The festival site and game structure worked really well. Our boys picked up a few injuries so day 2 was hard. 1 of the lads partially dislocated his kneecap but the site paramedic was brilliant, calming, professional and funny and got the knee sorted within minutes. Facilities at the pitch ample. The holiday park was perfect for a rugby trip, beds were comfortable and the beer and food was reasonably priced. The booking side was a bit of a faff as the revel portal wasn't that easy to use and we moved things around a fair bit but Jodie was easily contactable and
the rooms were as requested in the end. The venue was a 40 minute car ride away from the accommodation which we weren't made aware of until a couple of weeks before the festival. We booked the shuttle bus but couldn't all get onto it so had to drive. All in all, well done.

A super weekend! Well organised and lots of fun! They were really flexible and made the weekend work for our teams attendance.

Revel ran a well organised, friendly and fun U13’s festival. Good venue, facilities and services. Great atmosphere and referees.

Today was a really enjoyable day, great atmosphere great people. Lots of game time for the boys with plenty of rest in between. Can’t wait for next year!!

We attended the Marlow rugby festival and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The rugby was fantastic and all the players really enjoyed it. Camping was fun and a bit different to the usual rugby tour experience which we all loved.

There was an emergency situation one night on the campsite and this was handled excellently. With privacy to the people involved but also speed and efficiency which from a customer service view (I have over 15 years working in customer service) is all you can hope for.

The campsite had loads of entertainment on offer too, the kids managed to have a go on laser tag and Archery in the evening and we all loved the music acts (Elton John tribute deserves the 5* alone).

I would recommend a tour like this to anyone who hasn’t experienced a full weekend of camping and rugby. Cant wait for the next one!

I recently traveled to Marlow with my son and stayed on the campsite for the Revel Rugby festival. It was an absolute blast! The beers were flowing, the entertainment was bouncing, and the rugby was out of this world. We stayed in a deluxe tent, and as a first-time camper, I must say it exceeded my expectations. Sure, it was a bit freezing at night, but thankfully, the rain didn't fall.

Despite the chill, the fun and excitement more than made up for it. I'd definitely recommend a Revel Rugby festival to anyone looking for a good time. We're already eyeing Devon for next year!

We attended the Marlow tour in May and I can only describe the management by Revel as utterly shameful! I have held off on reviewing as have been waiting for a refund due to an over payment, I was promised on the 14th May that it would be refunded within 10 days, nothing, nada, they are refusing to answer calls or respond to emails. I will now pursue it through the credit card company.
There is not much to add that hasn't already been said, look at the other reviews, the company is a shambles. They are actively deleting any negative feedback on social media.
There was a serious incident on the campsite and emergency vehicles were unable to access the site as the gates were locked and no staff were available to let them in, disgraceful!
Please, do not use this company. You have been warned!

Our family did attend the rugby tour which were hosted there.
We were 2 adults with 4 children,
We have paid about £800 for the accommodation and we've been asked to pay additional £50for our dog.
When we went there the caravan which was given to us was 2 bedroom, 1 double bed and the other one 2 single.
Our two 15 years old boys didn't had room for which we have paid.
They sleep on sofa bed which was very uncomfortable and they even didn't had bedding, pillow and duvet or blanket.
Very disappointed for paying so much money .

Held off from writing a review as been trying for weeks to get Revel to do the right thing. I can do so no longer. Have asked Jodie for a refund for the Marlow festival as we couldn’t attend due to the accommodation not being available for us. Paid a deposit in October 2023 and further payment in November (total £150) to reserve a hotel room in one of the advertised hotel rooms for Marlow festival May 2024, Revel could only offer camping but failed to write and tell me or offer a refund, found out third hand that our reservation had been changed to camping. Since I had a newborn baby I couldn’t camp. I was never offered my money back and have been asking since beginning of April. I was told I will be refunded as I paid for a hotel which was not provided and the alternative of camping was not suitable. My next step will have to be trading standards unless

Took my lads to the Marlow festival had a really great time. We catered for ourselves mainly had a bit of scram from one of the food vendors at the campsite price was what you would expect for a festival same as the beer on offer at the campsite. Toilets where cleaned regularly could maybe of done with a few more to please everyone but its camping not the Ritz. Main thing I asked my 2 how they rated the tour both said 10 out of 10.
I coach u15s and the lads had a tough group but they played their socks off and i would say the experience has made them closer as a team and my younger lad played in the u11s there rugby was great and again pulled the team closer and was great to see the older lads support the younger team and visevirsa. The bus service to and from the club was great and added a bit to the experience for the lads a few having a dance with another club while waiting. We visited the Marlow site in May 2024.

Campsite was good with live music and entertainment for all ages. If I was to be critical I would request some more food options and hot drinks.

Rugby pitches were of great quality, matches were well managed with good quality food and drink available throughout the day.

Toilets were muddy, food and drink wasn’t Tesco priced but let’s remember we were at a rugby festival.

