After a big misunderstanding buying a gift card I needed for online shopping and it turning out to be an instore only card, Ruth at Prezzee sorted out my problem and proccessed a refund on my gift card within a couple of hours, she was very calm, patient and understanding. Honestly the best customer service representative I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I thought it was going to be a nightmare getting my money back but no, Ruth was amazing! Hey Prezzee, give Ruth a raise and put her in charge, you need to make all your other staff like her if they aren't already!

TLDR; PREZZEE IS A SCAM COMPANY, DO NOT USE AT ALL! They scammed me into thinking there's something wrong with my 2-year-old account in favor of stealing $300; if you want to keep your money I suggest you find any other service, convenience isn't worth the theft - customer service is appalling, responses aren't consistent, they ignore your enquiries, literally no one is actually interested in helping me reinstate my account BUT they said it's not stealing and is completely and fairly based off their policies - rubbish!

Another company that deserves 0 stars - take it from someone who's actually used Prezzee for more than making a quick transaction or swapping a card once. I've had my account for 2 years with no issues, till Prezzee decided to close it.
They "apparently" found discrepancies that violated their terms of service (2 years after it had been opened mind you), didn't bother to notify me through EITHER the email or phone number linked, and took away the $300 I had left. I've been through customer service numerous times, each coming back with a generated message on how they can't do anything; I asked directly what the problem was with my account AND THEY OUTRIGHT REFUSED to hand over any information, claiming they couldn't divulge due to "security reasons".
After all the times I had spoken to them no requests were put through to retrieve anymore information, I even had one representative go as far as to marking my case as deescalated and closing it - didn't bother to contact me after the generated email of "we've recieved your message etc", just closed it! I was then promised by another representative that they would write to the specialist team and get back to me on the situation.. it's been over two weeks and still nothing.
Super rude and difficult to work with, it's very clear there's no real issue with my account and this is just another case of companies hiding behind their policies whilst blaming the customer for the problems caused.
Prezzee was recommended to me at one stage, which is why I'm extremely disgusted that they would even dare scam their customers, especially in a time like this. I've already discouraged everyone I know from using this place, friends/family in real life and online, and just written general posts about my awful experience - nobody deserves to be scammed and I will not let this slide, DO NOT USE PREZZEE! The amount of stress, frustration and anxiety I've had to deal with over losing my money is not worth it whatsoever. Save yourself the chaos and please, use somewhere else.
And if you're having a hard time believing this review, look up reviews on Google maps for Prezzee, Castlereagh street. All the same, so many people having trouble with this terrible service and also being scammed. It's truly despicable, and needs to stop.
EDIT - The fact that I've received a response from them within the hour is super suspicious (most likely a bot), and thanks for responding with no real intention of helping! Will be reporting to various entities and ensuring that anyone I come across avoids this sickening service.

I was initially speaking to Joy (chat bot?) who ended our chat a little prematurely without resolving my question which was a tad frustrating however Marco took up the chat directly after and managed to resolve the issue for me so I am very grateful for his assistance.
