I ordered the fly screen for a bedroom balcony door and window.
Quality product and easy to install. I have not been bitten yet this year.....and those pesky mozzies love me..

Poor quality product and poor customer service experience.
I am writing this as I keep being emailed to provide this company a review.
I didn't experience any issues with lead time as mentioned by other reviewers, so I assume that's a seasonal thing that varies based on demand.
However, the customer service experience has been incredibly strange. I have the unfortunate combination of a measurement error being made by both myself, and one by the Newblinds team across different parts of my blind. When speaking to customer service they were very prompt in informing me about the options for me to pay more to get them to fix my error, but have been utterly silent regarding my questions about their measurement error. This has not been acknowledged once, and they haven't responded to my email about it despite me providing photographs etc as requested.
As such, I have no idea whether, if I pursue the option to pay and have my blind adjusted, it will even fit the second time as I don't know if they plan to adjust their mistake or just charge me for mine.
In regard to the quality of the blind, it's incredibly flimsy and the mesh itself is of incredibly poor quality compared to products I've used in the past. The quality of the product is definitely not reflective of the price paid.
If you're concerned about longevity and sustainability of a product, this product is not suitable. It does not seem possible to replace the mesh inside with any ease and as such if it gets damaged you'd likely have to pay for an entirely new blind. I think the company could do significantly better on this front, potentially by offering a take-back scheme to recycle old blinds and repurpose them as part of new products etc.

Not very impressed
The blind wasn't correctly assembled when it arrived (missing one screw). There were NO instructions. The blind hadn't been paired with the remote control, nor limits set. The wrong adaptor was sent with the correct one taking two weeks to appear. Programming the blind from scratch was a non trivial task. We went to another company for the rest of the house

blinds were made to order and were faulty, they didn’t want to accept this
blinds were made to order, they did not fit even though i gave exact measurements. then they made me gives lots of evidence to prove it was their fault and i had to threaten legal action due to them violating my consumer rights on requesting a refund for a faulty product before they eventually agreed to give me a refund!!!

When you first contacted us, you advised that you believed the blinds were faulty and referred to your rights under consumer legislation. As the issue related to the fit of made-to-measure blinds, we asked for additional information and photographs so that we could investigate whether the cause was a manufacturing issue or something else. This is a normal part of our assessment process.
Although we offered to inspect the blinds, you made it clear that you did not want them to be altered or remade under any circumstances and instead requested a refund. We therefore arranged to collect the blinds and, once they were returned to the factory, processed your refund rather than carrying out any further inspection or remedial work.
We’re sorry that you were left dissatisfied with this experience and wish you all the best for the future.

A quality product, but heavier than I expected
I bought an aluminium chain insect screen. Can't fault the design or the manufacturing. But I would have been glad if Newblinds had told me how heavy it was (6 kg) and that mounting brackets were highly recommended. Reading the website, I initially thought a couple of little hooks would be adequate but was then forced to pay separate postage to get three brackets to hang it securely.

If zero stars were available, I would give zero
This has been a horrible buying experience.
The website advertised a delivery timeframe of 7–10 working days, and I was later told that my order was expected to be dispatched on 12 June 2026. I have now been waiting for more than three weeks, but I still have not received any dispatch confirmation, tracking information, or clear update about my order.
I have had to repeatedly chase customer support, and the lack of communication has left me extremely disappointed and concerned about whether my order will ever arrive.
I have now requested that the order be cancelled and that a full refund be returned to my original payment method. Hopefully, they will respond soon and process the refund without any further delay.
I would not recommend ordering from this company based on my experience.

Your order was placed when the advertised lead time for this product was 10–14 working days, which would mean an estimated latest delivery date of 18 June. Where possible, we had hoped to dispatch your order by 12 June, but this was an estimate rather than a guaranteed dispatch date.
Unfortunately, following an unusually high level of demand during the warm weather at the end of May, we needed to replenish materials, which delayed production. Whilst we have responded to customers who contacted us, we recognise that we were not able to proactively update every affected customer, and I appreciate how frustrating that must have been.
As requested, we have now cancelled your order and will process a full refund to your original payment method today.
I will also contact you directly by email regarding this matter. I sincerely apologise for the delay and the disappointment this has caused.

Flimsy pet roller blind. The blind dislodge and goes up by itself so not very helpful preventing pet escaping

The product is designed and marketed as a fly screen, with pet-resistant mesh intended to better withstand scratching and rough treatment from pets. However, it is not advertised as a screen designed to prevent pets from escaping, and we make this clear within the product information.
That said, some customers do successfully use the screen for this purpose. If you email me at tim.pendleton@newblinds.co.uk with your order reference number, I’d be happy to look at your installation and advise on ways to help keep the screen securely in position.
I’ll also need your order reference to investigate the lead time on your order. We have experienced some delays recently whilst replenishing stock following an unusually high level of demand during the warm weather, and I’d like to review the specifics of your order for you. I sincerely apologise if your screen took longer to arrive than you were expecting.
