Orchard Home Surveys offered a fantastic, professional and personal service that I would reccommend to anyone. We were quoted a highly competitive price, the survey was booked in a few days. Our surveyor Chris phoned us on the day with a summary of his findings and a full report was provided just a few days after. Very knowledgable, friendly and informative service.

I had a home buyers report/ survey carried out on a property I am buying.
The service from first contact with …. Vicki I think her name was to the completion of the survey. The surveyor called me and talked through the results in layman’s terms. This was so helpful as it clarified all my questions with Chris.
This company really offers a personal touch. Chris has also offered his support if I didn’t understand any of it.

Me and my brother are first-time buyers, so are fairly new to many aspects of property purchase. Chris Tucker was incredibly understanding, reassuring, and informative along every step of the journey, and made us feel more than confident in his expertise.
The initial booking for the survey was seamless and OHS handled everything for us, arranging the appointment with the sellers, all whilst keeping us constantly in the loop.
The survey report was not only thorough, but it gave every piece of information to us in a way that made Chris’s extensive knowledge come across as simple and clear. He even took the time to arrange a meeting with us where he ran us through the report and broke-down every layer in detail, whilst answering all our questions - including much-appreciated advice and tips on maintaining aspects of the property after we obtain it.

As first time buyers I had no clue where to start when selecting who to undertake our survey. After weighing up my options I’m so glad we used Chris. There was a personal touch rather than just feeling like “another client.” Before instructing, Vicki was amazing on the phone and really reassured me, explained the process and got us fitted in at the earliest opportunity. After the visiting the property Chris called and explained his initial thoughts so clearly and the report was with us the next day! Would 100% recommend Orchard Homes.

10/10 for both communication and speed of service! As a first time buyer it's an added stress to have no experience or really know what to but but the communication from Chris and the team took a lot of that stress away. They stayed in contact updating me without needing prompting each step, letting me know when it was booked, a phone call immediately after the visit to the property and the report came through a lot quicker than the expected time. I would feel confidant recommending Orchard to anyone.

A very friendly and positive experience from start to finish. After a bad experience with another surveyor, Vicky from Orchard Home Surveys was happy to help and accommodated our Level 2 Homebuyer survey quickly, chasing up responses from our estate agent when needed and keeping us in the loop. As soon as the survey was complete, surveyor Chris called to run through the main issues identified and answered any questions we had. The report was delivered earlier than expected and was very thorough, detailing issues, their likely causes and how they can be rectified. A very positive experience overall, would recommend to anyone in need of a survey.

I was very pleased with the comprehensive survey report given on the property I wish to purchase and which highlighted issues that could be of concern and gave advice on what might be required to remedy these.

Having had a home buyers survey carried out on a previous property we purchased (with a different company), it was very hard to understand, minor issues were exaggerated, and we were unable to have a simple conversation with the surveyor for clarification on some matters.
It was like a breath of fresh air being able to speak to Chris directly, and we feel confident to proceed with our purchase.

Chris and the team were super helpful and friendly from the outset. Really great communication throughout the whole process and really detailed report from Chris alongside a phonecall. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment I booked Chris, we were regularly updated. Chris called us soon after the survey was undertaken and in language we could understand took us through the main elements of his findings prior to the full report. This took place after hours and Chris reiterated he was available to answer any further questions. The report itself was extremely thorough and especially considering the findings, turned out to be exceptional value for money. I would highly recommend Orchard Homes surveys and will highly likely use them again ourselves in the future.

From requesting the survey, booking a visit, then receiving a phone call prior to the report to explain all findings and Chris's recommendation, it all happened within 2 weeks time in a very professional way. Chris was very helpful in explaining terminology that I couldn't understand, what do they mean and what is the impact of them.
Overall I'm very satisfied with the service. very high value for money.

Really attentive and approachable staff offering a high level service at a competitive price. the level 2 survey we had done was produced to a high standard with a good degree of professionalism. The surveyor called us on the day of the survey to give us the headlines and the survey was produced about a week later. the aftercare has been really good too and despite the fact that we have not had to the staff at orchard have continually made themselves open to inquiries and conversations

Had a very good experience using this firm. First time buying a house and they were very quick to set up an appointment with my estate agent, although there was a bit of miscommunication on the estate agents part. And from booking them to paying them to getting the survey report email back was 10 days whether that's good or not I can't comment but seems pretty good to me.

Chris went over and above. Requested a homebuyers report through a comparison site and was inundated with offers. Orchard Home Surveys were one of the many. I sent an email enquiry about the reports that they produce and was pleasantly surprised by promptness of reply. Instructed Chris who arranged access and carries out survey. Same day received confirmation by phone that survey had been done and his main findings was discussed. Full and comprehensive report received within the stated 3 days of survey. Took a couple of days to read and digest report and emailed Chris about a couple of points for clarification. Chris telephoned again to answer our queries which was appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend Orchard Home Surveys as we felt that they went above and beyond what we would reasonably expect from them. Thank you Chris and team.
