Ordered a boxed set of dvd's. Wrong items in the box. After many conversations they finally decided that they cant find anyone to sort it out. These guys are a bunch of total amateurs pretending to operate a web shop.

Ordered a Simba mattress from Oxfam and despite several issues outside of Oxfam's control, the service was fantastic from the online team.
Numerous problems with the delivery partner (DPD) failing to deliver due to the size of the item, then arrived damaged. Oxfam were straight on the problem with Kev owning the issues and coordinating a quick resolution and replacement. All sorted promptly and a great item in the end, and supporting a good cause.

Simba mattress ordered a month ago, despatched but never delivered, DPD sent back to seller They refunded me as couldn't resend it but told me to order another one. I did, at this point £1000 out of pocket, three weeks later no delivery and had to chase the refund as that didn't go through either. I have now given up on ever receiving it.

Oxfam’s offer of the moment, pick three books and get 30% off, couldn’t understand why what ever I picked do not discount, finally found T&c’s (ridiculously hidden) clearly states this offer applies to secondhand books (well gosh I guess as you sell secondhand books) so why doesn’t it work? The exclusions are all rare books, antiquarian books and any collectible books, so most of the stock is not on the offer! Totally ridiculous! I can see how they get 2.2 on Trust Pilot, with how they run the books I think they should be very proud they are scoring over 2, as id score lower than 1 star if I could! Terrible Charity

Bought an item from Oxfam Online over a fortnight ago. Hasn't arrived. Been in touch three times and they generally reply but there's always an excuse. Am on the verge of cancelling the order and asking for a refund. Be very wary, the service is shaky at best and seems reliant on individual managers in individual shops parcelling up items and trotting off to the post office with them.

I received a FAKE football shirt. Post office won't process the return without a QR code which isn't available.
Disgusting fake shirt and I'm now left 75.95 out of pocket.

Trying to find parcel that has not tracked since 11th
June, phoned Oxfam online shop. Call handler
unpleasant, and seemingly quite happy to wait
for courier to get in touch, no mention of official
complaint to courier customer services.
Do not deal with this company if you are used to
quick delivery as you will probably be waiting a while,
even now do not know if goods will ever turn up,
delivery charge not cheap either, so beware before you
shop.

Bought items from the Henley books and music shop and were accurately described and packed well.

I volunteered at Oxfam a while back, it's probably been two months. It was at the Cranleigh shop near Guildford.

Everything was fine when I started working at the weekend with less people. Then I was placed with two older women that I found unfriendly to work with during the week. So I stuck to working at the weekend instead as it was less stress for me.

The last time I worked in Cranleigh was a month ago where I was placed with the same ladies I complained about before. I had a awful experience working there as they were very petty and controlling with how I was organizing things. It became abusive and it caused stress to my body and I had a seizure. It was ridiculous it was about a sizing cube that you place onto a hanger and put on the rail! Because my way was more time efficient!

They were just causing a fuss over nothing, it has totally put me off charity work if people are going to act up and behave this way.

They are under surveillance which is a nuisance because they are a mi5 suspect and personally they shouldn't be working there, they have been snooping through my business through MI5. They show no empathy working there and towards people outside a village lifestyle!

Complete waste of time I purchased some religious charms I have been waiting for them to be dispatched then to get a email 5 days later saying someone else brought them before me . Then I have to wait 3 to 5 days for a refund I wouldn't recommend buying from oxfam online .

Two packages from my order had been posted with no postage stamps or payment so I had to pay £14 to receive them. Another item was very badly described, I have had this problem before eg items described as being in very good condition when they really aren’t. I have bought some good items but Oxfam aren’t getting basic things right with their online store.

Edited to add - I did put in a complaint and the postage was refunded, I was also given a 10% discount code which tempted me to make another purchase, unfortunately one of the items I bought had a defective zip which wasn’t mentioned in the description. I may report this but it’s a lot of hassle.

Browsing the online Oxfam shop has just become very frustrating.I try to navigate back and forth and it becomes impossible to look at an item and then return smoothly to a list at the point of departure. Searching by genre, or by subject is no longer as helpful as it used to be. This has been not been an improvement.

I have purchased a few items from Oxfam shop on line and today received a beautiful waste coat,great price and its unsual and the communication with the shop was excellent (based in Shirley),In the past I have purchased a leather jacket £35 another bargain. Will continue to shop with them

Ordered an antique ceramic jelly mould. It arrived broken due to insufficient packaging - small thin box, no bubblewrap, just thin tissue paper. Emailed them to tell them what happened with a photo. They INSISTED that it had to be returned so that I'd get a refund. This would have meant a five mile round trip to our post office plus I would have had to pay for parking. They would not give me a tracked return label, so if the return had gone missing in the post they would not have refunded of course. All that would have happened is that the sad broken rare jelly mould would be thrown away, Oxfam would be out of pocket with a bad review and no more purchases from me and I would have had to pay more just to get a refund. Stick to eBay and Etsy!

I too would rather not be leaving a bad review for a charity. The book I paid for could not be found! These things happen but, since I ordered two other books within the one postal charge, I immediately tried to cancel my order. These books are available cheaper with faster delivery elsewhere. The customer service emails were polite and quick, thank you but I am now waiting for one of the books to arrive so that I can cancel both. This means a trip to the post office. I shall use my regular online charities in future.

SO RUBBISH!! GOT 2 COMPLETELY WRONG ITEMS OUT OF 4!!!! WHAT THE HELL!!??

Feels unpleasant to leave a bad review for a charity but am utterly exasperated. Spent hours yesterday scrolling through their products before carefully selecting unique Christmas gifts for loved ones. Tried to pay and the problems began. Basically, Oxfam won't let me automatically select the correct delivery and billing address as it has the country wrong on the automatically address and if you try to change it, it isn't picked up when you come to pay. Finally rang them today to try and sort it and, aside from apologising, the girl on the phone couldn't have been less helpful. She couldn't take payment over the phone and didn't offer to take my details to look into what's going wrong and come back to me to sort it out. All she said was that she would mention to IT as other people had experiences issues paying today. How does that help? She didn't even take a note of the address! I would advise anyone thinking of shopping through Oxfam online not to waste your time and energy.

Prices are just utterly all over the place. Two identical books can have a £25 price difference. Niche titles which don't usually have much interest are stupendously, staggeringly overpriced. Books are not very well described, one I purchased that looked in the photo like a weighty tome turned out to be barely more than a pamphlet.

Had to pay extra for courier service due to the value of the item, but Oxfam did not bother sending the courier my house number or street name, so the equally awful courier just dropped it off to someone else. Hope it has my name on it and whoever has it knows me.

I had a very bad experience. I had seen a nice jacket on Oxfam online but I wanted some more information about it. I was told by customer service to contact the store, so I emailed the store but I got no response. I decided to order the jacket anyway. The order went through and the money was deducted from my account I even got a dispatch email. It had been more than a week and I still haven’t received the package. So I decided to call the shop.

When I called the shop the manager was trying to help me out. When I asked what happened to my order. She said there had been a mistake and when I emailed the store asking about the jacket, they decided to send the jacket to a different store. But still processed the transaction and deducted the money.

The manager promised that she will get the jacket back for me, but I got a email today saying it’s been sold in a different store.

I’m Very very disappointed. Never gonna shop here again.
