Always there to answer any question we had

I first contacted Mutual of Omaha in 2024 and spoke with Peter Marcus. He was very knowledgeable, professional and took time to answer my questions. At no time did he apply any pressure on me to make a decision or to choose Mutual of Omaha. He advised me to shop around before making any decisions. At all times he reiterated the process, and each step. I always felt secure. I decided to wait.

This year, 2026, I called him and was surprised that he would still be the loan officer should I decide to go forward. Peter has been with me during each step of the process. I never had to speak with other people and go through my story over and over. The only time was when I contacted other HECM providers.

After I made the decision to go forward with Mutual of Omaha, Peter stayed with me all the way through the process. He assured me that he will continue to be my point of contact.

I advise anyone considering this path to contact Peter Benjamin Marcus!

Linda Tran is a super star on your team. She is the most talented and knowledgeable woman I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in my many years in the business world. When presented with an issue, she either had an answer or got one in short order. Everyone involved was very helpful and professional.

I was about at the end of my rope struggling with finances since my husband passed away . I was looking ok line and found Daniel who was in my eyes a God send ! He guided me in the right direction to be able to get the help i needed to help me financially. Daniiel was so nice and so supportive and professional. I applied for a reverse mortgage more than two months ago, and keep getting excuses. I believe it's because my property isn't worth a million dollars so they just don't care. They don't return emails, and when they do - excuses, excuses

My experience was wonderfull. Very professional staff.

I’m not sure how a 4.8 rating can be acquired if the loan reps are not calling anyone back or when they do answer their customer service line, they transfer you to someone that’s on speaker phone a woman by the name of Irene, she said she was not on speakerphone, as if I am an idiot, I sent here a competing rate offer, she did not respond, instead she wanted me to reference back to someone I spoke with last year who doesn’t work there anymore, and unwilling to provide any information and unwilling to offer any numbers or take me off that speakerphone. This is not professional. Another rep called today, let’s see what happens, at least he didn’t have me on speakerphone .
I will edit my review if I am provided with good customer service. Please do not ask me to change my review until I am satisfied with your service.
Customers should be aware and afforded honest reviews and this is an HONEST REVIEW. I advise consumers to vet VERY CAREFULLY.
