Hi Scott, we're sorry to see this, but we'd like to clarify what happened. Your Harley-Davidson was booked from San Diego, CA to Eureka, MT — an area near the Canadian border where finding a carrier is already a challenge in this industry. We secured an enclosed carrier for Aug 15th, but after assignment you requested a delivery location change further north, which the carrier couldn't accommodate and led to the pickup being cancelled — something outside our control. We worked to find another carrier, but shortly after you asked to cancel the order entirely. Per our agreement, we refunded $1,390 and retained the $250 cancellation fee for the work already completed. We understand this was frustrating, but this wasn't a scam — Safemile did the work asked of us at each step. We're happy to clarify further if you'd like to reach out directly.

I will start with completely dishonest. When I booked to have my recreational vehicle transported I was quoted a price and request to pay a deposit. A couple of hours after that I was contacted with news that the driver demanded more money but they could not get a hold of me. They told me the took care of it though and assured me it was done. Next day I get a notice I have a new driver. I call and completely get lied to about the driver had a safety check he had to do. Now new driver new ship date new deliver date days later. All they tell me is it happens all the time it’s not a big deal. Of course it’s not because it’s not theirs. Do not recommend these guys to ship anything. Completely dishonest.

After reviewing your booking, this shipment was set up in April with pickup in early May — a period when a sudden spike in gas prices pushed carrier rates up industry-wide, which made it harder to secure a driver at the original quote. To keep your timeline on track we found another carrier, though it did mean an increase of around $250, about 15% over the initial agreement. We understand that's still frustrating, and we're sorry it added stress on your end — unfortunately these market swings are sometimes outside any broker's control, but we've taken this feedback seriously to improve going forward. If you're open to it, please reach out to info@safemileautotransport.com and ask for Manager George Ozbay — I'd be happy to offer a coupon for your next shipment.

The poor service rendered by your company as outlined in my previous poor rating, can be supported by Geico assessment of damages; however you are missing the point. The claims were denied because Aimirim General Services , driver of transport courier (Lenno Souza) was not listed on the policy. Letter on file to support same. I will be happy to provide claim number that all supported pics were sent to Geico and verified of damage by their adjustors. Customer be aware!! AGAIN CUSTOMER BEAWARE!!!
This happen in Nov 2025 and they are just responding. Numerous calls, emails etc; were made to Safemile. No response.

However, the claim reason itself wasn't valid — there was no actual damage to the vehicle. Leaves found under the hood were simply a result of the car being transported during fall, not damage caused by our carrier, which is why the claim wasn't approved. We did spend considerable time on calls and follow-ups trying to resolve this with you. We stand behind the service provided, and we're glad to have had the opportunity to work with you before as well. Everything thing went very well with the transport of the 1976 VW bus that I had shipped from Montana to San Francisco. The world of cross country car transport is a strange one with a lot of pressure tactics. Solid Service from NY to CA with Minor Hiccups
I used Safemile Auto Transport to ship my car from Great Neck, NY to Laguna Hills, CA. The price was fair — originally quoted at $1,500 but negotiated to $1,220 — and the pickup went smoothly. The driver was professional, did a proper inspection, and the car was delivered in good condition with no damage.
The main issue was communication and delivery timing. I was told the trip would take 6–7 days, but the car was pushed for delivery only 4 days after pickup, well before I arrived in California. I had to chase updates myself, and at one point the carrier threatened storage fees if I couldn’t accept early. In the end, the dispatcher worked with me and arranged delivery the evening I landed, but the process was more stressful than it needed to be.
Overall, Safemile delivered as promised, and the price was solid for cross-country open transport. Just make sure to get the delivery window clearly confirmed in writing and expect to be proactive about communication.
