Got a quote with compare the market for annual travel insurance and specified the USA as well as Spain and France. It said it included the US in the insurance, however when I got my documents through it said Europe but then when I pressed for more info it said my original answer of the United States! I don't think the United States is in Europe?! Was a pain getting the insurance cancelled too as I had to re-book a completely new policy with another provided as I wanted a worldwide one not just Europe, chat support took ages to reply each time now got to wait 3 days for refund.

Spent ages putting all the details in on compare the market for Travel Insurance… chose select and protect as they seemed to be the best value. When I got the policy document through it is lucky that I checked that only Europe had been stated and not other parts of the world which I had specified and needed. Have now complained and have not heard anything back at all – so I don’t know whether my insurance will be updated and made valid or not. I tried to call and in the middle of the day on Tuesday it says they were not open for calls. My email has not been responded to yet. Far too much hassle for what should be a quick process.

It was easy to renew my policy. Also used the very helpful online chat to correct an error I had made. All resolved in less than 5 minutes.

Jad to cancel my holiday due to heart issues which is declared on my application. Try emaIl them is a joke witj copies of invoices . They just send you a email back saying not recognised , total scammers this mob. STAY AWAY !. RIP OF BRITAIN SHOULD GET ONTO THESE LOT.useless nice on a phone bit you dont get nowhere anything not to pay out they will try .

I hadn't heard of Select & Protect until a friend told me about them. When I mentioned the well known company who advertise on TV that I last got travel insurance with, I was told that with Select & Protect I would definitely make a saving. On a single trip policy for my wife and I, I saved just under £57. I'll be using Select & Protect again in the future.
