My cashmere sweater was wearing thin at the elbows and a small hole had appeared in one place. I opted to have the elbows repaired rather than have patches. The result was astounding. Even on close inspection the darning was barely visible, it blended into the garment so closely. Lotti and Emily are so helpful, nice to deal with and customer focused. It would be difficult to find such quality of repair at so reasonable a cost elsewhere.

I wouldn't buy first hand cashmere due to animal ethics; but I was so pleased with the structure and shape of the snood from SC, and the softness. As a gift it went down well so would buy from them again considering John Lewis sells ones for £75 (£25 more) and they're pretty similar.

Great service and communication - very happy with my repairs.

I had two half zip tops (one grey 100% cashmere and one a mint green fine cashmere silk blend) that were brand new and I opened my wardrobe to find moths had devoured 6 holes including one that was 1cm in a very visible place. As my items are quite valuable, I was looking for a service that had good reviews (Second Cashmere did).

Throughout, the team (Lotti) kept me updated and answered my plethora of questions! They were very upfront when I sent images and information about both the cost and what was possible e.g. invisible repairs possible to the cashmere top, but the silk blend being so fine would not be possible to be entirely invisible, but they would do their best.

I received both items back via special delivery (Second Cashmere arrange this) 2 weeks after I initially sent the items (sending to them is organised by the customer).

I was incredibly happy with the repairs when I opened the box. Other than where the work has been done on the inside, the 100% cashmere top repair is entirely invisible. The other silk blend top there is a minor repair visible, but it’s still a really good job considering what they had to work with and a perfect colour match. In fact, you’d only notice if you were looking for it. Many years of wearable use now ahead of me again, thank you to the team for such a great job!

From the gorgeous quality, fun style, and personal craftsmanship of mending, secondcashmere are wonderful. Very affordable for secondhand cashmere that has been repurposed for reloving! Living locally to the studio is extra nice as you get to meet the team.
