Order #318195 - Appalling Customer Service & Damaged Infant Formula
I ordered a tin of Neocate LCP specialist medical infant formula, which arrived damaged during transit. The tin sustained a deep structural dent located precisely on the lower metallic joint/seam at the bottom edge. Because of this structural damage on the bottom seam, a distinct and strong smell of formula powder can be clearly smelled from the outside, making the goods of unsatisfactory quality and completely unfit for purpose under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
The company formally admitted the transit damage via email, stating: "We acknowledge that the tin sustained a minor dent during transit." Yet, they refuse to issue a refund or a safe replacement. This matter has been officially reported to Citizens Advice (Ref: CCA-7402546). Absolutely shameful. Avoid this online pharmacy at all costs!
Unreliable online pharmacy
Received message 'Your Order is Shipped' contacted 5 days later and customer services said they were waiting for stock. No idea when they would receive it- Needless to say I cancelled the order and await a refund!

0 star – Misleading product listing and poor customer handling
I had a very frustrating experience with Online Pharmacy 4U.
The product page for Ovex clearly showed a “family pack” in the main image, which reasonably led me to believe I was purchasing a multi-tablet pack. However, I received only single-tablet packs.
The company’s response was to say I selected the “1 tablet” variant — but this completely ignores the real issue: how misleading the page is, especially on mobile. The “Add to Cart” button appears before the variant options are visible, and you have to scroll down to even see that there are different choices. This is very easy to miss, and the overall presentation strongly suggests you are buying the larger pack.
This is not just a small detail — it directly affects the purchasing decision.
Despite explaining this clearly, customer service refused to take any responsibility and would not cover return postage.
In my opinion, the combination of:
- Misleading product imagery
- Poor mobile layout
- Lack of clear variant visibility
creates a very unfair buying experience.
I would strongly advise others to double-check everything before purchasing, especially on mobile, as the way products are presented can be very confusing.
Extremely disappointing experience and not what I would expect from an online pharmacy.

Fantastic service, my order was acknowledged on the same day and the following day I received confirmation that the order had been sent to me. And yes I did receive it, well wrapped up and it came the next day so outstanding service throughout. I knew Online pharmacy was good, I've used them before and they were superb then too. An item you buy from them is always good but it's the colleagues who work for Online pharmacy that do all the work, and they do it brilliantly. Order arrived, but communication was contradictory
I placed an order on 21 February 2026, and it arrived on 28 February 2026. I want to be clear that delivery itself was not the problem.
The problem was the confusing emails I received after ordering.
After I placed the order, I sent proof of ID which already included my address.
After that:
I was asked to confirm my address again, which I did.
I was then told my address was not needed because the order had already been shipped, and I was given a tracking number.
A few days later, I was asked again to provide my address.
The company kept changing its position between:
“We need your address to ship your order”
and “Your order has already been shipped, so your address is not needed”
This went on for several days and appeared to involve different staff who were not communicating with each other.
When I raised this, I was later told it was due to a “system glitch”. While I accept the apology, this does not explain why I was still being asked for my address after being told the order had already been sent.
In short:
Product arrived ✔️
Communication was disorganised and unnecessarily stressful ❌
I hope the company improves its internal checks so customers are not repeatedly asked for the same information after being told it is no longer required.
I ordered 4 Contour Next blood test…
I ordered 4 Contour Next blood test strips, which arrived in good time but I failed to inspect them propely snd to my horror, they are not contour next and I cannot test my blood tonight. So have had to order with next day delivery. Very disappointed and now I have 3 plus the one box I opened tonight to extract a test strip only to discover the mistake
