I recently purchased a Mercedes CLA200 CDI from Salvatore Performance, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the experience.

The car was exactly as described and in fantastic condition. From the very beginning, Adam was friendly, humble, accommodating, and incredibly easy to deal with. What really stood out was his honesty and genuine approach – something that’s becoming increasingly rare. At no point did I feel pressured, and he was more than happy to answer every question I had.

We were originally due to view the car on the Monday, but due to a personal issue on our end, we had to ask if we could come on the Sunday instead with only around six hours’ notice. Adam went out of his way to accommodate us on a Sunday evening, which we really appreciated and speaks volumes about the level of customer service they provide.

This has been one of the most straightforward and pleasant car-buying experiences I’ve had. Adam is one of the most honest and reasonable salesmen I’ve met in a long time, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about his customers rather than just making a sale.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Salvatore Performance to anyone looking for a quality car, and I’ll certainly be looking forward to doing business with them again in the future. Thank you again, Adam!

Without a doubt the best experience I have ever had of purchasing a vehicle. After having been let down by so many 5* dealerships, being promised “clean examples” but on arrival, anything but clean, I had almost gave up on my search of finding a performance vehicle.

I expressed my concerns to Ahmad over the phone regarding my previous experiences with other dealerships. He simply replied, “I promise you, if you come you will leave with the vehicle”.

It was a 3 and a half hour drive, and upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Ahmad who showed us excellent hospitality. We had a look over the vehicle, which for its age was in absolutely immaculate condition. I went over every panel and could not find a single scratch. I looked and looked for anything to negotiate a better price on the vehicle, but I failed to find a single defect.

We took the car on a test drive, and to this day over a year later the car still drives immaculately. It has been my pride and joy for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier.

Even a year later, I had to contact Ahmad for help regarding the vehicle and he went above and beyond to ensure that he could help. If someone is willing to help you even a year later, then I would feel very comfortable purchasing from them.

I genuinely hope that even my next purchase will be with Ahmad as he has certainly won my trust.

Can highly recommend Salvatore Performance. Purchased a Jaguar F Type from Adam but sadly realised the car just did not suit us. Explained this to Adam who kindly offered to take the car back on sale or return basis. Adam collected the car himself and resold it charging us a reasonable fee.

I recently purchased a Jaguar F-Type and I am extremely happy with it. I’m based in Dundee so they were in the other side of the country so I was initially hesitant at first but after speaking to them and doing a video call, they blew me away with their knowledge and professionalism. I never thought I would buy a car unseen but with these guys, I felt very comfortable. Safe to say I wouldn’t hesitate buying a car from them again in the future.

I cannot praise this dealer enough. I recently bought a Porsche Cayman and discovered after a couple of days, a minor but annoying issue, I contacted Adam who immediately responded and asked me to return the car at my convenience so he could check and repair as required. On returning my car, he got it booked at his workshop and within 1 hour while I went to the local cafe, it was repaired.

From past experience with other dealers, the issue is so minor, most garages wouldn’t have even responded back to me but my experience with Salvatore Performance was second to none and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a quality used vehicle and a customer focused service.
You will be treated to a professional and courteous service that continues after you have bought a vehicle.

Very happy owner of a Porsche 911 Targa thanks to the guys at Salvatore. I purchased it from them around 9 months ago and in the last few days, given the warm weather we’ve been having, I thought I would start using the air conditioning. I noticed I had an issue with the air conditioning and I thought I would reach out to Salvatore to see if they have a garage they would recommend. Not only did they manage to get me booked in to their garage and have the issue fixed within 24 hours, they even paid for the works themselves. I did not expect this from a car dealer as given previous negative experiences with other independent dealers and even main dealers, I kind of brushed all car dealers the same but these boys have now changed my perception. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking at one of their cars to definitely buy from them.

I was interested in buying a second hand Corsa I saw on Autotrader, and from the first enquiry to purchase and delivery, Adam has been great. He answered all of my questions, booked a really prompt viewing, allowed me plenty of time to view and mess with the car, and took it on a good test drive. His calm demeanor, honesty and integrity is exceptional, and it really didn't feel like I was being sold to, because the car and price sold itself. After a few negative car viewings, this was a breath of fresh air. Thank you for being so accommodating, and for the new car!

Adam offers a great service, after going to multiple car viewings he made me feel at ease with his laid back approach. You can tell he cares about the quality of cars he sells, making sure they've been well maintained. He was also the only person that left us alone with car so we could speak without anyone looming close by. I was looking for a Ferrari California in mainland UK to take back to my holiday home in Spain.. I spoke at length with Salvatore and we came to an agreement on a blue one they had in stock.. so far the car has not skipped a beat and has been a joy to own

On 29th September, I commenced my very unhappy car purchase journey with Salvatore Performance.

