This wedding company was super helpful and respectful and attended to all our needs. My wife and I both caught Covid 2 days before our wedding and they helped up with rebooking and figuring out everything and overall helped with the stress that comes with planning a wedding. Nordic Adventure Weddings made our dream wedding come to life! We chose the Hide Away package and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting to elope. The experience was seamless, and we didn't have to worry about anything-the food was amazing, the tree hut was straight from a fairy tale, and the wedding day went smoothly with no effort from us. Lena took care of everything so that we could simply enjoy the experience.

We can strongly recommend Nordic Adventure Weddings. We are an international couple and booked the Magic Touch Package. Stevns Klint is a truly magic location and Lena from Nordic Adventure prepared everything just perfectly.
The old church was nicely decorated with flowers and candles. Champaign, Cake, bouquet for the bride, music during the ceremony, everything was greatly arranged.
Lena also took care about the paperwork and gave us valuable advice on legal issues.

We came through Nordic Adventure Wedding by researching the best wedding planner and experience in Denmark. Overall the review were amazing and my husband and I can 100% confirm. The team ( Lena and Carsten) is the best.

From the beginning till the end they were always there for us and explaining all the plan and details via whatsapp and email.
We trusted them for organizing the place (romantic location), the best hotel for us and our guests, and the dinner location.
Our wedding took place in the beautiful and stunning island of Bornholm and made our special day magical.

Lena made it possible for us to get married in a short amount of time. She took care of all the legal papers and administrative organization. So it was stress free for us and she made everything easy.

Lena and Carsten are so kind and welcoming. They took us on a mini tour of the island, recommended some hotspots and gave us historical insight.

Overall, we had a great experience with the Nordic Adventure team. We decided to get married a bit spontaneously and needed the dates confirmed ASAP. We also wanted something very simple with the least effort for us, so we could just send over some papers and then show up for a short ceremony. And this is 100% what we got. Very happy! :)

We want to thank you from the bottom of our heart for giving us such a great service and wonderful hospitality.You are very active and responsive.

My wife is a US citizen and I am a UK citizen. We were looking to get married somewhere other than the US and UK due to travel restrictions and other circumstances at the time. We first looked into Gibraltar but their registry office was completely overbooked for 2 months.

We emailed around 5-6 marriage companies in Denmark about having a wedding ceremony within a month. Most of the other companies either responded with a generic email or offers which were £500-£1000 more than what we ended up paying. Their fees were higher also because they classified within a month as being priority service.

Lena replied quickly fully answering our questions with a slot that was available that worked for us whilst charging normal rates for the service which was a lot less costly than other companies. As a new young couple we wanted a relatively simple ceremony which didn't break the bank but we also did not want the hassle we heard people can go through when trying to deal with the authorities themselves to arrange a ceremony.

Lena asked us to provide pictures of our passports, pay a little deposit, fill out a few documents, and the rest was taken care of for us.

We then arrived in Maribo where our ceremony was taking place, Lena checked our passports in person, and the ceremony was carried out nice and quickly.

We were given a nice gift of some apple juice, vinegar, and chocolate which was nice.

Our legalised marriage certificates were then promptly posted to us the following week and we received them shortly after.

And most importantly, Lena was responsive with straightforward answers to questions throughout the process from first contact to answering questions after we had received our certificates.

As a side note, for foreigners who are flying into Copenhagen, it's best to sort out your travel plans in advance if you are marrying in a different city e.g. Maribo. We decided to rent a car eventually but Lena is also helpful in offering transport or letting you know what options you have as well as where you can stay in Maribo if you want to spend a day or two there.

July 7, 2021, 70th birthday of my husband, Jens.

The decision to not miss out anymore on spending the rest of our lives together got crystallized only a month before. It is a culmination of a 39 year old love story. We never truly thought that after so many years in between, other relationships through the years, and living on two sides of the ocean ... that any chance of us coming together, much less be wed, was written in the stars. But having reconnected in November 2019 confirmed to us that there was still that very strong connection .. and it made our decision fast and firm to go for it. We knew and felt it was finally our time.

I, Cami (68 yrs), has been married and widowed before, but my husband wasn't. It was going to be his first time. So I knew it had to be something really special. Well he chose the date to be on his 70th birthday, and that heightened the pressure. I knew I had to involve the Best Wedding Planner available.

I scoured the internet, read lots of reviews from different providers and when I got to Carsten and Lena, both thumbs went high up!

Contacting Lena was smooth, the responses came in fast and clearly, the timetable given just perfect, and the cost - dreamy! I even took Lena to confidence to help me put together a huge surprise for my Jens's birthday on our wedding day. I knew he was not thinking of a birthday celebration at all... but being that it is a round number, plus he chose our big day on same day... I had to think of something special.

Lena and Carsten did everything I requested, gave superb suggestions, and kept everything on the down low. All these took place before we even met the first time.

We chose a garden romantic setting and we were simply pampered--- we were picked up from the hotel, brought to the location which fit perfectly what we wanted, champagne was flowing, cameras clicking, zoom setup ready so people we have invited from four continents could witness our union, and all three of them... Carsten, Lena, and Watham, our assigned photographer... were all hands and feet for us to excute everything perfectly. Even our Registrar who also wed us helped in all ways possible, and kept our spirits up and entertained! IT WAS FABULOUS!!

