Nature's HUG Pet Food Reviews

I have a 15 year old schnauzer mix. The past year she’s become more food sensitive and I was looking for a hypoallergenic food for her. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly she took to it. I find that she’s slowly getting back to her normal self. Definitely pleased with this foodchange. Thank you from a very happy dog Mom 🐾

Nourriture parfaite mon chien aime depuis bientôt 3ans et sont poils est parfais ! Très recommandé!

I received my first bag for my subscription with Nature's Hug for the Junior Formula for Medium and Large Puppies and was shocked to discover that they included a package of Wilder Harrier Cricket Shiitake & Turmeric Dog Treats with my order of vegan dog food.

I am a vegan, and have been since the 90s. My puppy is vegan, which is why I started the subscription for Nature's Hug vegan puppy food. Can Nature's Hug please tell me why on earth they would include a bag of cricket dog treats from another company (Wild Harrier) since they advertise themselves as a vegan pet food company?

Obviously Nature's Hug does not realize that crickets are NOT vegan - never have been, and never will be. I found it completely offensive that they included this with my vegan dog food, and it makes me question every aspect of their business practices since it is clear that they don't even understand what veganism is!

I have cancelled my subscription with Nature's Hug because of this and will switch over to the Evolution Diet vegan dog food from the US that actually understands that crickets are not vegan.

Edit: Nature's Hug has informed me that they have never stated that they are vegan; none of their products are vegan. Glad I listened to my gut and cancelled my subscription. Nature's Hug is NOT vegan at all even though there are countless websites and reviews from people stating that the product is vegan. Nature's Hug is a shady business trying to take advantage of vegans by selling a non-vegan product as such. Their ingredient list and FAQ should state that the vitamin D3 is sourced from sheep so their claim that the product is 100% free of animal proteins is false and none of their pet foods are vegan.

I have three grown cats and they tried it and liked it but I bought it for the raccoon I am feeding and she really loves it. I may order again.

Fast delivery and my dog loves it. 🐶

Got a sample bag so far it’s going well my shih zhu has not rejected , I am still on the first weeks . Will give an update later but so far so good .

Super fast to receive my order!!!! Dogs are loving the food!!!!!♥️

I think it's wonderful that you offered such a generous sample size for free, shipping cost only. The first time I introduced it to my cats they ate all of it, which made me very happy. Unfortunately they now seem to leave it aside when I add it to their old food. I'm disappointed in them but I'll keep trying because not participating in the taking of another life to feed my cats is important to me. Thanks again.

Super fast shipping. Had this item delivered in less than 48 hrs. Couldnt find at a local store so I guess that confirms that Saskatoon is behind the times.

Our dog is 17 years old. Food is very important to her but she has become terribly picky. I've tried everything and I can honestly say that this is the first food she has actually liked. We are so relieved to have found your food and have already ordered more. Can't thank you enough.

My dog love it

My dog and cat like this food

Our cat now DEMANDS this food!
She was very happy with her old food for years, but ever since trying this one she refuses to eat the existing kibble, and only eats this. So, a 5 star glowing review I guess!

Great quality plant based food delivered right to our door. Our Dog loves it and we love the company's philosophy and quality.

Excellent product! My chihuahua had allergies to other food but it cleared up with Nature's Hug.

An excellent food for dogs with allergies, but impossible to find in stores! I was ordering it through Global Pet Foods for a few months, but then they stopped receiving it, and when I reached out to Nature's Hug about getting it through local Ren's Pets, I was told they'd look into it and then never heard back.
Luckily, you can buy online through the Nature's Hug's website now, but it's a bummer that you get stuck with shipping costs this way unless you order multiple bags. My dog is small and doesn't go through a bag very fast, and yet the bags have early best before dates, so it really only makes sense for me to buy one at a time.
