I am the site manager for the nursing…

I am the site manager for the nursing home. Had a non functioning resident chair. Within 2 hours Terry Tunesi arrived. It was not the predicted fault (charger) terry went right through the chair and found a simple user error issue. Great service left the chair working and showed me how to check it in the right mode. Thanks.

POLITE FRIENDLY & KNOWLEDGABLE

Terry Tunesi polite, friendly, accommodating, patient, understanding & relaxed. He waited until we were ready to hoist Mum into the chair fot him to make necessary adjustments. He made Mum laugh. Reassured any issues even small please call and he will attend within 24hrs.
Great experience.

Speedy puncture repair.

I had a puncture on my wheelchair tyre. I phoned Ross Care and spoke to Lowenna. She said she would talk to her engineers and get back to me. Within 10 minutes she called and told me that Sean Taylor would come to my home as soon as possible. Sean then phoned and said he was on his way. He arrived and changed my tyre's inner tube and checked and pumped up my other tyre. From calling Ross Care to fixing my tyre it was only about an hour. What great service. Well done Sean Taylor and Ross Care.

He turned up bang on time, nice introduction and easy style. Knew the opportunities but checked as well on the visit - made the repair quickly and efficiently and took note of further action required and ordered the parts.

My chair had cut out completely. I rang rosscare and they sent Sean Taylor straight out. He was able to find the fault and fix it and fixed a few minor faults he found too. Excellent engineer. Gave accurate eta and made sure I was set up in the chair again before he left. Rosscare usually provide an excellent service.

Worse than the NHS service

This company have replaced NHS wheelchair services in Durham.
My family member passed away recently.
It's painful seeing her empty chair. We have been told to contact Ross care to collect it.
They never answer the phone.

Strange how almost all reviews start…

Strange how almost all reviews start with drivers name, almost like it's been driven by a scanner at the end of a delivery, forced 5 star whilst stood in front of the service user is so disingenuous. You should be ashamed and have flagged this practice as the date of the system scanner update is clear.

Service with empathy

Gary Thompson visited our services to repair a wheelchair.We knew that probably needs new part and he confirmd our suspicions.
Whoever,it was very important for our resident to use the wheelchair in the weekend so when we explain that to Gary,he found a temporary and safe solution to our problem until the part arrives.He shown empathy and understanding and those are very good qualities for a person in his position,who is dealing with people in care.Thank you so much Gary
