Completing the NextGen's Agentic AI Product Manager…
Completing the NextGen's Agentic AI Product Manager Cohort has been a transformative milestone in my AI product leadership journey. The program delivered a rigorous, future‑focused curriculum that pushed me to think beyond traditional product frameworks and into the emerging world of agentic, autonomous AI systems.
The coursework went far deeper than surface‑level AI concepts. It provided a comprehensive, hands‑on understanding of the technologies and strategies shaping next‑generation AI products:
Agent Architecture — Designing autonomous, multi‑step AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and acting.
1. Context Engineering — Structuring and optimizing context windows for reliable agent behavior.
2. Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) — Building knowledge‑grounded systems with scalable retrieval pipelines.
3.Evaluations & Guardrails — Implementing safety, reliability, and performance frameworks for production‑grade AI.
4.AI Product Strategy — Translating technical capabilities into business value and defensible product roadmaps.
5. MCP Client–Server Architecture — Understanding modular, interoperable agent ecosystems.
6. Many practical hands-on lab exercises and breakout sessions have helped me to understand all the concepts and Agentic AI workflows.
On top of that my team's capstone project was selected as the Cohort Winner, a recognition I’m especially proud of. Thanks to Jyothi's mentoring and our dedicated team for their outstanding collaboration.
We built a Proactive AI Voice Agent for Travel Disruption Management, designed to autonomously assist travelers during airline, hotel, and rental car disruptions.
This program didn’t just expand my knowledge—it reshaped how I approach AI product development. I now think in terms of autonomous workflows, context‑aware systems, and AI‑driven decision loops, all grounded in responsible design and measurable outcomes.
I would encourage anyone who is new to agentic AI or wants to transition their role to an Agentic AI PM. This course will definitely stand out and enhance your resume, giving more weight to your earned skills. So go for it.
AI PM Course
I took a 5-week AI PM course with Jyothi and had a great experience. The course was very interactive and covered a lot of foundational AI concepts in a short time. Jyothi was excellent at explaining complex topics using simple, real-world analogies, which made it easy to understand.
My only feedback is that the course felt a bit short given the amount of material—we could have gone even deeper with a longer duration
Jyothi's instruction style is a privilege to have as a learner.
Jyothi's instruction style is a privilege to have as a learner. With her deep working knowledge, humble way of answering questions, the balancing act between theory and hands-on experience, she brings a complete experience to the table. Its not just about the end goal, you get to enjoy the journey too.
Quickly guide to everything AI - Gen AI to Agents
I recently completed an AI PM course taught by Jyothi. It's a great starting point for anyone looking to build foundational knowledge across the AI landscape from ML models to agents. It is well-organized with good content and hands-on exercises. Jyothi also weaves in anecdotes from her real-world AI PM experience, which adds context you won't find in a textbook.
One thing to set expectations on: as a 5-week course, it covers a lot of ground, so it's better suited for someone getting oriented than someone looking to go deep on any one area.
A good starter pack
A good starter pack! Touch based all the topics. Instructor was clear and precise. We had an app ready by the end of the course. However 5 weeks and the given time enough for me to explore the topics in depth as I expected.
The Next Gen Product Manager course…
The Next Gen Product Manager course introduced fresh ML topics I hadn’t known before, though coverage was superficial. It felt rushed overall, and hands-on workshops plus AI PM job readiness guidance toward the end would have helped a lot. Still, it boosted my confidence and got me building apps by the finish line.
Connect dots in AI-PM Space
I recently completed the AI Product Management course with Jyoti Nookula, and it genuinely helped me connect the dots across a space I had been trying to navigate on my own.
What stood out: the hands-on projects and capstone — they added practical weight to everything covered in class and helped me apply concepts rather than just learn them. The breadth of topics (GenAI, evaluation, AI product strategy) is impressive and well-curated for this space.
Honest caveats: some topics are covered at a high level rather than in depth, and the 5-week pace is fast — almost a marathon. Bring your focus.
Bottom line: I walked away with skills I can use in real-world scenarios. Highly recommend — especially if you're looking to connect the dots in AI PM quickly and practically. Thank you, Jyoti!
Jyothi knows her craft
Jyothi knows her craft. Her grasp of AI Product Management is deep, her course is very well structured, and the capstone project lands everything she teaches into something real. The examples she picks and the way she handles questions in class reveal just how much she knows — she is the kind of instructor who makes complexity feel obvious in hindsight. One piece of advice: engage with her more. Ask questions, push back, dig in. The more you interact, the more you learn from her.
I recently completed the AI Product…
I recently completed the AI Product Management course by Jyothi Nookula and wanted to share an honest take for anyone thinking about it.
On the positive side, the course is well organized and includes hands-on work like projects and a capstone, which helps make the material more practical. The live sessions and Q&A are helpful, especially if you prefer a structured, guided format. The instructor clearly has strong industry experience, and that shows through in the real-world examples used throughout.
That said, there were a few areas where it didn’t fully meet expectations. The depth of content is somewhat limited. It covers a lot of topics like GenAI, evaluation, and AI product strategy but mostly at a high level. If you’re looking to build deeper expertise or a strong technical foundation, this may not be enough.
The pace is pretty fast too. Trying to cover everything in five weeks means some topics feel rushed, and it can be hard to fully absorb the material, especially if you’re newer to AI.