We can never thank Lena and Carsten enough for bending backwards to make our wedding day a 'superb senior wedding for the books', doing extra steps to make my love's birthday also unforgettable (and did not even charge extra at all, even gifted the gift, wow!), made us feel really special, and simply flowed with us as we became more playful during the whole ceremony.

We are forever grateful and already plan to go back to Nordic Adventure Wedding for Renewing our Vows in the near future!

Using this company was one of the best decisions ever! Nordic Adventure Weddings took care of all the planning, travel, cake, flowers, paperwork, etc. and made our special day 100% stress free. I am beyond happy with this experience and so thankful I found them! Lena, our wedding organizer, was especially helpful in answering all our questions and making sure everything went smoothly!! A dream wedding come true! We got married in an old Church above world heritage cliffs with a view over the sea. We're super happy with Lena and her team! Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Every question was answered quickly. And the package we booked included everything er needed, such as the Church, decorations, cake and a bouquet. We hope we'll never need to, but we would book this again if ever we had to. A definite recommendation!

We had the perfect wedding day thanks to Nordic Adventure Weddings. During the pandemic it seemed almost impossible to fathom being able to get married in an international location, let alone the ability to have any friends or family to join us. Fortunately when the small window of opportunity came in the form of travel opening up in the EU, we decided we wanted to have our dream wedding, and are really fortunate we came across this company. Within only a couple days of research, and the prompt correspondence with Lena, who is an amazing wedding coordinator, we were very impressed and had sorted a wedding date and arranged a deposit payment. The unique forest location along with the very competitive costs made it impossible to pass up.

Not only was Lena attentive and available over Whatsapp in the couple months leading up to the big day (we planned this pretty last minute due to all that is going on in the world right now…), but a huge benefit was how easy she made all the paperwork and legalities of things. It only took a few scans of our main documents, and a few days later she had already obtained the marriage license and everything! As a Canadian marrying a German, I had researched all the options, and kept coming across how easier and painless it was to consider Denmark as a place to get married. This was certainly true versus the bureaucracy we faced trying to get married in Germany, but I do strongly believe Lena made it significantly easier and saved us a lot of time and stress. Contacting government departments on your own is impossible at the best of times, let alone during a pandemic. Making this part of the planning process quick and painless was a huge value to us and I’m glad Lena sorted everything so efficiently!

The wedding day itself was perfect. Lena provided a beautiful forest location in Maribo and helped us arrange a private bus to bring our guests to the location. The ceremony was amazing, and everything from the decorations, to arranging a livestream for our family back home who couldn’t make it, and the photographer were top notch. As we had a small wedding of under 20 people, we loved how the wedding itself was both beautiful, but at the same time very relaxed and easy going. As everyone stood in a circle next to various candles and fire pits, the music played on as everyone sipped champagne and we went off for our wedding photos. We elected afterwards to have a lunch at a restaurant nearby, which Lena not only suggested, but arranged for our bus to bring the group to, and wait to bring us all back to our rental houses afterwards.

Lolland Island, where most of the wedding locations offered are is such a great place to relax in and enjoy the outdoors. It’s also only a short ferry ride from Germany, so it was great for some of our family to be able to drive up. Lena was great at referring us to a local house rental company where we hosted our family and friends for the week leading up to the wedding.

Nordic Adventure Weddings made our day absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend them, as they take away all the stress that goes in to planning, and allow you to simply enjoy the moment surrounded by the natural beauty of Lolland Island!

I would like to thank Nordic Adventure for making our wedding day possible despite the short notice. We were supposed to get married 30 August 2021 somewhere else but unfortunately, due to the rise of Covid-19 cases there and it making on the "red list" of my husband's country overnight, we made the heartbreaking decision to cancel and postpone our wedding indefinitely.
The unpredictability of border closure made us feel as if we are racing against time so we decided to look for different country and fortunately, I found Nordic Adventure. I get a hold of Lena and told her what I need and she did everything she could to secure an earliest date for us. We flew in 15 Sep and got married the following day.
I cannot thank her enough for everything that she had done and all the advices she had given me in arranging everything I need for my special day. She was very patient, reliable and very responsive to all my queries and so amazingly understanding to the stress I had. I love how she made the venue exactly how I dreamed of and the after services she provided me with all the legalization of our documents.

My fiancé and I decided to elope and started looking for a company that could help us navigate the intricacies of getting married outside of the United States. We looked at a few companies and ultimately decided to go with Nordic Adventure Weddings. It was probably the best decision we could have made while planning our elopement. From the moment we reached out to them, they took care of everything. They helped us plan and execute the wedding of our dreams. When we reached out we explained that we wanted to get married on a cliff overlooking the ocean and they found the perfect spot, scouted it out to make sure it was perfect a few days before the wedding, organized the photographer and officiant, and even brought us a beautiful bottle of champagne to celebrate after the ceremony. As I write this review, I am looking at a few of the pictures that the photographer sent us and I am blown away by how perfect it all was. If you are planning on eloping or even having a more traditional wedding, I could not recommend Nordic Adventure Weddings more highly.

I found Nordic Adventure Weddings through a group in Facebook called Love is not Tourism. It's about long distance relationship couples who are struggling to meet during the pandemic. A lovely couple posted there and got married with the help of Nordic Adventure Weddings and from that post we also gave it a try to inquire with their services. Best decision we ever made! Our hassle free and stress free elopement wedding all because of Nordic Adventure Weddings. We availed their Romantic Location Package and got married at Bandholm Hotel.
