It has been a great experience receiving consultation from Lukas and Pierre.

Lukas has helped us with a wide range of topics, including financing, pension plans, and legal and private insurance options and inquiries. He has been very thorough and has provided us with detailed information throughout the process.

Overall, my experience working with the consultant was positive, especially in terms of responsiveness and support throughout the purchasing process. Communication was generally clear, and they were available to assist when needed.

However, there were some challenges regarding the initially projected rental income. The expectations presented at the beginning did not fully align with the actual achievable rent, which required additional clarification and negotiation later in the process. While this created some uncertainty, I appreciate that in the end a solution was found, and a subsidy from the seller was arranged to bridge the gap.

That said, reaching this outcome required considerable back-and-forth and was at times a tiresome process. A more realistic initial assessment and clearer communication around rental expectations would have made the experience smoother.

In summary, the consultant was helpful and committed, but there is room for improvement in setting accurate expectations upfront.

I’ve been working with Proper API across insurance, investments, and real estate, and on the whole I’ve had a positive experience.

The insurance and investment consultations were professional, attentive, and well-suited to my needs. The real estate process was, as expected, the most demanding — stretching over about a year and a half — but the team supported me through the learning curve, and the purchase itself was well-coordinated.

One area where I feel there is room to grow is the post-notary phase. In practice, the formal signing is not the final step — there are still several important actions that need to be taken before the purchase is truly complete. As a first-time buyer, I wasn’t aware of this, and despite asking about next steps on a few occasions, I didn’t receive a clear picture in time. With a simple checklist or a brief overview of what comes after signing, I would have been able to take ownership of those steps myself and avoid some of the complications that arose. It’s a small addition that could make a meaningful difference for clients going through this process for the first time.

When support was needed most, it did come through — and I genuinely appreciate that.

One tip for future clients: always read through every document yourself, from start to finish. It pays off.
