Ryan arrived at our house at 10.00am in the morning and was still there at 7.00pm in the evening finishing off. He was so thorough checking the quality of all the works carried out by our supposed 5* Builders and identified many small things that we would not have even noticed, but also some important things that would have caused significant problems further down the line. Having investigated a number of similar companies, I can thoroughly recommend him for his attention to detail and value for money. He provided an excellent report within 24 hours of completion. Me and my partner came to Next Step Snagging whilst in the process of buying our first home together. We were told by family members that when buying a house we could be left with a lot of faults and defects that are easily missed by the untrained eye that could, with time, lower the value of the house and cause us issues down the road.

We looked online to find a company that checks properties for any problems and found just that in Next Step Snagging. I emailed Ryan asking about the services provided and (obviously) how much this would all cost us. One week later he’s inspecting the property for us.

In the end he found over 150 snags, some minor and some more serious which we would never have found had we not used him. Worth every penny, all the problems are in the process of being fixed and we will be moving with full confidence that our house is up to scratch.

We very recently had Ryan of NextStep round to survey our new home we moved into last month. I was so impressed with his proffesionalism and attention to detail I was compelled to leave my first ever trust pilot review just as an added thank you! He was polite, had construction knowledge in abundance and took the time to explain to us the defects that had the potential to really cause us problems in the future, of which we were completely oblivious to! The value for money from this service when you consider savings from future defects makes it a no brainer.

You recieve a very in depth report at the end of the survey that you can just hand to the developer for them to take care of. I already have Ryan booked back in for a follow up survey next month to check the developer has carried out all the remediation work to the correct standard. Would recommend to all new home buyers.

I had Next Step Snagging over to my 2 bedroom apartment yesterday in Winchester.
I live abroad so couldn’t be there to check over my property so needed someone to do it for me.
Booking was very easy via the website. Ryan (the inspector) met my friend at the property at the agreed time.
I had a brilliant report sent through to me within 24 hours with everything detailed and recorded with pictures.
Makes my life so much easier being able to go to the developer with a clear list.
Safe to say there were a lot of issues with my new build.

I had Ryan round to my house today to undertake a snagging inspection on my new build. His developer insight chat prior to the inspection was excellent, full of really useful advice (do’s and don’ts) when talking to the developers. Ryan spent four to five hours snagging every part of the house, used a thermal imaging device and put up a drone to check the roof from above, very, very thorough inspection. Ryan picked up things I wouldn’t have known about it or even considered. He was very knowledgeable and professional so glad we booked him. I would thoroughly recommend Next Step Snagging to anyone in a new build who wants a professional and thorough inspection of any snagging which needs addressing.I have just received a very comprehensive report from him, excellent service.
