Lena was very helpful throughout the whole process. It was easy to understand what documents we need to prepare. She kept it as simple as possible for us. We had to change the location of the ceremony due to holidays+sickness in the local municipality and Lena managed that excellently. It was no stress for us and we loved the new location she proposed even better! Thanks ;)

Booking Nordic Advent Weddings was the best decision we ever made. From the moment we started planning to receiving our photos it has been so straightforward and easy. Lena was with us every step of the way, with dealing with travel restrictions and any question she was always just the other end of a text message. We had the most beautiful day and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. We also fell in love with Denmark and can't wait to return!

Great and timely coordination. Apart from providing some basic documents to the team, everything is taken care of by them. They also picked us up as part of the package we chose, provided bubbly and the ceremonial service with beautiful decorations. We got the official certificate on the same day. Legalization requires 2 more days and they send you the document via speed post. Great and professional experience. Always reachable to answer our many questions. Highly recommended!

Nordic Adventure Weddings are amazing wedding planners! From our first email of enquiry to our beautiful intimate wedding day, Lena & Carsten were a dream to work with. They took the stress out of planning a wedding from overseas & we felt secure in their professional hands.
We choose the Hide Away package & from the moment we stood in the forest and saw the treehouse, we knew we were about to experience a wonderful and special moment in our lives that we would never forget. The treehouse and the beautiful diverse forest surrounding it made us feel at one with nature and added in a very unique way to our elopement. Meals were also included in this package & we tasted some delicious, seasonal homemade Danish cuisine.
Our wedding ceremony was held on the shores of a fjord & we had the entire place to ourselves. Our photographer captured some beautiful shots & our registrar made our ceremony feel incredibly personal.
Everything about our elopement was perfect!

With the “Magical touch” package we had the chance to say “I do” inside the Stevn Klint church, UNESCO heritage and as witness we had not only our loved ones but also the beautiful Baltic Sea.

I am Canadian, my husband is Irish. Getting married when you live in two different countries is difficult. Not with them, everything was taken care of, all we did was pick where and show up ready to celebrate our love.

The day was so lovely, just what we wanted. We added personal touches, like our desire for hand fasting. The rose garden was beautiful and the pictures are perfect.

The paperwork for both countries was also taken care of so all we had to do was honeymoon in beautiful Denmark. I highly recommend!

Nordic adventures helped us have our dream wedding. We eloped with the help of them on the beautiful island of Bornholm and we couldn't be happier. From the location they helped pick out, to the hotel, and the recommendations they gave us for our time afterwards on the island, everything was exactly like we hoped it was. Lena was always available via Text or phone and managed to pull all this of in record time.
We can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who is thinking about eloping, we definitely made the right choice.

We had a wonderful wedding, everything was well arranged from the beginning on. The contact was nice and Lena responded quickly. When it was our big day, they picked a nice spot on the beach without people in bading suits on the pictures. The day was perfect, thank you Lena!

Lena & her team made our dream come true! We got married in a beautiful little town, Maribo, and the whole experience was simply wonderful. We cannot express in words how friendly, caring, supportive and professional they were from the very beginning. They handled everything for us while we were in Romania. We had such an amazing wedding experience!

From the moment I contacted Lena from Nordic Adventure Weddings, it was more than I could have asked for. Lena helped us step-by-step in figuring out what we needed, when we needed it by, and submitting all the paperwork on our behalf. I only had to send her a few documents and the rest was all set. She was extremely communicative throughout the entire process and gave us plenty of time when she needed something from us. We were a little nervous about COVID but she reassured us that we would figure something out and, if not, they would reschedule everything for us. She even helped us with recommending a place to stay in Maribo.

Once we arrived, everything was super easy. We met the team at their headquarters so they could walk us over to town hall. The entire team was so fun and nice, it put us immediately at ease. They even filmed the whole thing for us so we could share it with family. Lena had brought a photographer who was super nice and we were able to take some really nice photos on our day. The ceremony was super easy, paperwork all ready for us, and they shared cherry wine, special to the region. They even got us our first wedding gift of regional treats.

Overall it was perfect and I would do it all over again in this same exact way. I can't thank the team enough for making a COVID-elopement so incredibly special!

Nach langem Warten und vielen Schwierigkeiten mit dem deutschen Standesamt haben wir uns zu einer standesamtlichen Trauung mit Hilfe von Nordic adventure weddings in Dänemark entschieden. Schon ab der ersten Anfrage war Lena sehr hilfsbereit, hat uns jede Frage kompetent beantwortet, ist mit uns jedes Dokument bis ins kleinste Detail durchgegangen und war nahezu rund um die Uhr telefonisch, per Mail und WhatsApp erreichbar. Sie half uns bei der Organisation unserer Anreise, hat uns am Standesamt abgeholt und war unsere Trauzeugin. Wir haben zwar nur die standesamtliche Trauung ohne zusätzliche Angebote gewählt, jedoch finde ich das Angebot was Trauungsort, Fotograf, brautstyling usw. betrifft echt super. Mein Mann und ich haben im Standesamt in Maribo geheiratet. Es ist klein und idyllisch, der Raum eher rustikal. Im Nachhinein hätte ich wohl doch lieber noch das eine oder andere Angebot in Anspruch genommen, zumal es letztendlich sogar günstiger wäre als in Deutschland. Wir haben letztlich nicht einmal ein Viertel von dem bezahlt, was es uns in Deutschland gekostet hätte, da wir beide einen Migrationshintergrund haben. Die Bezahlung per gesicherter online Transaktion war zudem sehr einfach. Wer sich für eine Hochzeit in Dänemark entscheidet, dem kann ich Nordic adventure weddings nur wärmstens empfehlen.

We decided spontaneously to get married and were not sure if we could get married due to all the Covid restrictions and the 5 weeks time frame but Lena and Carsten organized everything so the process went smooth and stressfree. The communication with Lena was great. She is very knowledgeable and would respond immediately and answer all my questions. She sent all the paperwork and keep us updated throughout the whole process.
Our wedding day was beautiful at the lake. They had lovely music and delicious champagne picked out.

My husband and I will always be grateful to Lena and her husband for helping us get married in such a beautiful place! From the very start all the way through to the day we got married, Lena communicated quickly and clearly with us and helped us get everything in order with as little stress as possible. We are an international couple (I'm American, my husband is German), so we were a bit overwhelmed by what to do to make sure we got all the correct paperwork for multiple countries, but it was obvious that Lena was very knowledgeable on this subject and supported us in filling out all the necessary paperwork. She then submitted it all and kept us informed as we waited for the license. It all was clear and fast! The day of our wedding was also just as lovely. We were able to have a nice, short ceremony by the water, with music and celebratory champagne for toasting after! Lena even took photos, which continue to bring us so much joy as we look back on that day fondly.
