The area where I ride just stupidly banned ebikes. I needed a stealthy ebike. I bought the suspension roadster 3. I find the suspension does not smooth out the ride much. I have ridden ebikes with seat post suspension that ride better. I am not sure but the non suspension model with seat post seat post suspension would ride better than the front suspension and weigh less. Otherwise the power is ok riding at a comfortable 15-16mph. I m 77 years old so I am not overly strong. I like the fenders keeping water from spraying my back. If I had to do over I would have bought the rubber drive with a suspension seat post. I do not shift gears only going between spot and boost levels.

A knocking sound is occurring and a grinding noise when peddling. Bike is less than a month old.

Man, I love my new roadster! The torque sensor is amazing in that I wanted to still ride a bike and not be taken for a ride. It's lightweight, doesn't look like an ebike and handles great! I had an ebike that I purchased 3 years ago but it was just too big and heavy. Frankly, it was awful off the pavement. With the cadence sensor I couldn't control the burst when pedaling. The roadster gives me everything I need. Plus, I have already ridden it 30 miles and am still on 85% battery. Granted, I ride in eco (level one) mode but it's all I need.

I wasn't sure which bike to go with. I am so happy that I went with the Vorsa. Everything on the bike seems to be quality components. So far I'm getting 60 miles to a charge. Anytime I have had a question, it is always easy to reach someone. The assembly was easy. I will be 72 years old in a couple days. This is exactly what I needed to get out of the house and exercise. Overall extremely thrilled with the order process and delivery. The bike itself was very easy to assemble. Instructions were very clear. Probably the best set of tools I've ever seen supplied with a bike. Only two comments: I wish there were touch-up paint available, I've taken a few rides and get a few nicks here or there. Secondly, if there ever is an update to the Brose interface how would that be handled? Definitely worth the value for the money.

4.75 Stars out of Five. I was waiting to write my review until I had about 400 miles on the CF1 Racer. So here we go.

Pro: GREAT: price, customer service, weight of bike, strong battery, components, easy to ride, fits in back of car (i can lift easily).

Cons: having difficulty keeping the rear tire inflated, air depletes after 24 hours. Yes I used tire sealant.

I am enjoying my new Portola. The bike is well constructed and pretty easy to put together out of the box. The power is adequate ... with good acceleration. I have not folded it since the original assembly but folding seems relatively easy. I was primarily interested in the ability to fold so I could put it in the back of my SUV, but be aware that it might be lighter than other e-bikes, but it's still pretty hefty. It seems to be good for about 30 miles per full battery charge which is sufficient for me these days. My only complaint about the purchase process / customer service is that the bike I ordered was not the color delivered. It's still attractive and to return the heavy box and wait around for a new delivery was too much of a hassle for me to complain about it ... just be aware when considering ordering. Still, it's a nice bike and as good value.

I had a couple hiccups with shifting my gears and putting the bike together properly, but it was able to resolve at the local bike place and reading multiple videos and things online helped a little rocky

My previous E-bike was cadence, so it took me a few rides to get used to the torque and I like it quite a bit. Have not switched back to the cadence yet to try it on this bike but I probably will eventually. I like power boost levels and move between them when needed. I got the Pannier bags and like that I can carry stuff in them pretty easily. The bike is a little heavier than I expected and after riding it for a few days a few of the gears don't switch quite right anymore so I will have to get them adjusted soon. They seemed to work fine for the first week or so but a few of them are a little off now. I just use it for pleasure and Overall, I like the bike quite a bit and will recommend it.

All i have are good words for my Roadster V3,this bike went above and beyond my expectations. The ride is smooth,very silent motor,reliable led screen(called it small but mighty) battery last way longer before it drains on eco mode. Ride1up you got this one right. You guys rock!

Love it. Light weight and fun

I purchased four Vorsa bikes, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing.
Two of the four bikes arrived with shipping damage right out of the box. While I expected a few minor adjustments during assembly, I did not expect to receive damaged products. To make matters worse, the derailleur on a third bike failed after only the second ride, making it unusable.
At first glance, these bikes look great. They have an attractive design and appear to offer good value. However, the quality of the components does not match the appearance. Based on my experience, the parts are not durable enough to withstand normal use.
A big frustration has been the customer service—or lack of it. When you spend thousands of dollars on multiple bikes, you expect the company to stand behind its products. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
I had high hopes for Vorsa, but after receiving damaged bikes, experiencing an early component failure, and being unable to get meaningful support, I cannot recommend this brand. If you're considering purchasing a Vorsa bike, I would suggest looking at other manufacturers that offer better quality control and responsive customer service.

