Brilliant service - I’ve bought 2 cars from them and now my husband has bought on me and he can’t fault them either. Guy Seal on the phone from a main office is excellent

Everyone of the staff I met were very proffesional and knowledgeable no sales pitch or being pressured the team allowed me to browse at the range of cars at my leisure ,Benjaminand Louis were very proffessional from start to finish with the purchase explained everything to me every question was answered I was recommended by a family member to have a look at the cars I was not disappointed ,I would recommend the business to all I know .

I have purchased quite a few cars from motorpoint over the years and so has my husband we are really pleased with the whole experience of buying a car and would recommend motorpoint to all my family and friends

After sales care have been diabolical being told incorrect information being mislead if known this would have never purchased a car fronhere very unsatisfied.

Dealt with Ian Rowley and Jon Richards and they made things very easy for us. Ian was online and didn't make an issue over the service history etc that we inherited in Good Faith from Cazoo and was easy to chat to on the telephone. Jon was in Newport was also excellent and maintained the same positive attitude. Not looking for obstacles to charge more. He was just looking to make the process work and be as speedy as possible, which he did.

No hard selling. Good price for part exchanges, we exchanged two cars for one. Tax and log book sorted there for us. Drove in with our cars, drove out the same day with our new one. Hassle free and good price.

I would like to share my experience with buy a car from moterpoint car was faulty for day i bought the car in June has been mention many time but no response!!
Bought car in june2025 with extra warranty for one year, now time to come for repair the cancel my warranty and send full refund
Ex warranty miss-sold product!!!
Now I have just pay for repair from my own £1404 !!!
And they refuse to pay

Don’t bother buying car from them based on my experience and many more customers may be .

Bought a Volvo V60 from Motorpoint Newport in May 2026. Within weeks, and with the car barely driven, a fault developed with the turbo. I reported it straight away, well within my legal rights as a consumer.

Rather than deal with it directly, I was passed to their warranty company, Spectrum, and months later the car is still not fixed. I was told to find my own independent garage (none of the ones I contacted felt confident diagnosing a Volvo turbo issue), paid diagnostic costs out of my own pocket, and eventually had to book the car into a main Volvo dealer myself just to get a proper answer. The main dealer confirmed a worn turbo wastegate needing full replacement — not a wear-and-tear issue, and something Volvo guarantee for 100,000 miles, on a car that had done under 36,000.

What's been most disappointing is the lack of engagement with my actual consumer rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a fault like this — identified so early — should be dealt with by the dealer directly, not offloaded to a third-party warranty provider, especially when that warranty's own terms exclude faults present at the time of sale. Despite raising this clearly and in writing, the response so far has shown little regard for those rights, and I've had to push hard just to be heard.

I've now formally requested repair or a full refund under the Act, with a clear deadline. If you're considering buying here, just be aware of how a genuine early fault may be handled — my experience has been a lot of delay, cost, and inconvenience for something that should have been straightforward.

The sales person was fab came in for a car for my son which he got and I ended up changing my car aswell

There was no hard sell. We were able to browse at our leisure and use our mobile to scan the qr code for all the details. The salesman was helpful and after a test drive, he guided us through the process. We had an issue with the air conditioning but it was resolved immediately. Cannot fault the customer service.
