Easy to plan and execute - sent family on a once in a lifetime trip to San Diego to attend the 2016 All Star game and Roadtrips made is possible with no worries or glitches - very responsive to questions and on call where ever / when ever needed!

Clients had an amazing time and kept thanking me for reserving this
trip for them. They were there to really enjoy everything the race way had to offer, and did. They didn't even make the meeting with the race drivers, they were so enthralled with what was going on. They did take time to do a run through the museum, and happened to be there when the trophy was delivered...and had their picture taken with it! How special is that! On the day of the race, they were absolutely ecstatic with the police escort ride that took them directly to the raceway while the rest of the world was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic! Their seats were great and they ended up seeing the majority of the raceway. They opted to rent the headphones that allowed them to hear the crew talking to each other and the drivers which made them feel like they were really a part of the action.
They also complimented the staff from Road Trip - noticed how they were always helping others...they made a special trip to their hotel to deliver their tour packages and always very pleasant. This experience was their first on a tour of this nature and using a Travel Agent and have no hesitation about doing it again! Thank You!

Very amazing experience the only things was the hangout time to back at the hotel.
One hour wasn't enough.

One (1) hour time line for departure after the Indy 500 race ended was met; however, it may have been insufficient due to our experience with the following:

1. NO TIME AVAILABLE to watch the VICTORY LANE ACTIVITIES --- a lot a money was spent to not be able to SEE ALL ASPECTS of the INDY 500 VICTORY;
2. IMS STAFF STOPPING ALL FOOT TRAFFIC until ALL RACE VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT exited the race track* --- presumption that all participants have SEATS CLOSE TO AN EXIT --- had INFIELD SEATING;
3. IMS MEDICAL STAFF STOPPED ALL FOOT TRAFFIC for an EMERGENCY MEDICAL HELICOPTER AIRLIFT;
4. NO TIME to USE THE RESTROOM;
5. Volume of people attending the race (300,000+);
6. Use of a mobility scooter

*We BEGGED IMS STAFF to be allowed to cross --- finally was allowed to cross with FOUR RACE VEHICLES/EQUIPMENT still needing to exit the race track. If we had not been allowed to cross, we WOULD HAVE MISSED the established TIME LINE.

Highly recommend this company. They certainly know how to do a sports event.

FULL service, impressive, excellent and fantastic trip!!!!

Used Road Trips to go to the 100th Running of the Indy 500. They did a great job with my booking and taking care of everything prior to my trip. Received documents and tickets in a timely fashion.
On site was just okay. The police escort to the event was excellent. The post race timing needs to be longer. Made no sense to leave the event and sit in a bus waiting to get out of the parking lot.
Would use their service again.

Excellent coordination of our Indy 500 Trip through Roadtrips. The onsite Staff was attentive, prompt and thorough in their stewardship of our trip's accommodations, transportation and interim needs fulfillment. Friendly, engaging, knowledgable and always immediately available, when needed. Vastly exceeded our high expectations. Met their commitments to our satisfaction at every turn.

Going to the Indianapolis 500 was a 'Bucket list' trip and as I was travelling from London England with my son, I wanted to put my faith in an organisation that would handle all of the hassle and give me a memorable experience.
Roadtrips delivered from the moment I enquired - designing a customised package for us - through to enquiries beforehand - calling from England a few days before to arrange a taxi pick up - to meeting us at the hotel (Hilton, my hotel of choice) and giving us our tickets and a personalised briefing (As our plane had come in late) -and finally to the day of the race - getting us to the Speedway by Police Escort as promised.
The trip was everything I and my son could have wished for.
Are they cheap? No - are they good value - Definitely- Know how is priceless!

This trip was as advertised which in this day and age is high praise. Especially good was the police escort on race day. It was nice to arrive at the track excited rather than exhaused from getting there. It would have been nice had the bus left for the hotel after when we were told it would rather than waiting for the inevitable latecomer. It made a long day (albeit enjoyable) longer. Our Roadtrips written material gave us a restaurant tip that was fantastic. The gifts were quality items rather than knock offs. I would definitely use this company again.

Everything went according to plan. The Day trips, wine tours, lunches and driver/guide were excellent. The game tickets were good and the transfers went smoothly.

It was a four star experiance from purchase of tickets to end.

Missed little things
- No program for event (we had to buy it ourselves)
- Package included breakfast but had to charge it to my room. We are still working on getting that one settled

Good to work with...tickets arrived late (but before event). Service beforehand was good but onsite concierge seemed to be a little confused as to what the program was. Nice and professional people though.

When using Road Trips for auto race trips be sure to locate where the race tickets are in the grandstands. It may be possible to ask for an upgrade or to change seat location if you are early in the reservations process. The hotel accommodations is a concern although the hotels are four and five star the distance from the race track can be an issue if going to the track other than on the feature race day. Example, for NASCAR the trucks, Xfinity and qualifying all run a day or two before the cup race. Indy Car is the same way. Travel to the track is your responsibility on those days. Do not take an expensive cab, use UBER at less than half the price.

My experience with Roadtrips was fantastic. They are well organized and their people are responsive and caring. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Our host was very helpful and was genuinely friendly and interested in helping us with any concerns.

Our seats were exactly what I had hoped for and requested. We had some of the best seats in the house of 350,000+ spectators. The hosts were attentive and answered all our questions happily

Roadtrips took the worry out of this special trip for me and my two brothers. 100th running of Indy 500 was well organized at an nice hotel, good seats for the race and attentive personal concierge attention was great. Got advice and information we needed and also personal reservations for dinner as requested. Our contact, Kate, had answers and advice that fit our needs. Whole trip went well and the Roadtrips part was perfect.

Our host (Jeff Wills) was great, when we had issues with the seats we had for the race he came up with better options for us with no issues.
One thing that would be better is a bit more information on ticket options eg, pre race passes to give access to the garage area before race day and a bit more information about seat locations in advance.
The hotel (Staybridge) was a good choice.
The police escort to the race was a great touch too!

Roadtrips did an excellent job of keeping everything simple and ensuring everyone had everything they needed. Our host, Jeff, was knowledgeable about the event and the area, answering all of our questions, even those not related to Roadtrips. We would definitely use them again should the need arise. Zoom Zoom
