I've been using Shipton Mill for bread flour supplies for 18 months for domestic baking. Their customer service is excellent, range of flours extensive and their products are great quality. I tried their seed blend on my last order of flour.... it's delicious and nothing like supermarket seed blends. I can't praise this company enough for their ability to set high standards and stick to them. Well done everyone at Shipton Mill.

Placed two large orders over the weekend. All delivered today Tuesday. Perfect! This time ParcelForce we’re excellent. The delivery man well deserved his freshly baked loaf.

I have been using Shipton Mill for nearly a year now, since I was let down by the supermarkets during the first lockdown.

Just wanted to take a moment to write what a fantastic service they provide. We have been using Shipton Mill for about a year or so and they have been great. Great products beautifully packaged and delivered.

I've been using Shipton Mill flour for years as it is a local firm, and they have quite a few organic options. But if you ring the changes and buy anything different from the norm, you are basically guessing how the flour will behave. First loaf wasted, second loaf a struggle to eat, third loaf lucky. They say they are millers, not bakers, so they don't given an indication about their flour behaves or what adjustments to make. But they must surely have some idea about how it bakes? Take their spelt flour with figs - two packets and not a single edible loaf. So I have given up. The final straw was when the pandemic hit and the company in no way supported local at that point. Couldn't get an order for love nor money for several months.
I have found another supplier now...good organic flour with an indication about how to bake with it. Happy baker again.

Have had two deliveries from Shipton Mill. The wholemeal organic and organic light malthouse produce excellent loaves in my Morphy Richards bread maker. Service very good delivery times also good despite Covid. Highly recommended.

I have now had several shipments of flour from Shipton Mill and I now buy all of my flour from them. Its really good quality - far better than any from the supermarket.
I have always found customer service excellent, even during the first covid lockdown when they were extremely busy.

Excellent service excellent flour
I have just received my 4th delivery from Shipton Mill since July 2020. Ordered Sunday 17th delivered today Wednesday 20th, fantastic service.
All delivered by Royal Mail Parcel Force, well packaged, no plastic and intact. Sacks of flour may arrive earlier/later if you also have smaller quantities on the same order so don’t fret.
Every flour they sell is of excellent quality however you
bake with it, buy some 1kg bags of to try if you are unsure if you will like it, ( free delivery over £30 unlike some suppliers) you won’t be disappointed.
Great back story as well, flour millers with a passion.

Like a lot of people, I first discovered Shipton Mill during the great flour shortages of 2020, when you couldn't get it in any supermarket. I was lucky to get a delivery slot in April, and I've continued to order from Shipton Mill ever since because I was so impressed with them - even with flour back in the shops.

The flour is really great quality and everything I've baked using Shipton Mill's products has turned out great. I've mostly leant on their white flours but have also tried new flours through them, aided by the handy descriptions of their website - my favourite has been the malthouse which I have loved in sourdough. They are pretty inexpensive (compared to others in the market like Dove's Farm, for example), and the delivery is so fast. All in all, a really impressive service and I hope to use them for years to come.

(I wish they did more bag sizes though! A 3kg or 5kg... something between 1kg and 16kg!)

Excellent quality flours especially their Organic variety and the prices are very reasonable. Always delivered promptly (some issues during the pandemic but that was not unexpected).Could never go back to the sub standard stuff the likes of Elephant Atta sell.

Organic bread flour did not rise in the bread maker. I contacted Shipton Mill who suggested reducing the water volume, but still no joy. I received no further replies to my emails.

I never used this company before but highly recommend it and would use again. I ordered the largest bags 25kg white and 25kg wholemeal flours. And a smaller one. Speed of delivery only a few days. Delivered by royal mail and was packaged excellently. Good cardboard boxes. I only bake at home and never buy supermarket bread anymore. I cannot wait to use it ,just waiting to finish some flour I already had. The flour itself is in very strong bags.

Did not deliver my order. It has now been over a month since I ordered and 3 weeks since I first contacted them. The initial reply was unhelpful and since then they have stopped replying including to my asking for a refund. Essentially they have taken my money and given me nothing in exchange. I'll have to go through my bank to refund my money. I won't be using them again.

Shipton Mill has a wide range of flours and all are excellent. There is a very good range of gluten free flours and also organic ones. The website has useful information on the products and ordering is straightforward.
As regular home bread makers, we have been buying all of our flour from them for the past few months and are very pleased with both the products and service.

Excellent range of flours. Ordered a wide range at a time when most places were out of flour and despite warnings of delays from the mill and delivery companies arrived very quickly. So far I have tried 3 of their flours and they are all excellent; the Heritage blend wholemeal produced the best tasting bread I have ever made! Would highly recommend.
