My almost 11000 kicks was taken away and credited 5000 kicks like other people experienced. Never going to use shopkick, SCAM

Shopkick hides behind email while stealing kicks and money from their customers. You can only communicate by email and they will stop responding if they plan to not make a situation right. Shopkick declares they overextended the Old Spice deal, however they have no issue changing the value of kicks for every item daily and at times by the minute. They are liars and cheats! Unethical business practices, without consequences. This company should be stopped by us the customer and boycotted for good. BEWARE!

Shopkick offers rebates, then denies them after I've made purchases and submitted valid receipts. Worse, they LIE and say I'm being denied bc of poor receipt images (never mind that I can see my crystal-clear receipt images on their app), and then customer service is unresponsive for days. A colossal waste of time!

Beware! I’ve used this app for a few years and always found them to be reliable. However as the other following complaints attest they recently offered a high return for purchase of Old Spice, oversold the rebates, then proceeded to not only take back the points earned for that offer but additional funds. I had a $100 gift card, only $54 was from Old Spice but they took the whole amount back! And I am one of thousands effected by this. I will be deleting this app, and reporting to every consumer fraud avenue available

Shopkick you dont even deserve 1 star. how daré u steal our money for our honest purchases. U approve our kicks and then turn around and take them back. Shut off gift cards and pay pal. I hope u sink. We are what keep shopkick going. So i hope everyone stop using this app. U need to make it right by the customers. Intil then im sure u wont be getting a lot of business from us couponers. BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS APP. THEY WILL STILL YOUR KICKS FROM U THAT U EARNED. WILL BE REPORTING TO THE BBB AS WELL. I WILL NO LONGER USE THIS APP. BAD BAD BUSINESS AND FRAUD.

This company told me they would refund me 1700 points called"kicks" for each old spice product I purchased. I purchased many different items and shopkick refused to pay out on a single one. I'm hoping the bill for 350$ of items they told me I would be refunded for. They will not stand behind anything they say and should be avoided!

Shopkick posts large rebate deals and then after crediting your account with suddenly take away all the points you have earned! If you ask questions they will just refer you to their terms and conditions which says they can do this whenever they want. Do not trust!

I started using this app a couple of months ago. I've encountered several issues regarding kicks I've received for purchases. Either wrong amount issued or even some have been taken away. I wouldn't waste my time using this app.

TOOK BACK POINTS AFTER THEY WERE GIVEN! I DID EVERYTHING RIGHT TO REDEEM THEM. NOW YOU CAN'T CASH OUT AT ALL!

Shopkick offered a cash/gift card rebate for Old Spice products purchased at Walmart stores.

Now thousand of customers are being punished a week after receiving our funds because Shopkick went over budget, so they are reversing our earnings, taking back gift cards, and even putting our accounts into negative balances.

On top of this they keep demanding W9s from people who haven’t surpassed the $600 earning threshold as they are marking support credits that were manually entered for in-store rebates as kicks that were not “purchase cash back” when that is false, it just was entered manually by a support member.

This company is very shady and deceitful. I purchased the items mentioned and made sure everything qualified. They took a week to get back to me and rejected everything. This is just messed up. They refuse to take responsibility for their own issues and instead punish the consumer.

Ugh!!! Shoulda come here first to read previous reviews. Kicks that were previously awarded were reversed. That’s really shady and I’ve reported them to the FTC.

Company is blocking customers from cashing out their points. They are reversing points for products that were purchased and approved. They are also inaccurately reporting the amount of made to the IRS and refusing to make it right with their customers. They’re stealing from us and committing fraud! Beware.

Post rebates, reward the rebates, then do not allow redemption of the kicks only to take the kicks back!!!!!!!

They really need an option for 0 stars. Shopkick is shady as h$ll. I had 47,650 kicks. They removed all but 800 kicks. They said they’re going to award me 5,000 kicks for my trouble. So, instead of paying me the $190 I legitimately earned doing their offers, they’re going to pay me $20. I don’t think so. DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!!

Sheisty! Their app is really poorly coded and will show offers that are no longer valid. Steer clear!

I was referred by my friend and used for about 3 weeks. I went into stores and scanned items. I tried to cash out and was unable to do so. I contacted customer service and was told my account was fraudulent. I deleted the app. It was a waste of time for me.

I've enjoyed using Shopkick in the past, but they have too many errors in the app.

Scanning an item in the of a store to get kicks. An error pops up, "We can't seem to find you. Maybe try to go to the front of the store." It kept happening for all the Beneful and Cesar brand dog products I tried to scan.

This just keeps happening.
Shopkick app has signed me out. While trying to scan items for kicks. And running slow before I got signed out.
Takes a long time sign back in.
Error comes on screen saying, "There is no internet connection......"
So I'll try to sign into the Customer provided internet in the store (examples are Walmart and Target).
The app has a message "There is no internet connection."

I will uninstall Shopkick app, install it again, try signing out....the app keeps acting up
I have had four receipts in three weeks where kicks were not awarded.
One receipt the customer service agent said it looked like an electronic receipt. The store ran out of receipt tape and had to reprint the receipt, it's not an electronic receipt. No kick awarded, and I took items back to the store.

Second receipt, no points awarded. Contacted customer service and after sending images of receipt, they gave me my kicks.

The third receipt, no kicks awarded. The customer service agent said the receipt looked damaged. No matter how clearly I took a screenshot and sent emailed them to the agent, they insisted the receipt looked damaged. No kicks awarded, and items were taken back to store.

Fourth receipt, no kicks awards for Dog wet food. Tried contacting customer service twice for over a week. No response and no email showing they had received my complaint through the app.

Got a response. I sent two emails, first with the receipt screen shots and description of the wet dog food as it is stated on the receipt. Second email had screenshots with amount of kicks to be awarded for the wet dog food.

I get a reply in my email that my Shopkick account will be suspended because I have sent more than one customer service complaint on this receipt. "We love offering a free app and helping people earn free gift cards, but it only can work when everyone plays by the rules.

Unfortunately, your account shows activity outside of our terms of service in the form of falsified receipt submissions. Our records show multiple submissions of fabricated and/or tampered-with receipts, which is against our rules."

I have gotten that straightened out, but I am done using them to redeem my receipts for shopkick points.

I asked about getting the kicks for the wet dog food.
The next email response states, "We apologize for any confusion and inconvenience you may have experienced.

Regrettably, the receipt you have provided appears to be damaged and lacks some necessary details. Please be informed that we are unable to award kicks for receipts that are damaged or incomplete. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

No kick awarded. The product was returned to the store.
So I'm not sure I will even continue to use the app. This is annoying and very silly when I am buying items to redeem through their app. What gives?
One star, but you should be awarded no stars for your the main issue of getting kicks awarded for purchases since your app can't read the receipts.
The errors are getting annoying too.
It makes shopping trips harder to complete.

Shopkick needs to improve their app.
If you any of the current or new customers of the Shopkick app experience this too, hope the customer service agent that helps you is better than the last one I had contact with.
Please fix these issues Shopkick.

App is a scam! Everytime I go to the store and scan something it says “ Sorry!
We don't recognize that product. Make sure you have the right one.” Which CLEARLY I have the right product ‼️ I’m done wasting my time going all around stores on a wild goose chase.
