I do wish there were lower cost options because I think my drive was in perfect condition, it was just locked making it an "easier" recovery, whereas they probably have to fix damaged/broken drives with much more precision. Can't put a cost on 500GB of 40 years of MEMORIES though right!!?!

I would highly recommend them if you ever find yourself in the unfortunate situation of needing to recover data from a damaged hard drive or memory card.
