I bought a necklace for my daughter as a present. It was an expensive present but the necklace broke so wasn’t the quality I expected. The necklace is no longer available for a replacement and my daughter loves the necklace so didn’t want to return it for a refund. They have said I can only have a full refund if I return the necklace which they have said they can’t repair. I’ve been given a 50% refund which won’t cover the cost of the travel and repair. To receive this it took over a month, 6 emails and 3 phones calls. For a company with such a good reputation I’m shocked by their poor customer service. If I’m looking for high quality expensive jewellery for presents I won’t be using them again.

I have just purchased 3 clothing items from Liverpool Street store. After having watching the assistant screw up my dress she then continued to do the same with the top I’d purchased. I very politely asked her if she could fold instead of screwing it up, I received a very terse stare and she actually folded my top and jeans and put them in a bag, stuffed in the receipt and handed me the bag! Not a word from her!
I love Oliver Bonus
I hate the fact they can’t fold clothes (this seems to be a standard policy of screwing up clothes you buy) and object even more that you then experience the silent treatment if you dare ask for folded clothes! Rude!

I bought some sunglasses with a gift voucher and they broke. I couldn’t find the receipt. Within 2 days they had located my order and sent out a replacement pair.

Always a good experience shopping here, either in store or online! The one in store (particularly kingston) is always so nice! Their clothes collection are a dream come true for a small girl like me!
I purchased a dressing table, chest of drawers, and two bedside tables, I love the design, so very well made, but I had to contact the company because I had fly dirt on the dressing table and it actually melted the paint on the top, I am so disappointed, it has ruined it. The company have decided they will not do anything about it, I don't think this piece of furniture is fit for purpose as I'm afraid to use it as it marks so easily. I am hoping that they will review their decision and do something about the damaged furniture. I definitely wouldn't recommend this line of furniture at the moment.
I recently made a massive error and posted a Dr Martens parcel to Oliver Bonas by mistake (to cut a long story short, there was a mix up with QR codes).
Oliver Bonas, particularly Carly, were so helpful and managed to retrieve my parcel and sent it back to me with no charge.

I placed two online orders for click and collect at the Glasgow Byres Road store. I was surprised at how quickly they were available for collection! When I arrived at the store the staff as always were super friendly and helpful, I received my parcels with no issue, super easy!
One item I will have to return to the store as the size was too big, but no doubt I’ll end up purchasing more while I’m there as the shop always looks fantastic. Thank you!

Well, I bought the white dove of peace aromatherapy oil diffuser and my wife and I are absolutely glad we did the amount of mist coming out makes other oil diffusers pale into insignificance beautiful everybody comments that comes in our house and wants one
Like previous reviews, I have had the most positive experience dealing with OB’ Customer Service. There are so many other retailers that could learn so much from them. Charlotte was extremely helpful on every level. When you get great service, returns process and more importantly responsiveness(!) it simply makes you buy more from them. Can’t recommend enough.
They say that they have responded but they have not.
Not bowled over by the customer service at all. Also, their leather bags are mislabeled as they're plastic. I have never had dealings before, but signed up for the newsletter to get a 10% discount, as I have been asked to buy a very expensive birthday present. After signing up to get the 10% discount, and a bombardment of emails from them trying to flog me stuff, they're refusing a discount saying I'm a prior customer. Absolute nonsense.

Absolutely bowled over by the customer service!!! A lady called Holly dealt with my issue and went above and beyond in my opinion to help me out. I’ve been a fan of OB for years. I buy a fair amount of clothes from there, I have quite a few homeware items and jewellery and it’s one of my go-to’s if buying a gift for somebody but after todays experience, it’ll be my top company I’ll recommend. Whenever I go in store, staff are always friendly and polite too.
I’ve bought two Oliver Bonas dresses this summer and I love them both! The first was totally unplanned at the Victoria station branch but I simply loved them both design and the fabric. The second was online for store collection locally in Epsom. Staff are consistently friendly and the dresses are so well made! I’ve had lots of compliments :)
This has to be the most frustrating website I have ever used. I have a gift card for the Irish site which I have attempted to use several times. When I entered my shipping address, with Eircode, I was told there were no shipping options to this address. Beyond annoying. When I got in touch with OB I was told footwear can’t be shipped to Ireland because of customs restrictions! This is nonsense as I regularly buy footwear from UK and there are no customs implications for items costing less than €150. At least the policy should be pointed out to those of us using their Irish website.

Five stars is an understatement for the Oliver Bonas team in the Ealing Broadway branch. The team were friendly, helpful, and resolved my issue quickly and efficiently. I couldn't ask for better service. Eve took the time to help me find the perfect gift for my sister and navigate through the whole online ordering process so that I didn't need to stress about carrying heavy items home. I then had a problem with one of the Oliver Bonas products and again Eve and Maddy were there to listen to me and help with the issue and explain the situation to the store manager, Taylour. Not only did Taylour resolve the issue, she did so with such a warm and friendly smile. This team are amazing and clearly care about their customers. Thank you Ealing Broadway Oliver Bonas team and especially a huge thanks to Eve, Maddy and Taylor :-)

Took payment twice for online order and no delivery info so who knows when order and refund of extra money will come!
I bought a table online paid for it and it turns out paid for it twice.. spoke to my bank and they were the payments or any pending. Don’t worry only one will get taken check later in the day and of course both payments have gone through!
Got through to their customer services and they said oh yes it’s done taking the payment but not done the order the first time and then it’s done the order and take a payment again…
The guy was clear this happens! Maybe Oliver Bonas does this a lot but I’ve never seen it happen before— if there’s been a mistake in any payment to any other company like this it’s corrected before the money is actually taken, while it is in pending.
Refund is gonna take five days… Oliver Bonas will be collecting interest on my money while it’s not available to me despite possibility of instant refund; and absolutely nothing by way of compensation. To add insult to injury the guy hung up before even bother bothering to send me an email confirming that he had actually made a refund…
Meanwhile, no delivery tracking for the item I’ve paid for twice!
I won’t be ordering on line again!
Edit for reply: I’d already spoken to customer services before writing the review. I have now got acknowledgment of the items being sent to the courrier. Still no sign of the refund….

All round great experience shopping here. The clothes and accessories are really fun but well made and never trashy. The staff are super friendly, helpful and appear to love their jobs (other retailers take note!). Nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel that the whole thing is a treat. I had to return an item recently as it was too long, and the refund was in my bank in only two days (again other retailers take note!). Online orders arrive with astonishing speed if something is out of stock in store. I've actually never been in an OB shop without buying something ... I shop in the Chiswick and Richmond branches, and love them both. Well done, please keep it up!