All round a great weekend. Will be back 👌

Having attended numerous rugby and football events with our sons over the years, attending Revel Rugby Marlow with our grandson was very special. Watching him have so much fun playing the sport he loves at a well organised event was amazing! My husband and I are big foodies, we were delighted with the choice of delicious food at both the rugby club and campsite, we had to queue but having been to many events like this it was to be expected.
Elton Johns performance was absolutely fantastic. The entire event was excellent from start to finish for both the big kids and little kids in our family. We will definitely return to make more memories.
Thank you Revel for a wonderful experience.

It was OK. Kids had a great time.

Few niggles from an adult perspective such as:

- Campsite changed a week before to 20mins away
- one set of showers/toilets and depending where you were pitched could be quite far away.
- It was expensive for what we got (2 man tent)
- Water ran out in the showers so couldn’t shower one of the days. Although day 2 they resolved this.
- Half the toilets were closed so the ones that were in use were unclean.
- There was one food stall. It was nice food, but pricey. Not much choice.

After going with many different tour company’s, revel was by far the better one. The tour was all about the kids and they thoroughly enjoyed their time. The rugby played over the 2 days was great quality to watch. The standard on a lot of teams were by far above our expectations. Communication from revel was great start to finish. From our first chat about a potential tour to the fact that we have already signed up to tour again with them next year. See you soon revel rugby

We were at the Revel Marlow rugby festival and had a fantastic time! Talking to one of the organisers and he said that the original campsite they had booked with went into liquidation shortly before the festival was due to commence, so for them to secure another camp site at such short notice and lay on a free shuttle service was tremendous ( it enabled me to have a few beers without worry) the journey on the bus was only about 6 miles or so, so that meant even I could manage the journey without busting for a wee!
The rugby was great our team thoroughly enjoyed the experience and came away with quality medals!
Marlow RFC were exceptional hosts and the venue was second to none. The food and drink was reasonably priced and the kids enjoyed the pizza and burgers.
The entertainment was superb, one of the highlights was the Elton John tribute, everyone there enjoyed! See you next year Marlow.

Attended the Marlow tour with our club for our 4th Rugby Tour over the last few years, I couldn’t fault the experience, the rugby grounds were in good condition and the entertainment in the evening was superb, with the bands and DJs, had us all up dancing all evening, shame it finished at 11pm! The tent pitches were well organised, the power we had for our tent was spot on, previously we had power tripping as we were sharing a supply with other people however not a single problem this year. The ground was soft however it was raining so couldn’t expect anything different. The team were amazing, organised and professional and answered all questions we had. The food was amazing, it wasn’t cheap burger van food like other tours we have been on, lush fresh chips that weren’t greasy, chicken tasted amazing, the breakfast muffins were spot on! I’m looking forward to booking in next year!

It was the first time we have ever been to an event like this and I have to say I was extremely pleased with the overall experience. The blend of entertainment along with the rugby itself was extremely unique and most definitely something myself and my family would do again. Big thumbs up from me!

I've finally got round to writing our review for our amazing weekend at Revel Rugby Festival in Marlow and have been amazed to read these reviews. From our club first mentioning about the tour and to us leaving to go home, our experience was superb. We initially had issues booking our hotel but a quick call in the the Revel office soon helped us out (it turned out it was my error 😂). We really enjoyed the camping experience - yes it did rain but we got a great team spirit going and had a right laugh. We danced to some incredible bands and the kids disappeared for a few hours as they wanted to go and play in the gaming tent! The food and drinks prices were what we expected to pay in this neck of the woods to be honest. We got plenty in our box for our chicken and chips and there were loads of drinks options at the bar for adults and children. There was plenty of things for us to do as a family and together as a team and we all commented as a team what a great space had been made in a big-top style tent for the evening activities. I did hear that there were issues with the showers on one of the mornings but when we used the ablutions we didn't have any issues - I even commented to my wife about the hand soap in the toilets being of a refreshingly decent quality!! We loved the competition down at the club and although we didn't win this year we are certainly up for coming back in 2025. I heard at training on Sunday that the club have already registered their interest for 2025 - we'll definitely be there!

Can only reiterated what people have said below. If anyone one comes across these reviews please do not book with revel absolute shambles from start to finish. Tom Kerridge 2 Michelin star restaurant was cheaper for a pint at £6.50. No children's options on the food menu for a 'children's rugby tour' Security was a shambles no control over the site. Revel have closed off any communication but were very quick pre tour especially in regards to paying them money. Told it was a cashless festival to be told that parking is £20 cash. Electric points laying in wet grass accident waiting to happen. Just read the reviews below

Again if I could zero or a negative score I would.
Campsite was a shambles to the extent 3 people were taken to hospital. Live electricity all across wet fields with kids playing on top of it . No sanitation facilities, no water to wash or clean, no food , no drink .
All the activities promised were actually private companies situated in marlow, not associated with Revel.
The rugby pitch was miles away from the campsite and the hotels were completely overpriced and detached from the tour.
Have written for a refund and as you’d expect - radio silence !!!
