Interesting situation i found myself in today.

Went to drop off a parcel to the OOHPod in Limerick, Dock Road Lidl.
I was dropping off UPS parcel, added in the tracking code so a locker would open ( the scanner never works) and a door has opened with a parcel already in there!
( I have no idea was that being delivered or waiting to be collected?!?!?!)

Like i was sending something off and i could have just take someone`s parcel, just like that? Not god enough...

I get, the system is automatic and so on, but, i didn`t feel very safe leaving my parcel there after this.

We do make a clear effort to communicate our storage timeframes. On our website, within the bundle descriptions, we explicitly state: “Your parcel stored safely in a Pod for 48hrs.” In addition, once a parcel is delivered, customers receive both a text message and an email confirming storage and advising that there is a 48-hour collection window. A further reminder is also sent after 24 hours to highlight that 24 hours remain.
Based on this, we do feel the information is communicated clearly, and this is the first time we’ve received feedback suggesting otherwise. That said, we appreciate you raising it and will continue to review how we communicate this to ensure it is as clear as possible for all users.

I find OOHPod very convenient especially for some high-value deliveries recently. It’s great to know they are secure until I collect them

This is a great service

This is a great service, I'd be lost without it tbh. My deliveries are waiting safely for me when I get home from work. I have also used one of the lockers in NI to get something from Argos (who don't send to Ireland anymore) and I found it dead handy. I would love if they put more in my area (Rathmines) as the locker at Tesco is getting very busy.

I wish I had read the reviews before…

I wish I had read the reviews before using this atrocious service. Advertised as a service that delivers packages from UK to Ireland. Package arrives and they won't deliver to Ireland, try to contact their customer service but only a chat bot. I've swwent countless emails which have all been ignored, I've no way of collecting parcel, no way of contacting anyone, but they'll charge my card every day that the parcel is in a different country. DONT USE

EDIT : I'm editing as the company replied. I have sent 6 emails with screenshots to the customer service address given, between the date of delivery and today.

The company then responds 23 days after the original complaint and 12 days after I reviewed them on Trust Pilot. This response is the one above, I've yet to hear anything regarding Delivery.

DONT USE.

Note for OOHPOD - Instead of advising the customer that they 'dont understand' the service, perhaps read and reply to your customer service emails.

OOHPod provides customers with access to locker locations in Northern Ireland, which can be used as a UK delivery address. However, we do not transport parcels from the UK to the Republic of Ireland, as this would require customs processing.

We’re also sorry to hear about your difficulty reaching our support team. That’s not the experience we aim to provide. As well as web chat, we offer email and telephone support.

If you’re able, we’d appreciate it if you could point us to the advertisement you mentioned, as we take any potential confusion seriously and would like to investigate further.

Sent parcel to a locker that as it…

Sent parcel to a locker that as it turns out is not even publicly accessible. No warning that this is the case at any stage. Email asking for help just to be told not to use this locker. Parcel trapped with 0 help from customer service and now I've lost 60 euro.

The worst company ever

The worst company ever. I was out of country and couldn't collect my parcel on time. I contacted their customer service, and they're the worst too. They don't know what they're doing, the language they're using is not nice and their guidance is not clear!

For clarity, parcels that are not collected within 48 hours are not removed, the collection window is simply refreshed every 48 hours, allowing you additional time to collect. If you’re unable to collect the parcel yourself, we recommend asking a friend or family member to assist and avoid being charged again. Alternatively, it’s perfectly fine to leave the parcel in the locker until you’re ready to retrieve it.
We were also surprised to hear your comments regarding our customer service. We are a small team and place a strong emphasis on being helpful and courteous in all of our communications. If you’re willing, we would really appreciate more detail on your experience so we can look into this further.

Terrible company!!

Terrible company!!! Stay away!!!
I am an online seller. On March 12th, 2026, I dropped off a parcel at UPS Access Point™ at OOHPOD ATHLONE (LIDL), DUBLIN ROAD, ATHLONE, WESTMEATH N37NN92. Today is March 25th, 2026 (almost two weeks later) and UPS courier still hasn't collected the parcel. It appears the parcel locker is out of service, with my parcel still inside. UPS refused to accept the complaint because, as they claim, they can't collect the parcel from the locker. OOHPOD claims there's a power issue with Lidl. Lidl claims they have nothing to do with it. No one knows who should be handling this or when the parcel locker will be fixed. The parcel should have arrived to the recipient by now, but it hasn't even been shipped yet. Because of OOHPOD, I'm losing customers, money, and my good reputation.

