Porch Pirates Mystery Boxes Reviews 

I placed a $300+ order for Christmas on July 10th. I called, texted, emailed, and sent a message asking how long it would take and a couple of other questions, which were ignored. I was told 2-6 weeks. So, I waited two more weeks; now it was the end of July, beginning of August. I emailed, texted, and did everything again to get their attention. They sent me an email stating the package would be mailed out at the beginning of next week. Again, nothing. I repeated the same process the following week. Same email, next week. Next week came and passed. I received a phone call a month and 4 days after my initial purchase and was told it would be mailed out sometime next week. Two days after I got that call, I got a notification that they had created a label and it was being processed for shipping. I received an email two days afterward saying the shipper canceled my shipment. I was so disappointed because I had been waiting so long. I have tried to get a hold of them and received no answers or responses. I sent them an email with the cancellation of the items. I have yet to hear back from them. Please do not buy from this company, especially if they put other customers first, i.e., in-store customers.

The people that work there make it even more enjoyable then just opening a box....and so far every box has been great so that all rounds out to a 10

It took over 2 months to arrive. When it finally did, it was ALL junk. The one thing I would have kept was an indoor outdoor cat house, but there were pieces missing.

I will add that customer service was great. When I contacted them that I hadn’t received my box, they were right on it.

Super slow shipping of a really subpar product. I was offered $20 off my next purchase. It wasn’t even worth it WIRH $20 off.

Ordered two boxes the end of July and were told I would receive them August 7. As of August 16, still have not received and company will not respond to my emails.

Never received my order. I reached out multiple times and received 1 response that my order was delayed and then still nothing

Had to end up disputing my order through my credit card to get a refund. Very poor customer service

I’m giving one star now because I ordered my box on July 21. The shop app said I would receive my box 31 July through 4 August. It is 15 August. I have emailed I have called. No one has responded back to me when I called the number I get the we are experiencing more call volume. Please leave a message or the best way to get a hold of us is via email at porch Pirates email so I do that I’ve emailed them at least seven times and I’ve called and left messages at least seven times not one response back I ordered four boxes I spent over $230. I’m willing to change my review from a one star to a higher review if I ever receive my boxes.Update on my boxes, maybe 50% was usable items. The rest was just a waste of space in the box

Ordered 7/10/26. It is now August 15 and the package has still not shipped. Contacted customer service several times only to receive 1 reply on 7/23 that box was shipping beginning of week. Clearly that was a lie, yet I see daily ads on FB showing pallets and pallets of boxes that are "for sale" Complete scam!!!

Still no replies to messages, still no box. They have my money, I have nothing. Yet I see people posting boxes they received saying it only took 2 weeks. Owner claims shipping boxes aren't priority vs in store boxes because he loses money. Well, you have my money yet I have nothing. So how's that a loss for you?

If I could give zero stars I would.i placed an order online on July 15 and have yet to receive my box. I have called several times and each week I get the runaround saying they would get this to their supervisor. Nothing happens now when I try to call all I get is an answering machine...I guess I'm out of my money never again very disappointed

Order placed 6/27 today is 8/14 and still nothing. I have called and was told they were so busy and my order would go to priority, be shipped ups and it would go out early next week that would have been 7/27ish on 8/5 I requested my money back and there has been no response. I have emailed, called and sent a fb message and been completely ignored. I will never order from them again and suggest you don’t either you will get nothing but a runaround.

I paid almost 60 dollars for absolute garbage. There wasn’t a single item in the box I would have paid a dollar for. I was better off just burning my money now I gotta throw this crap away.

This is a SCAM!! Beware!! I placed an order on July 21, 2026 and paid for expedited shipping to arrive by July 24, the 27 at the latest. I was also in the process of moving, which is why I paid extra for shipping. This was a birthday gift to myself and the first time I ever ordered a "blind box" of any kind, ever. When the package never arrived and the shipping details showed the package hadn't been shipped yet on the 28, I reached out to the company and posted on their FB page about my experience, hoping they would refund or send the package. They subsequently blocked me. Someone named "Katie" finally called me and promised I would get my money back. NO money was returned and my kids and I had to move out of our house on July 30. On August 4 I got an email with a long excuse about why the package wasn't delivered due to shipments not being sorted. Got the same exact email on August 7 - after I had responded and asked for my money back, again, I reached out to the kY General Attorney's office to report this scam and am in the process of pursuing this company with an investigation. Today (August 13) I got another email informing me they are sending the package to the address I moved out of - even though I told them we moved and gave them the address where we are staying. I called this morning and left a message before they sent the package out. I emailed them, also. Just got an update that "a package" was sent out with UPS ... to my old address. I went on the UPS site and PAID $27 to change the address just in case they actually sent the package. Should be negative stars for these opportunists

Spent a lot of money. Took for ever to ship. Got a bunch of worthless crap. Miscellaneous parts that I can't use. Boxes worth less than 1/3 of what I spent.

No email or updates sent as stated when ordered
Called customer service told overwhelmed by orders
Sent 2 emails no response until I commented on a Facebook post. Received an email next day.
August 13 still no packaged was told it would be delivered two weeks ago.
Cannot comment on quality due to no package

I have looked up every item to compare the price I paid to what I received and I’m very disappointed that my items are less than what I paid for them! Not only was my order nearly 2 months late and forgotten about but Katie assured me I would be happy with my order. Very disappointed is an understatement

First it was a delay after delay was promised. A delivery date then wa stole it would be the middle of next week then I got told it was 10-14 days took 24 days to get the boxes shipped. I had thought ok I’ll get good stuff maybe one of those big prizes. No I got a bunch of useless junk I have no use for. Spent 300 dollars for computer parts, a mower belt, class of 2025-2026 crap and Britt’s party supplies. Was highly offended to receive something religious but nothing I could have any use for. Wish I had a way to get my 300 back

My orders are delayed due to so many orders being ordered and when I contacted them about it I heard from a lady named Katie and she has been very helpful. She went all out to make sure my orders are going out and she is personally going to the warehouse to make sure they go out on time. I can't wait to open them.
