I rent a property managed by R and R and have only lived here for a few months so far. But the process before moving in (with Abbie) and then since I moved in (with Shay) has been trouble-free and it has been a pleasure to deal with them. They've always been quick to respond to queries and just today, after the fridge freezer broke down, a new one is already on the way. Thank you to Shay and all of the R and R team!

Having rented a property via Rushbrook & Rathbone over the past four years we have rarely encountered an issue. Communication in regards to property inspections and contract renewals has always been prompt. Responses to issues logged within the property have been followed up swiftly, albeit with some delay of response from the landlord. During the check out process we were always kept up to date and informed by Shay, and our claims against the landlord for the deposit did take longer than expected due to delayed responces from the landlord. Shay would check in to let us know that they were still following up. Really happy with all of their help!

I have nothing but praise for the excellent and very professional service offered by all of the Team at R&R. As a Landlord they communicated with me very promptly, with easy to understand requests for information and then provided a comprehensive service by finding extremely suitable Tenants, arranged viewings, provided very professional Tenancy Agreements and had everything agreed and signed by the Tenants and myself and all within four days. R&R then conducted the Tenants introduction to the Apartment, took meter readings and made sure the Tenants had everything they needed. Abbie from R&R provided a personal contact between myself and the business and made sure everything went smoothly. I cannot praise Abbie and R&R enough for making the whole process simple and seamless. Thank you so much Jon C

My communication with R&R began when they sent me an email out of nowhere saying I was to be paying them now, instead of my previous arrangement. The email contained no identifiable information, and no one else had explained I was to be switching property management agencies. R&R's communication with me began at the lowest possible level, and continued to sink.

It's been 5 months since the heating in the main hallway has worked, and R&R have completely forgotten it's a problem that they should have dealt with four and a half months ago. This shows a clear lack of follow-through from a company whose job is to successfully follow through client complaints.

Issues that have arisen thanks to a landlord with a disgusting attitude have only been worsened by R&R's lazy attitude. R&R seem to believe that they're doing everything within their ability to resolve issues. If this is the case, R&R are SIGNIFICANTLY lacking in their ability to provide the service they advertise.

For these reasons, and several more nuanced reasons, I am unable to recommend R&R for your needs. In fact, I would advise you to steer clear of this company wherever possible.

Kay and Shay and team at Rushbrook and Rathbone have looked after us so beautifully over the last 6 years. Communication was excellent, timely, genuine, kind and professional. Whenever anything went wrong with the house (rented), it was fixed as soon as possible. I would highly recommend using this company. Thank you especially to Shay and Kay - you were brilliant.

Unfortunately terrible experience. Held to ransom by R&R as a tenant you get no choice in property management agents, but anyone with choice should avoid R&R at all costs. Very high staff turnover, so they never recall the actual situation at the property and really don't care. But the real issues came with a change of tenancy. The landlord (decent guy, always seemed to us to have been fair and reasonable) approved immediately, but it then took R&R forever to sort out the paperwork with one convoluted excuse after another, costing me 2 months additional rent that I was supposed to pay on top of the costs of the property I had moved to. Incredibly stressful and horrific experience. Zilt comprehension of the impact on tenants, who they clearly do not care about in the slightest. Rude, unhelpful, never reply in a timely manner to emails if at all, had to hound so repeatedly to get action on the situation. Then when I finally got the tenancy change completed by them, the following month they started hounding me for rent money on the property I was no longer a tenant of...

Over the last three years, I have seen significant staff turnover at R&R including several part way through contract extensions with no departure notification. No email, no phone calls, nothing.....after a while having not have heard anything, I email....there is no automated response to say the person has left R&R so a while later I call to find out that the property manager has left the company. This has happened to me far too many times and contract extensions have taken anywhere from 3-6 months for a 2 page doc to be signed....with relatively simple terms. They have been signed at the end or after the end of the term of the existing contract....

Further to this, the accounts department has twice incorrectly chased unpaid rent.

I am not sure what is happening behind the scenes but I imagine R&R overwork and underpay their staff who then just leave. In my opinion R&R is an unreliable entity and for peace of mind, I would go elsewhere.

I rent a flat and property management recently changed to this company a few months ago. I have been dealing with Corrina and June. Corrina seems very kind and patient and responds quickly. June is also efficient. A very difficult job to keep both tennants and landlords happy especially with coronavirus pandemic. Certainly not a job I would like to do. I think they try their best in difficult circumstances. I have lived in this property for many years and normally don't have any issues but this year I have had a bit of bad luck, I expect things are getting old and worn out after many years of use. I will probably be able to give a more accurate review once they have managed the property for longer.

During a very difficult moving-out / moving-in process for me, Shay was always available to contact. The landlord approval process was expedited as much as it could be under the circumstances.

June Beattie has been very prompt, professional and responsive.

Have been a client for 4 years with two properties. Always happy with price and service. Recently had a issue with one of my properties and Shay Teasdale was a star in sorting this out. Highly recommended.

She consistently made sure that any issue arising was dealt efficiently, giving both us and our tenants feedback and updates where necessary.

Kay has referred to our list of tradesman and if we didn’t have someone to recommend she sourced her own reliable suppliers.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kay to anyone and only wish she could continue to manage our property now we’re back living in it. Now we’ll have to deal with the day to day maintenance of our home ourselves!
