We would give ZERO stars if we could

We would give ZERO stars if we could. We ordered a bath panel on 20/01/25. Over the next 6 weeks we received just two deliveries, both broken.
Communication from Robert Dyas and their ‘supplier’ Ultra Finishing, was non-existent. My husband was told FOUR TIMES that a replacement bath panel would arrive within 2-3 working days. One of us took time off to stay in, during their oh-so-helpful 8am-6pm time slot, but no bath panel arrived, nor any notification as to why it hadn’t.
When I finally rang them up, I spoke to Owen for 40 minutes, who called Ultra Finishing directly and shortly after that our second (BROKEN IN 6 places) bath panel arrived. He also gave me the wrong email address for complaints.
I found it online instead and emailed. I received NO reply. Instead Sara (who seems to be the only customer care person!) emailed my husband directly, ignoring my email and wrote to him as if he had complained.
We were consistently treated as insignificant and our £57.99 order was clearly not important to Robert Dyas.
This was obvious at the end, when we emailed Sara pictures of the second severely damaged bath panel and were issued a refund, with no reply or apology for the six weeks of waiting in and ultimately not receiving our order. What a waste of time and effort! Total shambles. AVOID.

The after service is appalling

The after service is appalling. I bought a Sodastream and needed help in replacing the cylinder. I brought the soda stream to the store and not one of the 3 salespeople could help me.

Ordered a dressing table and 2 number…

Ordered a dressing table and 2 number bedside tables, pretty quick delivery which was good.

1 of the bedside tables arrived damaged, I took pictures and sent them straight off, received a reply saying they will be in touch - I thought this was all ok and I understood.

2 weeks went by so I chased this up, 3 weeks went by so I chased again, 4 weeks went by so I chased this up again. I received a reply saying this will be exchanged ( at last )

A week later Robert Dyas arrived, they arrived with a replacement dressing table and a bedside table, they brought the bedside table inside the house, argues about taking the damaged one back as it wasn't wrapped which I did state I got rid of all the packaging in my emails.

They then tried to bring a replacement dressing table into the house which I didn't ask for, my wife told them this assent required and they insisted it was and they need to remove the original one from upstairs, the argument went on for a while and we had to tell them to leave the house before we called the police. What a nightmare!!

I would avoid these people at all risks, you can buy most of the same furniture elsewhere which I would recommend even if it costs more.

We certainly will not be using these again.

Delay Tactics Employed On Email To Prevent A Return Or Refund .

Do Not Use This Company , They Are Scammy Drop Shippers Who Have No Interest In Helping With A Genuine Customer Complaint .

Headboard Is Just Awful, Poorly Constructed, Even Fake Studding , 2 Inches Taller On One Side Yet Too Small Overall , Terrible.

Never Again .

Ordered a light it arrived and we installed it only to find 8 shades with it instead of 9 ,so we have an incomplete light, emailed customer service to be told it would be resolved within 12 days, after 10 days with no communication or update I messaged again and was told to wait another 2 days, that's come and gone so I msgd yet again and got the reply I have to wait even longer! Seriously! What a farce!How long does it take to send an email and get the missing shade sent? It's ridiculous and I actually think customer service is just giving me the run around for a laugh because no way does it take that long for r.d to send and receive an update from the supplier,

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH

I ordered 2.5 litres of paint on the 4th Feb this year. I received an email 2 days later to say it would be delivered by the 11th feb. The 11th came and went. I contacted them and it took 2 days for them to reply telling me there had been a problem with my PayPal payment and to get in touch with them. Looked at PayPal, no issue, monies were sent on the 4th February. Sent attachment of to payment to Dyas, again took 2 days to respond. Stated they would inform finance team. 2 days later I get an email to say my paint will be dispatched. Had I not contacted them would still be sat here waiting on paint. Received today 15 days later. I'm boiling, to top it off they sent me an email calling me Sharon.

Mi Xx Bluetooth speaker

MoXx Bluetooth speaker had it for two months barely used it stopped working. Rung head office told me to take it to Windsor branch because it’s the easiest and the most convenient place to swap it. But no, they refused. It told my girlfriend to go to Staines or Slough instead because they’ve got one in stock instead of just ordering it in I then ring back and they told me apparently my girlfriend suggested that we go to One that’s closed after we finished work cause that makes a lot of sense when I spoke to head office and the branch manager about it all I got was attitude and ignorance. It was that difficult to sort out a rearrangement in the end. I asked for a full refund. I will never use Robert Diers again.
At a time when money is hard and things are tight you would think a company like this that sells a full range of products to build a home not a house. A home would be more interested about clearing some of their stock in their failing business rather than ripping their customers off, but hey Ho apparently just another one on band waggon

Quality light fitting at a great price. 5***** Service

I placed an online order on the 12th February for two "Tara Crystal 5 Light Semi Flush Ceiling Lights", was informed it would be fulfilled and dispatched by a 3rd party supplier (Ensora Lighting), delivered 2 days later on the 14th February by FedEx.
First class service from Robert Dyas, Ensora Lighting and FedEX. Quality light fitting at a great price.

