Ehh, it’s such a good idea, but poorly implemented. I’ll start with the pros - clothes recycling is far better for the environment, and delivery was really fast. Prices are low.

Cons: you WILL need to immediately wash everything you buy from here. All their stuff comes untreated from donations. Expect cigarette smells, mould smells and potentially moths that could destroy your existing collection.

On two occasions now, I’ve had the high value items “go missing” during order fulfilment. It seems that other customers have experienced this too, so you only receive the tat that you used to get free postage/discount etc. I checked on eBay completed listings to see if these higher-value items had been sold in a separate transaction to someone else, but they hadn’t. This suggests either poor inventory-keeping or some dishonest staff practices.

I had a look at Glassdoor and other review sites to find out what it’s like to work there. Staff morale and turnover don’t paint a particularly favourable picture. The positive reviews seem to use similar language. Don’t take my word for it - have a look yourself.

I’ve read the company challenges negative reviews on here as fake, so I shall be knocking off a star if they try that with this one.

What I love about PREWORN is that, all the pre loved, second hand or not even used clothings are put up here to be used and passed it on to a new owner. Very disappointed with my purchases. I ordered a hoody that has a large stain which looks like paint and the pull string is missing. A cardigan that was covered in snags and bobbles and a dress that was faded. 2 other products were ok. Three out of 5 items I will put in the bin. This is really good idea but the clothes have to be in decent condition. I don't know the conditions of the storage warehouse either but all items smell musty and damp.

I love Preworn! I am trying to be more sustainable in terms of clothing and Preworn sells second handed clothes or new clothes that didn’t sell from shops. I’ve bought many nice clothes at an affordable price and they are all good in quality.
