Great Customer Service

I've always used Perkbox through my workplace to get discounts. When I had accidentally placed a duplicate order, the customer service team responded really quickly to my query and resolved it in the time frame provided. Very impressed and appreciative of their help.

Several major issues with Perkbox:

Several major issues with Perkbox:

1. You points expire without warning, I believe it’s 12 months, it could be 6, I’m not even sure because they just disappear.

2. If your company leaves Perkbox you lose access without warning to your account and all the points earned (or bought via rewards) literally thousands of points and hundreds worth of employee earned (paid for) coins gone.

3. Most of the perks are freely available online via many other means.

4. Their customer service is terrible. You’ll wait a long time for replies that just leave a bad taste in your mouth.

5. If anything goes wrong and you need to refund something… yeah, nah, that money is gone and you got a voucher you can’t use.

6. Half the time the site has errors when you want to buy a voucher so you can’t even use the perk when you need to.

If you’re a company reading this, pick any benefit you can find that isn’t this company.

RE: Perkbox’s reply, this is all within the realms of their control. They apologise like it’s the end user’s fault but all of it could be easily fixed and improved by them… it’s the same reply to every call out of their shady practices “oh sorry but you need to read small print there’s nothing we can do” :D

Thanks for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. I’m really sorry to hear about your experience and the issues you’ve raised.

To address your points, Flexi points do have a 12-month expiry date, but we always send reminder emails well in advance so members have plenty of notice to use them. I’m sorry if you didn’t see those, as we understand how frustrating it is to lose points you’ve earned.

When an employer leaves Perkbox, access to the platform and any associated balances are forfeited. We always recommend using remaining points before the account closes, but I completely understand this can feel abrupt if you weren’t aware. Usually, a 90-day cancellation period applies.

I also want to apologise if our customer service didn’t meet your expectations. We always try to get back to our customers as quickly as possible, and we are always working to keep our wait times as low as we can while we are approaching a busy time of year for our team.

Your comments about our perks, site performance and refund process have been shared with the relevant teams so we can continue improving the overall experience.

Mayra was a star

I was having IT issues with one of my redemptions and Mayra has been so helpful and supportive through the full process. She has managed to refund my rewards to allow me to access another service. I really can't thank her enough :)

I no longer use the points system as…Disappointed - Perks Have Declined Significantly.

I no longer use the points system as the available perks have become really poor quality. The only perk that made the scheme worthwhile was the Nero vouchers, and they've now been removed. This has made the entire rewards program much less attractive. Not good at all.

BE WARNED

Flexible points expire silently. My points have been draining away for seven months without warning. The biggest issue is perks are nothing special and with research you will find deals that are equivalent or better. For example many attractions offer family tickets which are better value than a perk price. Often any savings are unclear, or a retailer might 'run out' of digital discounts. BE WARNED - using perkbox to get a discount removes your ability to get your money back in the event something goes wrong. Waste of time, would not recommend

Great "help" Service

Great "help" Service

I use Perkbox for a lot of my online shopping and in a few months have saved close to £100. Once you get used to the app, it is relatively easy to buy vouchers and pay using them, particularly if you save your favourite stores and your card details. I have only had one incident which failed.

Payment was taken but there was a glitch (I was on a train so not sure if poor signal affected it) and I never received my voucher. I messaged the help messaging service and within the hour they had responded with an apology and processed my refund. It was dealt with quickly and appropriately. I was very impressed as often these days you end up talking to a bot and going around in circles or waiting ages for a human to respond.

I had a very stressful BUT…

I had a very stressful and disappointing experience with a voucher purchase on Perkbox, but the way Nicola Bell from the Customer Service team handled my case completely changed how I felt about it.

She was patient, kind, and clear in her communication, and she supported me from start to finish until the issue was resolved fairly. While I still think the platform experience itself needs improvement, Nicola’s professionalism and care truly stood out.

Thank you, Nicola, for going the extra mile.

Outstanding customer service

Had an issue with a large amount of money I had put against a voucher that did not work! I contacted Perkbox and spoke with Nicola, who helped me through the whole process to a resolution. It was really great that I was communicating with the same person and she went above and beyond to keep me in the loop - an outstanding customer service experience!

Excellent Support & Seamless Experience

I recently encountered a bug on the platform and reported it to the support team. I was genuinely impressed by how swiftly and efficiently the issue was resolved. The customer support team was responsive, professional, and quick to act.

The website itself is incredibly user-friendly. Purchasing coupons and converting them into digital gift cards is a seamless and straightforward process. The platform is intuitive, and navigating through the offers is easy. In case of any issues with the listed offers, the support team is always quick to step in and assist.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the platform’s functionality and the excellent customer service. Keep up the great work!

Purchased a £23 Matalan e-voucher

Purchased a £23 Matalan e-voucher. They can't use it in store as the information on the voucher sent was incorrect. So I'm £23 down and Matalan say that someone used it the pay for £20 of goods. Contacted customer service and no help whatsoever and while I was waiting was cut-off (intentionally I think) I called back and they looked it and said that there was nothing they could do and when I replied where was it purchased and by whom they couldn't tell me and them cut me off again! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHAT A JOKE!
Matalan, I WANT my money back!
