him enough

I was sceptical at first about go through these rather than contacting my insurance for a no fault claim, but previous issues with my insurance increasing my premium for a no fault claim made me give it a go. From first contact the process was so easy and I hardly had to do a thing and in just under 2 weeks the case was settled and I received the pay out and had a courtesy car for the entire time, highly recommend

Once I entered my details on line someone called me back within a minute, after a brief conversation a recovery truck had been arranged to collect my car the next day and i was then passed over to a replacement car service for the same day, I was kept completely in the loop at each stage and my claim was resolved within 10 days, great service took all the stress away from me, if I am ever in a crash situation again I hope I get Motor Claims again.

I found them extremely helpful easy to contact no waiting on the phones for ages before speaking to anyone. I dealt mainly with Olivia. And Andy. I hope I don’t have the need to use them again but if you end up in an accident I would advise using them

I had an excellent experience with MCH Motor Claims Helpline and cannot recommend them highly enough.

They supported me in a difficult dispute with a company (KRD) that refused to accept the return of a bread slicer, claiming it had been used. The situation seemed stuck, and I wasn’t sure how to move forward.

Thanks to MCH’s intervention, professionalism, and persistence, the case was successfully resolved and I have received confirmation that my refund is now being processed. I am confident that without their help, this would have taken much longer and might not have been resolved without legal action.

I had never had an car accident before and I found my experience with Motor Claims absolutely fantastic. Got my courtesy car in less then 24 hours. My car was collected also within 24 hours . The whole process was easy and stress free . Unfortunately my car was written off but I got my payout today so an extremely fast process. Customer service was excellent.

Shockingly Rude !! rang this morning for a query regarding a windscreen - the worst rude lady answered the phone said we dont deal with this and hung up on me . I proceeded to ring back and she did the same again even when challenged about her manner . Get RID ! vile individual

The whole experience was smooth from start to end. Within a month the claim was settled and I received my money. Both Andy’s were very helpful, and they were available to talk at any moment I wanted to call. Super glad I went with them, they even gave a good value for the car. I’ll be honest, i had my hesitations before picking them and was slightly worried as this was my first ever claim, but it worked out perfectly tbh. Would highly recommended, especially if you think you have a straight forward case!