Inconvenient folding mechanism, makes it hard to pickup and transport. it doesnt go as far and as fast as they say it does!!!! for $995 im very unsatisfied with the quality:/

I’ve never assembled a bicycle before but I’ve had an eBike for 11 years prior to buying the V3 Roadster. But as a Boomer I’ve got relatively good mechanic skills so I wondered “how hard could it be”. Turns out it wasn’t difficult, just needed YouTube and some helpful advice from Ride1up, a few test rides and a few new “bicycle tools” I didn’t have on hand and I got my first V3 running tiptop. Learned quite a bit about alignment and tuning of derailleurs, and derailleur hangers, and bleeding breaks (my fault…unscrewed the brake caliper hydraulic block thinking those screws were just holding the brake caliper on the frame :).

So aside from those rookie mistakes it was pretty easy to get it running great. My rides are 22 to 37 miles per session. I added the second auxiliary battery so I can ride in 100% Tour and go 50+ miles or 100% Sport mode and get 37 miles (with several big hills along the wt). I haven’t tried Boost it Throttle yet (wasn’t my intention to own an electric scooter, I ride for fun, fast exercise. The V-3 in Tour gives me a great workout if I average 21.5 MPH and the same great workout (just faster and quicker) if I average 24MPH in Sport Mode. Sport Mode I’m often up against the 28 MPH limit on the slightest downhill so I prefer to ride Tour mode and push harder to get to 28 on flat/slight downhill and get a bit slower (22-24 MPH) but much more rigorous (and a bit longer) workout.

BTW. I bought a second V3 so friends and Grandkids that can keep up with Grandpa.

Love the V3s. Great value and quite reliable so far.

I’m giving this company 3 stars. Bike frame arrived with several scratches all over bike frame. Customer service team is incompetent. One of their accessories came with a missing part. They do respond fairly quickly and did make things right which is why I didn’t give them 1 star but I had to do some serious negotiating, where I feel like most other companies would have been more accommodating.

Ride1Up conveniently arranged to time the delivery of my Portola for when I reached our place in rural Vermont. Happy to receive a beanie and derailleur guard too. Assembly was easy - I would recommend unfolding and locking the bike open before installing the handlebars because this gives a gravity assist in setting the forks in the head tube, and locking in the stem. Riding the dirt back roads, including Class 4 unmaintained roads, has been great. Only the steepest hills slowed forward progress, but just gear down and it climbs the hill just fine. I was unsure how the 20" tires would do, versus 26" or 27", but was pleasantly surprised to find they do well so long as you avoid the bigger potholes. I think the wider tires help a lot. Mind you, I have an OptiBike I bought in 2008 (for 9X this price) to ride challenging mountain biking trails in Angeles National Forest, and the Portola is equally suitable for Vermont dirt back roads, even if the OptiBike is the way to go for fast steep downhill single track scary stuff. I enjoy riding the Portola and have been riding every day, which was the point, i.e., to trick myself into getting exercise while enjoying the scenery. Notably, the gears work really well, smooth and precise, and easy to shift quickly on the fly from top to bottom or vice versa. Good grip from the knobby tires in gravel and mud. I was a bit skeptical that I could like a smaller tires, but I can't find any fault in its performance after several rides, and have encouraged my brother-in-law to buy one for my sister (he already has an e-bike). Decades ago I worked as a bike mechanic at a lightweight bike shop, and I find the fit and finish of the Portola to be excellent. I used to recommend bikes based on components and frame, looking for the sweet spot where spending hundreds more would only yield incremental improvements. This bike hits that sweet spot. Components are great, including excellent brakes and superb frame. The only reason to spend more would be for greater range or if you are looking for a mountain bike to do steep challenging stuff. For dirt back roads or city travel, this is good for purpose at a great price.

I love my new Portola!!!! I took it immediately for a 24 mile ride! it was easy peasy. I love the upright position and the seat is very comfy. I am trying to use it whenever I can instead of car. I just got back from grocery store with 2 big bags and barely felt it. I am most impressed how easy it is to ride without power. When I go for exercise I just leave the power off. It is so great! Thank you for the fast service and great assembly directions!

Assembly was easy and without issue. The bike has plenty of power and allowed my 79 year old, 5' mother to once again be able to really enjoy the paved and dirt paths of the West Yellowstone area again.

This is my fourth Ride1up bike over the last 7 years or so. Indeed, still have my 2020 bike and the battery while on its last leg held up amazingly well, The bikes have always performed as promised. Ride1Up uses high end parts at low prices - far surpassing dealer prices — the direct to customer model does have its perks. The only drawback is one needs to have some experience with bike maintenance and/or find a trustworthy bike mechanic since service at the dealer ain’t an option. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the most recent purchase and would highly recommend.
