I'm working with Pierre and Deniz and so far I have learned a lot about the business and the process of buying a flat for investment. I'll update to again after I go through the whole process.

When I first started working with Proper API, I had a very positive experience. The initial phase felt supportive and consultative, and the guidance was genuinely helpful.

After about a year, my view is a bit more balanced. The service has become more transactional, with most interactions focused on relaying information or follow-ups rather than providing independent advice or proactive consulting.

Overall, the service is fine and I continue working with them, but I’d recommend starting with clear expectations around the level of long-term advisory support provided.

These people are experts in their fields and work well with expats whose German language is not their first language.

They have services for many types of investment opportunities, they help with minimizing taxes and costs and maximizing tax refunds.

They also help get the correct insurances that you need by getting the best premiums for the money you can afford.

When working with Proper API, both sides share a common goal: come up with the best insurance/finance tools to support their clients´ wealth generation and protection. They use concrete facts, numbers, and analysis to support their proposals and guide your decision making. They also don´t rush you into making any decision and whatever other scenarios come along, they are happy to incorporate them. The monthly service has also been great, saving me time and giving me peace of mind to ask them whatever I need to know, when I need to know. Opportunity for improvement: sometimes it´s necessary to follow up on them or send reminders to check if there are any updates with an ongoing request (e.g. to an insurance company), however, nothing critical that can´t be improved.
