Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to raise an urgent complaint regarding a money transfer I made earlier today which has still not been received by the recipient.
The transfer was made at 14:00 today, reference MWGH81201737, for the amount of GHS 1,000 (GBP 64.10). It is now 19:45, and the funds have still not been received, despite the transaction showing as delivered. This payment was made to cover an urgent medical expense, which makes the delay extremely concerning.
I would appreciate an immediate update on the status of this transaction and confirmation of when the funds will be released. If the money cannot be received today, I request that a full refund be processed without delay.
Please treat this matter as urgent.

Funds held, transaction not delivered
I had a very poor experience with Remit Home. My transaction was not delivered, yet the company continues to hold on to my money without issuing a refund.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve this directly, there has been no clear communication, no resolution, and no urgency shown. Holding customer funds without completing the service or refunding them is completely unacceptable.
This has caused significant stress and inconvenience, and I am now left with no option but to escalate the matter formally.
I would strongly advise others to be cautious before using this service, especially if you need your funds urgently.

Disappointing and Unreliable Service
Remit Home’s money transfer service has been getting worse by the day. Their performance is clearly declining, and instead of fixing the problem, their customer service seems determined to make the experience even more frustrating.
For the past two days, I was repeatedly promised that the money would reach the beneficiary by the end of the day. Those promises were never fulfilled. Each time I followed up, I received the same scripted response: “The money has already left our bank.” When asked for proof or a clear explanation, they simply blamed the Ghana bank, without taking any responsibility or offering a real solution.
There is no transparency, no accountability, and absolutely no urgency—even though customers rely on these transfers for important needs. Constant excuses and broken promises show a serious lack of professionalism.
I would not recommend Remit Home to anyone who needs reliable, timely money transfers. Until they improve their operations and stop misleading customers, this service cannot be trusted.

I cannot recommend this company for sending money. I used their app to transfer £158 to my father in Ghana for a medical emergency on 10/12/25, and as of today, 15/12/25, he still hasn't received it.
Although the app indicates the transaction was delivered, the funds have not reached him. I've been in contact with the Remit Home support team, and their response has been the same: “Your query has been forwarded to the relevant department and marked as a priority. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while it is being processed.” This has been repeated for five days without any resolution.
At this stage, I find the company unreliable. If you're looking for a dependable service, I suggest you look elsewhere. I'm still attempting to get my money refunded.

I would not recommend using this company if you need to send money.
I used their app to send £200 to my mother in Ghana on Friday, 12/12/25, around 12 noon. As of 15/12/25, she still has not received the money.
The app shows the transaction as delivered, but the money has not been delivered to her. I have been communicating with the Remit Home support team, and they keep telling me to “wait one hour.” I have been told this repeatedly since Friday, with no resolution.
At this point, I do not believe the company is reliable. If you want peace of mind, I would advise not using this service. I am still trying to get my money refunded.

Remit Home has horrible operations, the entire remittance company is highly incompetent because i don't understand why a Simple reversal transaction has to take forever to be done. The level of incompetence by Remit Home remittance company is appalling. People should be careful dealing with them.

Very dishonest service. They increase the rate as the highest rate and indirectly charge you transfer fee making their rate the lowest in the market. Meanwhile they are advertising as 0% fee. If you are using to Ghana don't use them. Misleading and dishonest service

Since I begin using this app among others so far remit home is the best in terms of their agilities of responding queries and the best part of them is the exchange rate in the market.although sometime back they had some issues in ghana of releasing fund but it was sort in the shortest time possible given details information about the incident,so what we have to consider is that their good is more than their bad.no one is perfect.in conclusion remit home is the best recently in the market keep it up.
