I recently had the pleasure of speaking with ProperAPI for financial consultancy services as an expat living in Germany. Their consultant Denis provided me with a clear and comprehensive understanding of the benefits and insurance policies that are most relevant to my situation. They explained how these options would be beneficial to me not just now, but also in the future.

Specifically, they advised me on Basis Rentenversicherung (basic pension insurance) and Arbeitsunfähigkeit insurance (inability to work insurance). Their guidance was thorough and tailored to my needs, which made it easy for me to decide to opt to both of these policies.

Overall, my experience with ProperAPI has been good.

Working with Proper API has been amazing from Day 1. Everyone I spoke to had a lot of patience to answer all of my questions, they helped me structure my long term financial goal, clearly advised me on what was a good idea vs what was not a good idea and why. I decided to subscribe to their Whatsapp service as well, I had a lot of help with my insurance, but also feels like a personal concierge, that would help with day to day stuff as well. Being a foreigner, with very little German knowledge, this has proven to be invaluable.

Caveat: Some of their cost can seem high in the beginning, but as I see, they offset in the long term.

As an expat with a decent income, I've found Proper API to be a valuable resource. The services they provide are particularly tailored to the unique financial needs of expats, helping us navigate complex regulations and processes with ease. In particular, so far, I've worked with Valentin and Lukas, whom I found knowledgeable, friendly, and competent.
I'm looking forward to continuing our cooperation in the future.
