We hired Moving Prime for a long-distance move from California to Washington, and the experience was nothing short of disastrous.
On the scheduled pick-up day, the company provided a time slot for arrival. They missed it. We were then told they would arrive a few hours later—again, they missed that window. After repeated calls to the main office, we were assured someone would arrive shortly. No one did. The office then closed for the day, leaving us completely stranded. Attempts to reach their after-hours help desk were unsuccessful. This lack of communication and accountability caused extreme stress, as we had planned to move smaller items the next day and return our apartment keys by end of business.
The following morning, we called as soon as the office opened and were given yet another time slot. The movers arrived late again. Once they loaded our belongings, they increased the original moving fee, claiming we had more items than estimated. At that point, we had no choice but to pay the inflated cost since hiring another company was impossible.
When our items finally arrived in Washington, the problems continued. Several pieces of furniture were scratched, and worse, some smaller items were missing—including sentimental belongings like the shoes my wife wore at our wedding. We reached out to Moving Prime regarding the stolen items and have received no response whatsoever.
This company failed at every critical point: punctuality, communication, honesty, and care for our belongings. Their unprofessionalism and lack of integrity turned what should have been a straightforward move into a nightmare. Based on this experience, I strongly advise anyone considering Moving Prime to look elsewhere. They cannot be trusted to deliver on their promises.
