This is such a great product RTI / GAP insurance, definitely worth taking out. The company could not of been more helpful and such a competitive price compared to other places. In the past I have paid 3 times as much via a dealership for exactly the same insurance with the same company. Highly recommend savemoneyhub.com. Took out gap insurance. Explained to on the phone that it was a return to invoice insurance. Fast forward a few months I unfortunately had to make a claim due to my car goi no on fire. Was told I was due £3515 back but I had to wait 5 weeks for it to go in my bank. That was ok. I waited no problem. Then £287 went in my bank. A fair bit of difference there.

So 2 days back and forward on the phone I finally get told that I was told the wrong amount. I was told I had the wrong insurance (I only had shortfall) and that was it. I queried about why I was told such a different amount and asked them if they would be honouring this price. I then asked them that they could look at Howard’s files and was told by Dave in the claims department that Howard (who I originally was dealing with) had cancer and that was not possible.

They have been so unprofessional with me. Have left me thinking I was getting £3515 for 5 weeks to be hit with £287. I’ve been sitting in tears and Dave was rude on the phone. He kept talking over me and speaking to me like I was stupid. I don’t work for the company so I don’t know the ins and outs of it!
