Extremely happy with the results of my bilateral lens replacement surgery which was carried out over a two week period by Mr Jenyon and his team.
During my consultation all of the staff were kind, caring and supportive and Mr Jenyon advised on what my options were for the outcome I wanted.
Following post surgery all staff continued to support and I highly recommend Mr Jenyon and his team.

The Paragon Clinic is located in a small neighbourhood centre, just outside Shrewsbury. There is a small supermarket, cafe, flower shop and a number of health practices. There is plenty of parking and a bus service. The Paragon Clinic, itself is modern with all professional and admin staff of the highest quality. Friendly, helpful and reassuring. The initial consultation is free, very thorough and detailed. I met Mr Jenyon "eye-to-eye" and he was unhurried and answered all questions. The actual surgery, some weeks later, was painless and exciting. Of course I was nervous but I was offered a relaxing tablet to be taken before surgery. The follow up telephone calls and then examination were equally thorough. Throughout the whole process I never felt pressured. I was treated like "family".

I was referred to The Paragon Clinic in Shrewsbury by my optometrist after he had diagnosed a cataract in my right eye. The cataract was preventing me from enjoying my hobbies of photography and astro photography. After the referral I was seen very promptly by Mr Jenyon and his excellent clinical staff and the cataract removal procedure was carried out within a couple of weeks. I was especially reassured when I discovered that Mr Jenyon had been trained by and worked closely with the leading opthalmic consultant who had saved the sight in my other eye following a serious retinal detachment. A very professional and caring service. I would particularly like to thank Mr Jenyon's specialist opthalmic nurse Morag who was especially caring and reassuring.

I’m incredibly grateful to Mr. Jenyon and his team at Paragon Clinic. The lens replacement surgery has truly been life-changing. I felt completely safe and supported throughout every step of the process. Mr. Jenyon took the time to explain the procedure as he performed it, which reassured me and made the experience far more comfortable.

Nothing but the highest praise for all the wonderful staff and consultants at Paragon. I was so squeamish and frightened but they treated me with such kindness and clear explanations from Mr Jenyon for the two cataract operations in Autumn 2023 and then Mr Sadhav for the ptosis treatment in February 2025 (after 3 cancellations on the NHS). Everyone is so friendly, professional and well organised. It's a very welcoming practice and you feel safe and cared for. So very big thanks to you all.

My Paragon experience started with a very friendly and helpful lady on Reception to arrange the appointment for laser treatment, and continued with all the staff I met on the day who instantly put me at ease.
I felt entirely comfortable and extremely satisfied with everything at Paragon.

It took a few months to get the final good results of which I was aware but the initial swelling and bruising settled very quickly and even my friends do not know I have had it done.

My experience of having cataract surgery at the Shrewsbury clinic was extremely caring , kind and professional from Sarah the receptionist to the staff nurse , 3 other nurses and the consultant Tom.

Everything from making your initial appointment to treatment and follow up appointment is handled in a friendly, professional and empathetic manner. The staff can't do enough for you. They really put you at ease and make you feel comfortable. I would use Paragon Clinic again in a heartbeat!

The staff here are exceptional. The consultant and nurse cannot be faulted. The reception staff are also a credit. Communication is clear and also friendly. Nothing is too much trouble.The facility is immaculate and conveniently located. Wonderful treatment and so supportive. They make having a difficult treatment a much more comfortable experience. So caring too. They even drove me and my car home over 30 miles to allow me to get to my husband in hospital rather than wait for the drops to wear off! I cannot praise them highly enough. I would not hesitate to recommend.

The service and care I received was second to none. Everyone who worked at the Paragon Clinic were extremely professional and put me at ease immediately. The process of lens replacement was explained in detail and all options were discussed. I have worn glasses, for distance, most of my life and the first time I looked into the distance and saw the horizon, without my glasses, was incredible. From the ease of location to the excellent attention, care and professional service I received from first consultation to final procedure everything was excellent. As a person who had worn glasses for 60 years and no longer needs them the only thing I regret is that I didn't go sooner. Think of the savings I could of made on all those designer spectacles and contact lenses !!! My eyesight now is like having received a wonderful gift

Excellent treatment from start to finish and all the staff were so friendly and supportive. I was very nervous about the procedure and the help and reassurance I received from the staff in general, even to a phone call the following day to ensure that everything had gone well. Dr Jenyon was very kind and talked me through the procedure as it was happening. The results have been amazing and oncreased my confidence.

I would recommend Paragon to anyone with cataract problems - have had both of mine done - all the staff and Mr Jenyon were most helpful and couldn't do enough to reassure me. The outcome is that I now have the best vision I have had in a very long time with no need to wear glasses for anything!

I had a lens replaced to enable me to throw away my glasses. At my initial visit it was suggested that I try a contact lens for a few weeks to ensure my brain could cope with blended vision. That worked perfectly so the lens replacement was scheduled for a date which suited me. The operation went very well and I no longer need glasses. I was delighted by the service I received from the consultant, nurse, and all the support team and am recommending them to everyone who asks!

I had been on a waiting list for some time for Cataract Surgery. The eye was getting steadily worse. A friend Recommended Paragon. I rang them on a Monday and was immediately offered an appointment on Wednesday. The staff and Consultant were so helpful and reassuring and I new I was in safe hands. I was told the Cataract was bad and was offered surgery for a week on Saturday. I arrived at 12.15 and Left the clinic by 1pm. at all times I fell secure. The results are truly amazing and I would recommend them to anyone who needs treatment. Thank You!