I write this review to warn potential buyers, that I have found this business to be far from reputable and all the assurances on their web site to be marketing ‘words alone’, as the subsequent actions to resolve a fault that was present at the time of purchase have been totally unsatisfactory and his responses nothing else other than dismissive. It has now cost me over £2700 to rectify.

So, my Jaguar was supplied to me with a failed battery, and a badly leaking and failing differential (not evident at the time of purchase).

Salvatore resolved the battery issue. However, the two previous MOT’s specifically warned of oil escaping from the differential (on 24/01/24 and 03/02/25), and he assured me that it had been serviced since those findings. I looked under the car in October, and found blackening in the underside rear end exhaust. I brought this to Salvatore’s attention, and he responded that it was likely an exhaust bracket. (I am no mechanic, and I foolishly accepted his word)

2 months later, I was making a longer journey when I noticed an increasingly loud whining from the rear end, and so I drove it to my local Jaguar Specialist in Kent, who advised me that the differential had completely failed and that I should stop driving immediately.

I advised Salvatore on 10th December and sent the garage report a few days later. His response was that I should take it away from the JLR Specialist. and leave it on his driveway in an Uxbridge housing estate on 29th January for him to investigate. I was offered no indication that he would rectify the fault, and he offered no recovery to transport it there (from Kent), and he offered no courtesy car for the 6 week period. A classic fob-off in my experience, and one that I felt would just add more and more to my inevitable bill. As such, I instructed my local Jaguar specialist to replace the differential at a cost of £2733 (the crown wheel had shattered, likely due to lack of oil).

I have written to him twice, and I have had one response advising me he refuses to compensate me for my repair cost, with several completely ridiculous excuses for justification.

Salvatore’s web site states:
“All vehicles come with a comprehensive 3 month engine and gearbox warranty”
“Each client is treated with integrity, honesty and professionalism”
“We have extremely high standards “
“All servicing and checks is carried out independently. This ensures that the maintenance of our cars is carried out to the highest manufacturer standards”

I have found NONE OF THESE CLAIMS TO BE TRUE

I really urge any potential buyers to be extremely cautious about trusting this car dealer. I did, and it has cost me a great deal that I will now have to recover through SMALL CLAIMS COURT

I bought a Land Rover defender from Adam. He was a lovely gentleman not to pushy and great service from him.The car I bought was amazing with full Land Rover service history and a very clean example. I personally myself highly recommended this company and I will definitely buy from this company again.

I am writing this review to correct repeated misinformation published by this dealer in response to my previous reviews.

Despite their continued attempts to discredit me, the core facts have never changed, and I will restate them clearly and calmly:

1. The seat defect was reported immediately
I first reported the driver’s seat issue on 14 March, six days after purchase — not “two months later” and not in May. I have written evidence of this. Repeating an incorrect timeline does not make it true.

2. The seat was not “minor wear”
The driver’s seat was structurally broken and had been freshly glued together to conceal the damage. This was confirmed once inspected. It was not repairable and required replacement at significant cost. This is not cosmetic wear and tear — it is a concealed defect present at sale.

3. Additional faults were later discovered
After professional servicing, further issues surfaced that were not disclosed at the time of sale. These faults were not obvious on casual inspection, reinforcing my concern that problems were actively concealed, not missed.

4. The “father verification” story is false
My father did not verify the car, did not contact Mercedes-Benz Head Office, and had no involvement in the purchase decision. This claim has been repeated publicly by the dealer despite being untrue.

5. Mileage after purchase is irrelevant
The number of miles driven after purchase does not change the fact that defects existed at the point of sale and were reported immediately. Attempting to shift focus to mileage is a distraction from the original issue.

6. Pattern of deflection
Rather than addressing the defect itself, every response focuses on paperwork, mileage, tone policing, and repeated accusations — while avoiding the simple question:
Why was a broken, glued-together seat sold without disclosure?

I am posting this so future buyers can make an informed decision. I stand by my reviews and can substantiate my claims if required. I will not be engaging further

I had a very pleasant experience with my car purchase. I had a few niggly bits post sale and Salvatore sorted everything quite swiftly

Really great experience buying an Audi A5 from Adam. Even though it was a cheaper vehicle than their usual stock, he still took the time to find out all it's history, clean and service it. He was flexible with my appointment and encouraged me to have a proper test drive of the vehicle.
