Endlich habe ich es mal gewagt, eine Platine im bekannten OpenSource-Programm KiCAD zu erstellen. Schnell wurde ich durch ein Addon des Programms auf PCBWay aufmerksam, und noch schneller war die erste Platine bestellt. Abends am 1.4.2023 (nein, kein Aprilscherz :) ) wurde bestellt, und schon weniger als zwei Wochen später kamen die fünf Platinen bei mir an.
Die Qualität der Platinen ist erstaunlich, so wie auch der günstige Preis staunen lässt.
Leider hatte ich bei der "schnellen" Erstellung in KiCAD einen Fehler gemacht, diesen Fehler kann und möchte ich aber nicht dem Unternehmen PCBWay ankreiden.
Die nächste Bestellung mit fehlerfreiem Layout ist schon abgesendet.
Die Kommunikation mit den Mitarbeitern ist sehr freundlich und professionell.

I have ordered from PCBway many times in the past year and recently I have also started to collaborate with them thanks to a sponsorhip program. I have never had any problem with their products, email communication is very fast and they have always been ready to help.

I attempted to place an order -- it was to be one of many if the experience and pricing proved out -- but met with massive frustration trying to make the service rep understand my requests and come to an agreement. My requirements were simple: I produced an order for a 100mm x 100mm board that was originally a panelized 2x2 circuit. When they understandably increased the price to accommodate this, I told them I did not need the scoring done and just wanted a simple two-sided board -- and I would do the separation myself.

On the order i had selected a more reasonable and less costly means for shipping (China to U.S.) but it was up-priced to their more expensive shipping methods and I had no ability on their website to change it back.

After two days of trying to get them to understand, I finally canceled the order without paying.

Frankly, I will probably not do business with them. Their web site is incredibly bad and their support cannot understand the requests and messages I sent them.

I've made several orders through these guys for small prototype PCBs and a few full assembly jobs and it's been a great experience in general.

The customer support really stands out - their people actually look at what you submit, actively ask questions if something doesn't appear to make sense, and are just generally very helpful.

When doing PCB runs I have had few to no problems, their process is essentially perfect there.

Assemblies can be a bit more problematic. I've had an issue or two with minor mistakes on their end. However they have always rectified these problems for me or refunded things that couldn't be fixed.

In one instance, they mistakenly ordered the wrong part and it would've caused a long delay to replace it. I noticed this during the engineering review of the first board to be manufactured. The person handling the assembly worked closely with me on a compromise to get it done quickly and the end product worked perfectly.

while I was working on my FPGA and microcontroller project I found the complex circuit and there is no way to reduce the integration, then I found PCBWay, I ordered my prototypes, stencil and 3d printed cased from them. The service is fast, compromising and best offering. So reduced my overall efforts and I completed the project in given timeline.

For some reason, every time I try PCBway I end up paying much more than what I would have paid to JLCPCB or some others. My last order was delayed for several weeks, and when I received it it was not manufactured properly. They charged me extra to redo the same boards, although it was their own fault.
After several past attempts with similar experience, I don't think I will be a returning customer. Taking my business elsewhere

Quality is not right and several aluminium pieces were delivered defective. It was bored into the aluminium profile where it should not be. That should not be possible. The step files are all perfect. Tolerances are not correct. The best thing is that the parts have a kind of rust layer and this with aluminium. How is that possible? Aluminium does not rust because it does not contain any iron. Absolutely incomprehensible. The support is a joke and funnily enough my part was returned by DHL before it could be exported from Hong Kong. Something must be wrong with the papers. I recommend everyone to avoid PCB Way! It is dubious and absolutely unsuitable for CNC prototyping.

First time customer, but read many reviews on-line, so I trusted them to produce 3 different PCB's. A couple were just double sided A5 sized boards but the 3rd one was 6 layer 2/3 of an A4 sheet, so all sizeable boards.
The first two went in and were shipping within 2 days. the 6 layer board had a query on the stencil sizing / cost which was fixed within 24 hours. The last board finished production on Sunday and was with me by Wednesday, so turn-around was good.

The boards look good and are really nicely finished. the traces are clean, the silk screens are clear, board edges are smooth and the stencils seem fine.

The only strange thing is that all parts come on separate shipments. What's wrong with sticking the stencils back to back and placing the PCB's inside the frame to reduce the chance of them going different routes during shipping. Surely this would cost less too?

I will use PCBWay again.
