I completed an unoccupied property insurance request on Go compare and received a text stating that a phone call would follow shortly which it did. Jordan Smith created my quite enquiry swiftly and competently. Having received the quote by email I was able to request a new quote as I realised I had undervalued the rebuild cost. Jordan kept in touch but wasnt' pushy' and I purchased the insurance as it was £80 cheaper than my renewal quote. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience to date with Nova Insurance

Poor cancellations policy, including for customers within the 14 day cooling off window. They refuse to discuss any of this on the phone. You have to complete a cancellation form and wait days to hear a reply. This form is not in your account portal but on a different website.
When they confirmed my cancellation they provided no information or indication that any further steps were needed.
I waited a week after submitting to see if my refund would come through. It was only after ringing and listening through all the options on the phone menu (refunds appears after cancellation, which, when you press it cuts you off) that I became aware that "refund" is another step. Again an online form. Again a wait of 2+ business days to hear back from them (I am currently waiting). An automated email says it will take 4-8 weeks to receive my refund. Very, very poor service. Ironically, they charge one of the highest admin fees on the market for this poor service.

Please beware of this company!!!! I had the most frustrating experience with Nova Insurance and found their customer service absolutely disgusting. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for your insurance needs. Save yourself the headache!

It did not take long to give the details for the insurance policy, it was quite painless with premiums at a reasonable price.

Contacted Nova recently regarding unoccupied house insurance. I was emailed first to say someone would be in touch and then Fae Tyler rang me. We discussed my requirements and Fae then gave me a number of different options regarding level of cover. She answered all my questions straight away so I found her knowledgable and the one question she didn’t know the answer to she went away and found the answer out. Fae then emailed me the quotes out. I didn’t take to policy out straight away but approached Fae by email and requested a policy booklet to take a look at before committing which she duly sent me. I then asked her to ring me the following Tuesday to finalise the policy which she did. To sum it up, Fae and Nova did what they said when they said and were polite and friendly. There are cheaper covers out there but also much more expensive ones and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them as a company. Lindsey

Choosing the right insurance for your property or business can be a lengthy and time consuming task. Not the most enjoyable experience. Worry no more. Nova Insurance will do all the hard work for you and come up with the best price. I know, because they did for me.
