Just got back into playing competitive football and I really enjoyed playing at play football, the facilities were great, the ref and staff were good as well. Would recommend playing here.

Do not sign up
Do not sign up. Such a bad company, terribly run and out to get ur money in anyway possible. This is not worth the effort and the admin. Would definitely stay away dealing with them was an absolute nightmare. Look around and you will find plenty of similar comments.

Team recently joined the 6-a-side…
Team recently joined the 6-a-side league at the Cambridge Abbey. The pitch was refurbished not long ago and is in great condition - really nice to play on. The matches are competitive. The league manager, Arron, has been helpful and very communicative regarding any adjustments to games (e.g. kick off times).

Cambridge Abbey 6aside
Set up a new team that plays in the Cambridge Abbey 6aside League. Arron has helped us a long the way and we’ve loved being part of the league. Facilities are great, the ref is a good guy, the online portal is informative and easy to use, payments are done automatically. No stress or drama we just receive our kick off time and turn up and ply each week! If we do ever have any issues Arron is always on the end of the phone to help us out.

Booking a pitch for some other *****
Been going week in week out for a little while and it’s normally okay. Thing is they suddenly cancelled our game because some people were threatening to kick off if they tried to move them. Instead of doing something like calling the police etc (I think these people were friends of the organisers) they allowed 3/9 games to be cancelled that night. No communication to us and we all. Turned up. This is Guildford by the way if anyone is wondering. And the cheek for the organisers to say “we might get your money back for this”

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We’ve investigated further and can confirm first and foremost your team will be receiving a full refund, as will all teams impacted by this anomaly scenario.
We were informed that a group of people had managed to book the pitches when they were in fact unavailable. On-site security were on hand and after being threatened themselves, they chose to allow those bookers to see out the booking, rather than escalating the situation for all involved.
The technical issue which saw the booking made for by that group on our website has been resolved straight after the incident, meaning this will not happen in the future.

Been playing in the Nottingham leagues for about 2 years now and it’s been brilliant, except for some occasions with refs but that always happens with Football.

Good Service
We have several block bookings for a junior football team and have also used PlayFootball in York for a kids birthday party. Oli is incredibly helpful by email and on the phone and always goes out of his way to assist. No issues at all and more than happy to use them again.
