Great lights just a problem with them.

Customer support is horrible at best. I have asked 2 questions, neither question has been answered or responded to. The lights itself are bright and beautiful as advertised. 1 major problem they come on at 3:01 am every morning unless I unplug them from the wall. I have downloaded the app trying to fix the problem didn't help. I even went 1 step farther I removed the battery from the remote and left it out and still didn't fix it. so unplug they go

Terrible company - STAY FAR AWAY!

Terrible company, who ignored my request to return four lights that were not the lights I ordered (I ordered six lights). I was forced to remove the charge through my credit card company, and will never do business with this awful company again. I will also warn other consumers about this fraudulent company!

The light fixtures perform poorly

The light fixtures perform, lighting output wise, as expected but the Bluetooth and Hub applications do not. I had purchased three fixtures and connecting two out of the three to the phone took numerous attempts. Then after connecting the three, although they were supposedly mesh one fixture would not remain connected and was intermittent. Because of that I then set up the hub. It did connect to my router but again the connection to the fixtures was intermittent with one fixture or another falling offline. I use these for holidays. I would like to consider year round landscape lighting but I was very disappointed in how intermittent these new fixture were. I have two older model rgb floods and they work better under control than do these new model mesh Bluetooth.

The Novostella 4 Pack Blink Lights, advertised at 25 watts, are relatively easy to use with an iPhone app for control. As a member of a three-piece stoner doom band (guitar, bass, and drums), I find these lights particularly useful for shows without stage lighting. We can simply set up the Blinks around us and select an auto lighting scene. These compact lights fit easily into a backpack and emit very little heat.

Terrible customer support

While the lights are good when they work, they are not IP66-rated in any way. IP66 means the product can withstand a sustained high-pressure jet of water. These floodlights cannot withstand slight exposure to grass irrigation systems or rain. Water leaks into them, and they then trip the circuit breaker.

Furthermore, customer service is abysmal, either through Amazon or directly through the Novostella website. Multiple attempts to contact Novostella have gone unanswered. I simply want to exercise my warranty and get replacement units for the ones that have leaked. I will then apply my own sealant to them to ensure they don't leak again.

EDIT: In response to Novostella's comments, I have emailed my receipts at least four times to support at novostella.net and have sent numerous other emails, pretty much once every month for a year now.

EDIT 2: In response to Novostella's comments, I have emailed my receipts more than half a dozen times, and have sent many more emails to their customer support, which have all gone unanswered. It's clear this company does not care about customer support or backing their products.

EDIT 3 - 20/10/2025: STILL WAITING. I have sent a dozen emails, have sent proof of purchase more than half a dozen times, and all my emails are still going unanswered. Novatella.net is still selling lights, and Novastella products are still available on Amazon, so they appear to still be in business, but continue to ignore customers who have received defective products. This is shockingly poor customer service and product representation, and they should be sued out of existence.

I paid for expedited shipping and I was told it would be delivered in one to three days it wasn't delivered for 2 weeks. No one would give me an explanation why. But at least they shipped the right parts