Overall, the course has some clear strengths, especially in structure and practical exposure, but it doesn’t completely live up to the expectations it sets. I’d see it more as a supplement for existing PMs rather than a standalone path to breaking into AI product management.
Great AI PM Overview with Hands-On Impact
Finished the AI PM course — Great coverage of core AI product management concepts with a nice breadth of topics for anyone looking to get into this space.
The hands-on projects with AI tools helped to think critically, solve real problems, and actually implement solutions — not just consume content.
Recommend for anyone looking to get an overview in AI product management.
Making AI/ML Simple and Practical
I had the opportunity to learn the basics of AI and ML from Jyothi, and it was a great experience. She is an excellent instructor who is incredibly patient and supportive with the entire class.
What stood out most was her ability to explain concepts using relatable, real-world examples. This made it much easier to understand not just the theory, but also how AI and ML can be applied in practical situations.
Nextgen online course Review
I recently completed nextgenpm online course that exceeded my expectations in every way. What stood out the most was how well-structured and engaging the content was. The course was broken down into short, focused modules, which made it easy to absorb complex topics without feeling overwhelmed. Each lesson built logically on the previous one, creating a smooth learning experience.
The instructor Jyoti played a huge role in making the course impactful. Their explanations were clear, practical, and supported with real-world examples, which helped me understand not just the “what,” but also the “why” behind each concept. I especially appreciated the hands-on exercises and mini-projects, as they allowed me to immediately apply what I was learning.
Another highlight was the interactive elements—quizzes, assignments, and discussion forums. These helped reinforce key concepts and provided an opportunity to learn from other participants’ perspectives. The feedback on assignments was also timely and constructive, which kept me motivated throughout the course.
Overall, this course was not only informative but also highly engaging and practical. I walked away with skills I could confidently apply in real-world scenarios, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their knowledge in this area.
This is a good course for anyone…
This is a good course for anyone interested in learning AI. Those with an IT background—either technical or in roles like project/program management—will find the learning curve more manageable, but tech‑savvy learners outside IT will also benefit.
The course is fast‑tracked and assumes a high level of self‑motivation; there is no spoon‑feeding. The learning portal is rich with quality material, and participants are expected to proactively use it.
Jyothi in my opinion should be seen as a mentor who provides guidance and direction, but the responsibility to learn lies with the individual.
Great Foundations with Hands-On Learning
The course was easy to follow and helped build a strong understanding of foundational concepts. The weekly projects pushed us out of our comfort zones and encouraged hands-on learning.
Learning AI Naturally
Learning AI Naturally was not what I was hoping when I opted to join the Cohort. I had very minimal understanding of the bits and pieces of the AI world when I started. At the end of the cohort all pieces of puzzle were together in the form of a Capstone project that was liked by the Instructor right there ! What other testimony can justify the fact that you cannot go wrong with this learning experience from Jyothi. I have built 5 applications in 5 weeks !!
Jyothi is a great instructor
Jyothi is a great instructor. Brings tons of live examples from her previous experiences at FAANG companies.
From Laid-Off PM to AI Builder: This course is the real deal
After experiencing my first layoff, I was looking for a way to bridge my Product Management background with the shifting landscape of AI. This course was the spark I needed.
It moves past the 'hype' and focuses on high-stakes, real-world production environments. I went from feeling stuck to building autonomous agents that solve complex 'unstructured' problems in logistics. If you are a PM looking to transition from just 'managing' technology to actually architecting agentic solutions, this is the blueprint. It didn't just give me a new skillset; it gave me my confidence back. Highly recommended for anyone serious about the future of AI.
Jyothi's course on Agentic AI
Jyothi's course on Agentic AI completely changed how I approach building with AI. I came in as a self-described novice, and I left with the confidence and skills to actually ship real features.
What sets her apart is how she bridges the gap between concepts and real, hands-on building. She doesn't just explain what agentic AI is, she shows you how to think like a builder and then actually builds it.
Highly recommend NextGenProductManager — and Jyothi specifically — if you want to go from curious to capable.
The best introduction to the universe of Agentic AI
I recently completed Jyothi's Agentic AI cohort, and it was honestly one of the best learning experiences I’ve had stepping into this world of Agentic AI.
What really stood out about this course is that it goes far beyond theory. Instead of just learning concepts, you’re constantly building, experimenting, and applying. As a Product Manager, that made all the difference. From building agents to understanding guardrails, exploring MCP, skills, and getting hands-on with real agentic workflows—you don’t just learn what agentic AI is, you learn how to actually build with it.
The structure of the cohort is incredibly thoughtful. Each session builds on the last, and by the end, you’ve touched nearly every critical component of the agentic ecosystem. It gives you a well-rounded “flavor” of the space while still going deep enough to make you confident in applying these skills in real-world scenarios.
What I appreciated most is how empowering the experience is. You walk away not just informed, but enabled—as an AI-native builder. It fundamentally shifts how you think about product development in the age of AI.
If you're a PM (or anyone) looking to truly understand and build in the agentic AI space, this cohort is an absolute must.
Highly recommend!
Agentic AI for Dummies
Jyothi makes difficult concepts easy to understand. Thanks to the lessons I have learnt in this class, I am confident in building my own Agentic AI product for any real-world use case. Most classes are theoretical, few put the theory into practice. If you are looking to learn Agentic AI that you can use in real world examples, then you must enroll in this, you will not regret it.
