I have been subscribed to this platform…
I have been subscribed to this platform for over two months with the intention of finding a babysitting position. Despite actively reaching out to multiple families, I have received little to no response. On one occasion, a parent expressed initial interest, but unfortunately canceled our scheduled meeting without further explanation. This lack of engagement has been quite discouraging. Given the limited results and ongoing inactivity, I am now seriously considering discontinuing my subscription.

Sending invitations and replying to messages is free on Sitly, and with Premium you can reach out to as many members as you wish. We also send reminders to parents who don’t respond, and inactive profiles are moved down in the list so active members like you are prioritized. Keeping your profile updated with a photo can also help.

The vetting of individuals should…
The vetting of individuals should really be a priority of Sitly. I know they do their best but if they really want to help parents out - this is where parents need it the most! We really appreciate the young lady that we ended up having come spend time with our child and would recommend her, but for clients that just don't have the time to wade through the pool of applications - this could be an issue and they will go elsewhere. However, if you have the time and the will to do it then this is the best site to use as of right now.

Rude behavior
Contacted a woman. She set up time to meet. Said she would send address Sunday Am for interview that day at 2pm. Asked if I had a background check. Said No, I’ve just returned to Canada after working in the US as an RN 30 yrs. Waited for her call all day. Later in evening checked the site and she had deleted her profile.
Wasted my entire day. New profile says if you can’t produce background check don’t bother.
Totally rude.