Utter rubbish service

Avoid like the plague!

Brought an expensive bed with LED lights (for my son who has autism so the lights were the main thing), the lights didn't work on receipt. Have been in contact with Robert Dyas for almost a month now to be told they will collect in original packaging only otherwise I will be charged. I obviously got rid of the packaging when assembling the bed as assumed it wouldn't be faulty. Now having to go through payment provider to claim a chargeback. Never again. The whole customer service team seem to be outside of the UK and do not give any care whatsoever to customers once they've had your money. Don't even deserve the 1 star.

Rubbish company

Rubbish company, never received my order.I called the customer service and been told to get to me in 48 hours but they never called.Very bad customer service and they didn’t even give me a refund.They didn’t provide you a tracking number and you didn’t even know where is your parcel.Please don’t buy anything online from this company.

Still going round in circles

Still going round in circles, my wife was promised a information request form, nothing attached and when she phoned was cut off twice and no one bothered to call back. Terrible customer service, rather, non existent customer service.

Appalling customer service

I purchased a rocking chair was told on 3 separate occasions by their customer service team that my order would arrive within 2-3 days. It is almost 2 WEEKS later and still nothing.

Quite frankly I'm disgusted that I have been lied to multiple times by customer service agents who couldn't care less.

I am a nursing mother who needed this chair to comfortably feed my child in her own room during the night, and non-delivery of this item has considerably disrupted our family life.

AVOID this company - you think it is a name you can trust, but it is not. Spend your money elsewhere before you get stung like many others.

bought 5 rolls wallpaper

bought 5 rolls wallpaper, wanted to return 2 but you have to notify them in 14 days so we requested an uplift through their webchat after 9 days. we heard nothing so we contacted them again on day 16 and they refused to uplift as it was outside 14 days. We did contact them after 9 days but they claim they have no record of this. SCAM COMPANY DO NOT BUY FROM THESE COWBOYS unless you want to be lied to and lose your money.

Misleading & Mis-sold trading standards issue

Misleading, misled and mis-sold this should be the new slogan for RobertDyas.co.uk, I’m currently reporting them to trading standards. Added to that, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. no one cares to take responsibility and or find a reasonable solution. All of this because they promised a delivery date on their website they couldn’t fulfil. So many ways they could have solved this complaint.

I would highly recommend you DO NOT use RobertDyas.

They were given several opportunities to find a reasonable solution to this complaint but all I was offered was 10% off my next purchase !

Laughable and it just shows such a lack for customer care. When they don’t reply to your formal complaint they ignore your emails and fail to keep any of their promises to escalate and reply to you.

Of course this review would also be minus stars if it was possible !

Here is the series of events

I placed an order on 20th December.

This item was guaranteed to be delivered by 24th December

You failed to deliver the item in the timeline
I checked the tracking on the 24th December and it stated it would arrive on the 28th December

I called to complain and ask for compensation I was offered for them to cancel the order and a full refund and 10% off my next order

I advised this was not acceptable and for you to still complete the order on the 28th and I would make a formal complaint, i also asked for your complaints procedure to be emailed to me but this was never sent.

In the call I specifically asked for the Order not to be cancelled your colleague assured me he wouldn’t.

I then received an email to say it was cancelled

I then called again on the 24th the staff member advised if I want to product I need to order again as it was already cancelled and they can’t help me.

I then spoke to a manager who advised he had lodged an official complaint and I would be contacted but I can order the product again if I wish

I advised this is totally unacceptable and very poor service as it was a Christmas present.

I would have expected an apology and as it was guaranteed a discount on the product itself as way of compensation

The manager advised he was unable to offer any discount and that someone would contact me asap

I then received an email to state I would be contacted on Friday 27th December
But again no one contacted me on the 27th or 28th

Given the complete disregard for customer service and the fact you have failed to fulfill your obligation to deliver the product I would now expect the product to be delivered free of charge as way of compensation and a good will gesture or at least a reasonable discount.

Not the 10% discount code I was sent

You have failed in so many ways

Since this no one wants to help just saying case closed.

I still want the product but looks like it’s best that I order from a reputable company rather than a company that doesn’t care about its customers !

Good luck for 2025 as I’m sure you will be closing your doors soon with this attitude towards your customers !

AVOID, never again

Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing from them. I had a good impression but this has quickly changed when I recently purchased an appliance from them. Not only I was told the wrong delivery date and the item turned up at home I wasn't there that the product is also faulty and they keep replying with scripted apologetic emails that don't actually resolve or action a refund, replacement or repair. Several back and forth emails and 10 days later I am stuck with a broken large appliance.
