Absolute superstars they turned our 14 year dream into reality!
We were actually quite reluctant to use RSC New Homes at first, as we were told by our developer that we just needed to speak with them to check our baseline affordability. However, we were so incredibly impressed by their initial service that we decided to go ahead with them. Even though we actually changed properties in the end and didn’t buy from that original developer, we chose to stay with Joanne and the team because of their outstanding customer service, deep understanding, and genuine empathy for our situation. We are so pleased we trusted them and the process!From the very first moment we were introduced to Ailish, we knew we were in safe, expert hands. She set a wonderful tone and gave us immediate confidence.Our application required a lot of complex documentation, and Joshua McCardle took over as our case manager during weeks of intense back and forth with the lender. Joshua was an absolute lifesaver. He didn't just manage the paperwork; he was almost like a counsellor to us during a very stressful time, keeping us calm and completely supported throughout.Finally, Joanne Young's incredible expertise ensured our formal mortgage offer was successfully secured.After 14 years of waiting to own our home together, we are absolutely thrilled. Martin and Lucy were excellent and attentive to my needs.

Martin the advisor was excellent from start to finish where he took time to explain in lay man terms what products were out there and what was best for my purchase along with the term I required. Any queries from the mortgage provider were dealt with professionally by Martin.

Lucy the case manager again was excellent in providing updates and updating the mortgage provider when any further information / documentation was needed. Lucy kept me informed along the process and at times when I needed updates or information was needed nothing was too much trouble.

Lucy and Tolga were very helpful with figuring out our mortgage and working through the insurance options. There's a lot of information, which can be overwhelming, so having someone who is responsive and takes time to explain the housing market and the different rules is valuable.

I am currently in the process of moving again and Andrae has been my mortgage advisor throughout. He has been incredibly helpful, breaking everything down into simple, easy to understand terms, which is crucial during what can often be a stressful process.

Communication has been excellent throughout, with regular contact maintained via both email and phone — exactly what you want during these situations.

I did encounter a small issue with the lender and their correction timescales were beginning to worry me in terms of keeping my buyers happy and progressing my sale. Andrae and Sabrina, in particular, have been outstanding in pushing things forward on my behalf.

Sabrina took the time to reassure both myself and my estate agent that the mortgage had been agreed and there was no cause for concern. She truly went above and beyond to fast trackk my case. What was expected to take over 7 days was completed within just 1–2 days.

Thanks to their efforts, I’m back on track and cannot praise Andrae, Sabrina, and RSC highly enough. I genuinely have no reason to ever leave RSC.

Even though it was a shame we couldn't avoid the exit penalty with Halifax, they managed to move everything forward efficiently with Barclays to keep my purchase on track. Matthew, Denise and Danielle have been wonderful during my mortgage journey. Despite already working as underwriter and knowing the process, they fully explained each aspect and kept me informed. They have been extremely helpful and responded quickly. They’ve kept my mind at ease throughout the process and it would only feel right to give the recognition they deserve! We used RSC New Homes for both houses we were interested in. The first, a Taylor Wimpey development and the one we've eventually chosen, Miller Homes. Initially, we dealt with Matthew Betts, who was fantastic at setting everything up and very responsive. He completed our affordability check for the first house and when we decided it wasn't for us, was able to change everything around and get us an AIP for the new house so that we were able to reserve it.

We were then passed on to Joanne Young, who was a joy to speak to. She has a lovely character and, again, was very responsive; answering all of our questions and queries and working all hours of the day to fit us in. She explained everything to us very clearly and made sure we understood before moving on to anything else. I feel when moving house, it's something you don't do very often for most people, so having somebody who genuinely made us feel so comfortable about the whole thing was important. Joanne was the right person for this job.

After Joanne had finished our application and sent us the mortgage illustration, we were then passed to Denise Warrington for processing our mortgage offer. Again, superb service and kept us updated at every step of the way. We didn't have to chase her for anything, she contacted us every time there was a development and everything felt like it was moving along beautifully. When we eventually got our mortgage offer, we were so happy and really glad that we used RSC as it was a seamless process. I say eventually, I think the process from being passed to Denise to receiving our offer took 9 days and only because they required some extra evidence, we changed solicitor mid way and then there was a 4-day wait for the valuation survey to be completed.

The survey was booked for between 10-14:00 on a Friday and our mortgage offer was received before noon on that same day!

We would like to thank Matthew Betts, Joanne Young and Denise Warrington for all of their help on our property matter. If you are ever in the market for a new-build property or any property (as they don't only deal with new homes) and decide to use RSC, I hope you are lucky enough to get such a fantastic team. Throughout the whole process Denise has been amazing, with constant updates even if it isn’t a full update she was there letting us know at every stage it was at, which makes such a difference.
