Untrustworthy company, with shameful practice
I encourage customers to stay away from this company. They are not trustworthy in any shape or ways. I participated in their Indiegogo campaign that they were very proud to brag about being fulfilled in record time. That said, they left their paying customers without information and instead started heavily advertising everywhere to boost sales of the product. The customers have started voicing their concerns and frustrations, but with no response. It took an actual official article with people even approaching them at CES 2025 for the company to finally admit their mistakes.
They finally posted a long overdue update and stated they will offer a 20$ gift card. The problem is, this is 20$ to purchase yet another product from the company that customers have lost trust in. Ironically enough, we are also still without any products in our hands... This was for the SnapGrip Pro... which is now indicated as backordered on their website... In the meantime, they now have a newer product, the ProGrip, that has superior specs for less than 20$ difference...
The company is not avoiding the crisis, it's in the middle of it. If your initial campaign has technically failed past the funding part, now is the time to show actual strategical solutions...
To all potential customers, do yourself a favor, buy from a competitor. There are alternatives now.

Roller Coaster RIDE but Happy
So, in September 2024, i ordered Telephoto and wide-angle lens from Shift Cam with iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max case as the case for 16 pro max was on pre order, it was supposed to be shipped before end of October.
As i changed my phone from Pro Max to Pro only, informed them properly.
so where is the roller coaster ride?
I received first batch of order in 20 days of placing the order, but their 16 pro cases were delayed. I missed first concert because of that as I sold my other phone, The other set back was in December when they promised me that my case will be shipped in November but again delayed due to issues.
Although, they offered me free gifts like a travel pod and ND filter, which makes me happy as they are caring but it failed again as my case was shipped in January 2025 but guess what they sent iPhone 16 Pro Max case!
I emailed them and they immediately shipped 16 pro case and arrived late as i missed Coldplay concert as i wanted to make videos.
Although, i would like to thank Ariana, she is so humble, a great customer service rep and the way she communicated each things made me happy as i got nervous when 16 pro case was delayed.

Great accessory for iPhone 16 Pro Max
My order arrived just as promised. The ShiftCam Pro was very well packed and the packaging for it was high quality. Very simple to understand instructions got me going in minutes. Seems like a nice, quality made piece and it made making videos with a phone so much easier and professional. Awesome piece of equipment!

Bluetooth disconnects when charging and terrible customer service. Product does not work as advertised.
I have had 3 replacements for shift cam progrip...all had the same issue. When charging is enabled, bluetooth disconnects. Purchased on amazon. Contacted shiftcam directly hoping there was a software update or some other fix, since the concept was terrific. After almost 6 weeks and twenty emails, including multiple requests for various videos (which I sent and were received...and then different videos requested), I requested a refund, realizing that they had been stalling and essentially asking me to do their product testing for them! Would not issue a refund because I purchased through amazon. By this time, too late to get a refund from amazon. They kept promising a "satisfactory resolution" which did not happen. I originally purchased in November 2024...nearly 3 months ago. Now no refund and stuck with a useless product. I already wrote a review here several weeks ago...and it was not posted. Terrible product, terrible company. DO NOT PURCHASE. I have since heard that others have had this exact same issue.

Absolutely Awful Experience Ongoing
I placed two orders - the first 16th Sept 2024 and the next 2nd October 2024 as I was so impressed with what they seemed to be selling. These orders collectively totalled above £500. Most of the items were for Christmas gifts and I had to think and spend more money last minutes to make sure I had gifts after lots of false promises and sleepless nights in my part.
Four months later and I have been given the absolute run around from them. I asked for refunds but was given two different reasons as to why they won’t give me my money back (such as they don’t offer them for pre-orders - even though they missed their own promised dates).
I finally managed to get my money back from my credit card company for one of the orders, but the other was a bank debit and so I am still fully at their mercy and get the impression that they are now being even more difficult because I managed to cancel one of the orders.
They went from promising me at least part order to this ‘I regret to inform you that, as per the latest update, the SnapPocket Light has unfortunately gone out of stock. This has resulted in a hold on the entire order, including the previously promised items’. I am at a complete loss as I cannot afford to lose this kind of money, but literally do not know where to go from here.
Please do order with care from this company.

Ariana, from their customer relations department, was prompt and incredibly helpful. Hopefully, management will green-light the equipment purchase so I can get to work using ShiftCam's gear.

Indiegogo Ripoff
I spent ~$300 on the Indiegogo campaign for SnapSeries and they took the money and ran. I backed on Aug 6 (08/06/24) and today Jan 28 (01/28/25), I still have nothing more than failed promises.

Extremely shady company
Read Update at end - Extremely shady company. I wouldn’t advise anyone to order anything from this company. I made an order expected to ship early October. Nothing warning or heads up nothing shipped. Had to message customer service to find out they are running a month behind and it would ship early November. Nothing. Contacted again said they are delayed another month. Come early December…. Nothing. This time when contacting them responses stopped completely. To this day none of the support tickets opened in December have been responded to. Had to call the credit card company to reverse charges and file a dispute. This company will be bankrupt within a couple years. These types of companies always do. They sell goods to customers that they don’t have always lying about when the customer will actually get the order. Complete amateur garbage company. Save your money or you’ll be in for headaches.
Update: Communication has only gotten worse with automated responses when customer service tickets are opened. I literally can’t stress enough how bad this company is. You will regret any purchase made from this company. With all the shady companies out there it’s still actually shocking how much worse this one is, in any category. Run away from giving these people your money!

This item was brilliant for taking pictures of my phone in a more professional way. Price is good for the quality, I have had cheaper ones that do not compare to the quality of pictures from this. Reality was a bit disappointing
The idea of the lens on a mobile seemed great (saves taking a bigger camera along) unfortunately the reality didn’t live up. I found it tricky to attach the mount to the phone and when I did the weight of it made it pretty cumbersome and unless to

If it seems too good to be true… it’s a scam. Do not touch with a barge pole. I placed my order with them on 22Nov and nothing no customer service and I have lost £228. I contacted the at least a dozen times and no response. I had hoped this would be the perfect Xmas present. Unfortunately I didn’t state the year! Looks like everyone has experienced the same non existent customer service and the reviews below are bait.

Order Fulfillment & Communication Issues
I placed an order on November 30th as part of their Black Friday sale for a Christmas gift for my mother. It's now December 17th and I haven't heard anything about the status of my order. I did reached out yesterday via their online support ticket and received an automated response that they're "experiencing an exceptionally high volume of enquiries and may take longer than usual to respond to your request."
So at this point I have to assume this order won't arrive before Christmas, which is incredibly frustrating and so disappointing.
