The bag is wonderful

The bag is wonderful. It took weeks to get it. I emailed Rebag weekly and received prompt responses but with no information about when the bag would ship. It seems like shipping could be quicker.

Good luck getting paid

This is my second time dealing with Rebag after they changed their vetting process. I’ve had previous trade-ins and buyouts with them that took two weeks from shipping, receiving and then payout. These past two times payout exceeds 30 business days and they always claim to have technical difficulties. Phone number is automated and hangs up as soon as it transfers you to a person. I thought the first bad experience was a fluke, decided to give it another shot and the reality feels like they hope you forget they owe you money and once it’s in your wallet good luck getting it transferred. I tried three times and all times failed and was sent to their team for “investigation “ their recommendation was to try at 8am the following day.

The process takes way too long

The process takes way too long. It takes 30 business days (6 weeks) from acceptance of the offer to receive funds. Then, once you receive the funds you have to wait an additional 2 week if you want the full amount.

Also, the review of my bag was inaccurate. It stated a perfume smell, creases, marks and wear that were just not there. It was a brand new bag that had never been used.

Your reply time is the worst

Your reply time is the worst. I haven’t received a response for over two weeks. When someone does respond you get different answers from each person that responds.

Trading bags take a lot A LOT longer than what you state in the fine print. Selling a bag takes longer for a payout than your fine print.

SCAM!!! BE AWARE!

I sent in my consignment for an month. All I received is an email stating they received my item on 03/12. Nothing followed up ever since, I tried to email them for update several times. NOBODY asnswered or replied! Holding my item for not paying is a SCAM! BE AWARE to do business with them. They try to scam people nowadays!

Platform needs serious investment

Rebag’s website and app both need a full review and ongoing maintenance. There are a lot of errors across both platforms, and core features like sort and filter do not really work. It’s 2026, and they need to invest in the platform.

One example, when you sort, the results split into an in-stock group and a non-in-stock group before applying the actual sort. That separation is not useful and makes browsing harder, not easier. The basic logic of sort and filter should be rebuilt.

Customer service has been just as frustrating. I reached out multiple times by email and never received a response. I also tried the online chat, and the platform kept disconnecting in the middle of conversations, several times in a row. Between the broken site, the broken app, and unreachable support, the experience falls well short of what a company at this price point should be offering.

As a seller, the payout terms are also not fair. Rebag holds seller funds for an extended period after a sale, on top of already taking a percentage of the sold piece. The relationship between the seller and the consignor should be two way. Either release the funds promptly, or lower the commission. Holding both the money and the cut is not a fair deal for the people actually supplying the inventory.

Update:
Beware of Rebag if you are considering selling with them. Their customer service email, contact*rebag.com, is essentially a black hole. I have emailed multiple times about my account and never received a single response.
This is from someone who was a Rebag+ and VIP member, having sold over $30,000 on the platform in one year. On top of the unresponsive support, I had more than $600 in selling credit on my account, with no confirmed expiration date, and it simply vanished without any notice.
If this is how they treat their top sellers, I cannot imagine the experience for anyone else.

NOT worth the consignment

My bag has been on consignment, pending sale for weeks. They dropped the price so many times without my approval and asking me to pay $100 for my item to receive it back. The system is so flawed, I get emails every day about me picking up one of my bags I picked up last year. I was lied to you by the sales associate saying that consigning with Rebag would be effortless and wouldn’t control my money or item and they did. Complete lie, they tell me to call Customer Service, and when I do all they’re trying to do is sell me a membership.

This is the first time I have spent…

This is the first time I have spent more than $400 for a purse. The LV bag cost $2,400 and was beautiful, in perfect condition, or appeared to be. I made the purchase on 2/10/26. On 4/20/26, I noticed that the trim on the handle and around the edges of the purse was pealing and cracking. That is slightly more than 2 months that this very expensive bag lasted. I contacted rebag and I can either trade it in or sell it back to them, the value being the same in either case. I am going to sell it back to them because I don’t trust that a new one would last longer. This was very disappointing. The one good thing I can say is that their customer service was responsive in sharing my options. Given the bag is clearly damaged, I expect the price for selling it back, plus their need to make a profit on each purse, to be substantially less than I paid for it.
