BEWARE!!!

My experience with Oakwell Mods has been one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences I’ve ever had.

I ordered a blouse that was so ridiculously undersized it looked like it would fit a small child rather than the size I ordered. When I contacted customer service, they acknowledged the issue and promised to send me a replacement in the correct size while allowing me to keep the original item.

That sounded like great customer service—until they completely changed their story.

After months of waiting, I was suddenly told that a replacement was no longer available in my size. Instead of honoring their original commitment, they began offering partial refunds that kept changing. First it was 25%, then it dropped to 20%, all while expecting me to accept their mistake and move on.

The issue was never that I changed my mind. The issue was that Oakwell Mods failed to deliver what was promised and continually moved the goalposts every time I tried to resolve the matter.

A reputable company stands behind its products and honors its commitments. This company did neither. The constant back-and-forth, changing resolutions, and lack of accountability turned what should have been a simple exchange into a months-long headache.

If you’re considering ordering from Oakwell Mods, I strongly recommend reading reviews carefully and proceeding with caution. Based on my experience, I would not purchase from them again.

I have tried for 6 months to get a refund with excuse after excuse. They are now trading under The United Women website. Beware. The items are poorly made and while communication is ok you will just get the runaround. I paid $26 for returning the product,it was held in customs for 5 months and then sent back to me saying that when they tried to deliver it they listed the item as Gone Away. I was then told I l had to pay customs which my postal company said wasn't true as the item was to small and not high in value. So if you decide to buy from Oakwell Moda you have been warned.

They are scammers operating under the United shop.

They never reply to emails and the phone number is disconnected.

A month later item not received, put up a battle with PayPal to get my money back.

You cannot return dress.. they offer you 30% refund. The dress is flimsy.. no labels on it.. this company is a scam

THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. I HAVE CONTACTED THE BBB.
Chinese company with no returns - be warned
This is a Chinese company set up to look like a reputable online fashion retailer. Don't be fooled by the name and website.

Returns must be posted to China with 'low value' required on parcel so it is not stopped at Chinese Customs.
Company prefers to offer 10% refund in lieu of returns; though with persistence I got 25% refund. This seemed better than potentially no refund and no dress to sell on marketplace.
Even the customer service has an English name 'Lucinda Browne'. What a scam.

Bought a t-shirt from this store recently, it arrived on time and the quality worth the price. I've worn it a few times already and it's comfortable.

Some people are didn't had a good experience with them, if before purchasing I saw these reviews I wouldn't dare to buy from this website, but I have a good experience with them. overall everything went good didn't have any issue with at all.

Even a (1) is to much for this company Quality is terrible Trying to return item only answering me in another language Called several times No one answers. DO NOT BUY From this company. Will be contacting better business bureau and my bank.

Their filter system is a masterpiece of logic to be honest. I narrowed down a thousand options to five in seconds, making the final decision feel effortless instead of overwhelming .

Ordered a dress, one size up to ensure it fit as advertised - gold sequin dress with large velvet bow on the back. The dress that arrived wouldn't fit a 9 year old and instead of a velvet bow, there was a literal string. DO NOT TRUST

The dress was thinner than paper, shapeless and totally see through.
Disgusting. I took pics to show others here, there is no option to add them.

Stay clear of this company. Ordered a top which looked really nice on the website. Material is really cheap. Bad fit. Looks like it's been made in a real hurry. Larger than my size 12 and utterly poor quality. No garment label . Doesn't truly resemble image on the website. I won't bother even trying to return it as I don't trust they'd refund and quite frankly I don't want to waste my time. I say that because once my payment was processed, nothing. Had to chase for updates. Obviously made in a factory where quality and finish rates 0. As long as the garments are made as quickly as possible, rubbish. Waste of $59.99.

Ordered two garments neither of which fit and quality is rubbish. Emailed their support as directed to request a return label. They answered asking me to say WHY I was returning, which I already did in my first email. But I obliged and repeated myself. Now they’ve requested a photo of the garments I want to return. What rot, the pictures are plastered on the website plus in my confirmation emails. So now I’ve done that, and await the next development. Their return and refund promises are complete rubbish. How many more hoops do I have to jump through?

Now they want me to pay the postage to return the crap to China!!! This mob are RATBAGS STEER CLEAR OF THE THIEVES
