Installation team were great
Installation team were great - good communication. Office admin not so much, got the address wrong on 3 occasions, didn't communicate correct info. to the installation team - not enough materials initially. Though the end result looks great.

We’re genuinely sorry for the issues you experienced with the administration and communication. On this occasion, the initial survey information provided to us by our outsourced surveying company contained incorrect details, which unfortunately resulted in the address being recorded incorrectly and the team not receiving all of the correct information. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been.
The issue with the materials was on us. This was caused by an incorrect measurement during the survey, which meant the installation team did not initially have everything they needed. We take full responsibility for this, and the surveyor involved will be receiving further training to ensure this does not happen again.
Although we’re pleased the end result looks great, we recognise that the journey to getting there should have been much smoother. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Jack the surveyor who visited our…
Jack the surveyor who visited our property had a vast and in-depth knowledge of the solar industry which actually provided us with assurance & confidance. He was able to answer all of our questions with no hesitation. Jack was a pleasure to meet and not at any point did we feel pressured into anything. He understood all of our needs and situation, he is an excellent surveyor and sales person. I believe this to be a credit to him and his company and he should be proud of this.
I would have no hesitations in recommending PlanetBloom and Jack O’Shea to anyone. They provided excellent service from start to finish.

Pushy sales tactics and inflated quote
Had a survey/costing meeting. Very pushy sales techniques and very over priced quote. The meeting was nice at first but then by the end of it I felt bullied by the phone call to the manager. They try all the tricks, give you compliments, ask about your family, make these false connections, appear to be sympathetic (I have a severely disabled partner with locked-insyndrome). They explain the figures but at the end when I said I just wanted a quote and that I wasn't going to commit to their "today only discount" the rep called his manager who was very pushy and wanted to know why I had asked for a quote if I was undecided. They kept pushing. Felt truly bullied and told them so. I will not be engaging with this company again. They use outdated, pushy, bullying sales techniques. Do they really think people can't see these techniques. My worry is that some vulnerable trusting individuals will fall for it. It's dishonest salespersonship. Shame on you.

Great Company to deal with
Was planning on getting solar panels and battery installed in 2 years time.
Had a no obligation visit from Jack, who agreed that I could have panels installed on my flat garage roof and well as my cottage (pervious company said this was not possible) to maximise my solar generation. So decided to go with the installation 2 years early.
Installation was completed within a week. With all required documents sent within the industry timeframe.
Would recommend again.

Planetbloom have been very professional…
Planetbloom have been very professional through out the process. The salesman Harris, is a true gentleman and very professional. He explained everything very thoroughly and was polite and a joy to have dealt with him.
It was lovely that Peter gave us a courtesy call after the work was completely and gave us reassurance that we could call him if ever there was any issue.
Overall a very good experience with this company. Harris is a credit to the company.

So far, so good. Great appointment and product
So far I've only had my appointment with Elijah who was very knowledgeable and polite and of very smart appearance. He was professional and did a great job getting us an affordable package. Hopefully the solar panels we get are just as good. Will rate again after installation but so far, highly recommend this professional company 👍

We initially had a few hiccups with missed appointments at the beginning of our experience with PlanetBloom. However, once things got on track, we found the team to be reliable and consistent in their approach. They were quick to resolve any of the issues we encountered after our solar system was installed. The work was completed efficiently and with little to no mess, which we really appreciated. Overall, a positive turnaround and a solid experience.

From the start a young man came to give us a quote his name was Elijah and from start to finish he totally explained everything from installing to after care amazing every question we asked him he answered with professionalism.Also we spoke to the area manager Jack who also was very knowledgeable and professional and helped us tremendously definitely would recommend Planet Bloom.

AMAZING !
Absolutely astonishing work from start too finish. I would highly recommend this company especially Harris who came out for my solar Install, he was super helpful and explained everything top too bottom. I have saved thousands of pounds, without compromising on cheaper products. This company is brilliant with friendly coprative survivors like Harris they are by far the best in the business. I would recommend them to absolutely everyone.

UNIMPRESSED-at enquiry stage!
Updated comment….. I believe if you sub contract any work to another company you are still responsible for how that company reflects yours. The call centre were representing Planet Bloom and were very poor. I cannot comment on planet bloom’s work because I wouldn’t use them based on my appalling experience with the call centre.
Made an enquiry of a few companies just for information.
Call centre rang at 8am Monday morning (8am!!!) I missed the call.
They called again after lunch - I advised we were at hospital waiting to see a doctor… no empathy, tried to push me to answer ‘just a few questions’……
Spoke to someone later who spoke very fast on a poor connection and I didn’t get all the info.
Cancelled the (60-90min) face to face meeting and again was pressured to rebook. I refused and emailed a complaint. To be fair the director replied quickly.
Email received confirming a booking for 9pm tonight……!!!! FFS
Another provider gave me all the info I needed in a 15 min phone call, backed up by an email
I do not respond well to salespeople trying to pressure me. As a result this is not a company I would use
They need to check the company they outsource their booking system with.

At your request, your appointment was cancelled before one of our surveyors ever attended your property. As a result, we never had the opportunity to meet with you, provide advice, carry out a survey, or deliver any of our services.
While we take all feedback seriously and have already raised your concerns with the external company responsible for booking appointments, we don't feel this review accurately reflects PlanetBloom or the service we provide to our customers.

Very smooth from start to finish
Very smooth from sales visit through installation. Every member of the team was knowledgeable and personable from the scaffolders, the solar panel fitters and the electricians. They left my place clean and tidy.

Really happy with the service from this company. They use Duracell products and the product warranty is with Duracell itself! Highly recommend this company! Professional from start to finish, wouldn’t be without my solar panels now, can already see a decrease in my energy bill :)
