The product (rocktamers 2.5) had issues with the holes in the rubber mate not lining up. Called and was told someone will call me back, which never happened. Would not recommend buying stuff from.

Quick response, well packaged. I have had so much stuff I ordered for my van build show up with the box destroyed and contents damaged, it was nice to have this show up undamaged on a pallet nicely packaged. I know the fault likely lies with the shipping companies for the previous damage but it was sent out very quickly which was nice.

Everything sold separately.
It is ridiculous and insulting that you sell the towers and adapters for this rack without also packaging the crossbars. Realizing that I needed to spend an additional $300 on a part that the rack cannot function without was maddening. I know that Yakima is the main culprit here for designing their product so EVERYTHING is sold separately, but it would be easy for you as a distributor to package it correctly.

Andrew, per our response to your chat, the crossbars are sold separately because they come in different lengths. You need to select the length that is correct for your vehicle, so it’s not possible to package it together as you suggest. In addition, we list this information in three separate and clear places on the product page to avoid this kind of confusion. We sell a lot of these racks, and this is the first issue we’ve had with it, so after our review, we have determined that the current setup is sufficient. Thank you for your feedback.