Safe for post NOT

Safe for post? Nope. Had a gift delivered to the value of 200 euro, it was signed for. Did not receive my notification so went to office in Jonesborough, cant be found. Told me they were checking CCTV, waited OVER AN HOUR to be told they cant find it and contact customer support for a refund. They never even checked the cameras as I asked before I left. So I stood around for absolutely no reason wasting my time.
No mention of contacting me if it's been found. Mentioned it could have been stuck to another package that was collected already. Didn't seem to care at all, just kept saying it was mindblowing.

While it's not too bad for receiving…

While it's not too bad for receiving parcels, sending is really bad service. Dropped the parcel on Friday in Tyrellstown locker, today is Tuesday and it s still sitting there. Totally disappointed, won't use that service again👎

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Package was delivered on the Tuesday.

Got an email Wednesday saying I have 24 hours to collect.

Go to location and open hatch. Nothing there.

Help line is an Irish Mobile.
Lol to that

Can u get through? Of course not.

Email them to say my package was not there.

Reply: please check with your courier.

Then I get another email of them.

"Your code is expired. Package is been re processed and u will be sent new code "

and of course.

"You will be charged a fee."

Still no code.

Email them again

Reply: Ignore that email it's a automatic email.

Summary:
I have been charged for using one storage unit that was never used.

Im also been charged penalty as my "package" was never collected.

Package is still missing

Customer care, possibly the worst. They just fob u off and reply hours after each email.

Office closed before closing time

After emailing to confirm whether their systems were up and running before driving in an orange weather warning to pick up a parcel, I got here 20 minutes before they were supposed to close to find the office shut completely.

This is the second time ive showed up to the office being shut. First time I went with the yodel email telling me they were open till 7 to find out they changed their time to 6. Maybe make sure yodel aren't telling people to come up till 7.

This time theyre closed 20 minutes before they said they would. It only took me 30 minutes from his last email correspondence confirming that the system was up and running to get here

Completely wasted time, petrol and my patience dealing with this company.

Even trying to get a response to a simple question of are your systems up and running got me a go around of him telling me what I already knew. To use my barcode to collect. When I asked again if the systems are up and running with the storm (the last time there was a storm we were informed bad whether can shut down their ability to scan out parcels so wanted to check before making the drive) I got a snarky "i already responded to that email reply" even though he in fact hadnt. Ridiculous.

I saw four other people try to enter the office while I was sitting in my car only for them to also have to turn around after realising it had shut early with no notice so I am not the only person who was inconvenienced.

Extremely Disappointed with UPS OOHPOD…

Extremely Disappointed with UPS OOHPOD Service

I attempted to return a high-value parcel to Spain through UPS using their OOHPod service. My package has been sitting in the locker since 23 January, despite receiving daily assurances that the issue would be resolved. As of 3 February, my parcel remains uncollected.

Throughout the past week, I’ve been repeatedly promised a swift resolution, but these promises have been empty. Not only am I now going to miss the required delivery date, but I have also wasted significant time and effort.

This has been a very frustrating experience, and if I could, I would give UPS and OOHPod zero stars.

Outstanding Customer Service!

I recently used OOHPod for the first time and made a rookie mistake - I had my parcel addressed using my name rather than my OOH ID. This meant that when the Royal Mail delivery arrived, OOHPod couldn't match it to my account since they had several customers with the same name.
When the tracking showed delivered but I hadn't received any notification from OOHPod, I used their online chatbot to raise a query. Within minutes, a real person had picked up my ticket and was in touch asking for details. From my initial chatbot submission at 10:28 to having the issue fully resolved and my parcel ready for collection was approximately 20 minutes!
The support team were friendly, efficient, and took the time to explain what I'd done wrong so I'd know for future deliveries. They quickly located my parcel, added my OOH ID, and had it stored in the locker ready for me to collect.
For anyone new to the service: make sure to include your OOH ID on the delivery address rather than just your name - though as the team reassured me, most customers simply use their name without any issues.
Highly recommend OOHPod for parcel deliveries. I made an error, but it's how a company handles these situations that counts - and OOHPod absolutely delivered on customer service!

First time using the service and already issues

Used to have issues with deliveries to my house being left in insecure locations and thought I would try this service to avoid any issues going forward. Well, I was supposed to receive my first delivery to the OOH Pod today and instead I received an email to say there was a problem with my delivery. Already regretting that I prepaid for a bundle to save some money on this. Wish now I had read the reviews before signing up.
